This was the first cache I ever looked for originally with my dad and brother Harry this time I ventured out alone for this cache and found it easily!yay TFTC no pencil so pic
Found with Dracophyllum. Log book chocker. Definitely needs replacing. Lovely houses, didn't know this was all here. TFTC.
Found after a short search. Thanks for bringing me past all the huge houses. It’s amazing they haven’t been converted to birding houses or something. But then again every city has an area like this, it’s just the this one is bigger. The log book is full but there is still room to scrawled my handle in. Worth a Fav for the location. TFTC
Finally! Had a look for this before. Often interrupted by muggles. Gps was way off. Patience paid off in the end. Jasmine smells lovely right now or is the sweet smell of success?! TFTC. Btw the logbook is full
It was time to take my niece and nephew out on another geocaching adventure. I decided to target around Milford. We were lucky the rain held out and it turned out to be quite a nice day given the torrential rain during the night.
We headed back over the bridge making our way to Greenlane for an event in the afternoon. We were heading to another cache, when I remembered that this cache was close by, so we made a small detour to this one on the way. Luckily we could park just up from this cache as it was a quiet Sunday. Didn't take too long to locate the cache, but took a while to extract the log, as my nephew had misplaced my multitool which I would have used. Signed on the back page as the log book is full.

Had a physio appointment at Cairnhill nearby and with time to spare after came by here to pick up the first of the caches I need to unlock the museum vault. Hint and description didn’t help, so just resorted to eyes and then I just saw it straight away. Not sure if it’s still as intended but rehid as found after squeezing my name into the log. Thanks for the cache!
3rs cache today hidden in or attached to one of these.
Couldn't get log out.
9th for safe in MATM.

Nice easy find on my way back from work to get a mystery clue. Watch out here because people kept popping around the corner with no notice. Log is very full. Tftc
Out for a quick dash to grab my mystery in the museum caches. My aim is two this morning then back to my Mums to plan our new outing. Nice houses in this area and a lovely street. Took a bit to spot the cache but it shouldn't have if I'd read the clue properly the first time. Thanks for the hide in this interesting street
I'm house sitting in Grafton so decided my morning walk would be on a route so I could get this cache. A nice quick find here in the first place I looked. Wow, some rather posh houses in this part of town!
tftc. The log is totally full. Also, there is no magnet nor is it wrapped in black tape now.
Over this way for a quick couple of caches after work, plenty of traffic, but easy in the dark here, TFTC
After having found'Go back to your roots' I continued my walk on to this cache. Had a thorough look around the structure at GZ, before finally finding the cache in a location which just about matched the hint.
Only one cache in the centre of Auckland today. Trouble finding places to park and places to turn. City caches can be a bit of a challenge at times. All good here though thanks. My worst problem was 100 questions from someone I came across nearby. Very forward he was. All I wanted to know about him was which of the nearby shacks he lived in but suddenly he knew all about me he needed to know and was on his way. TFTC .
After playing table Tennis nearly, I tried to find this one. Succesful!
Thanks for hiding!

Nach einer kurzen suche gefunden nur leider hatte ich keinem Stift mit trozdem TFTC
I needed to get out of the office today in order to blow the cobwebs out of the brain and get a bit of fresh air. I also had some things to drop off near by and so that is how I came to be looking for this particular cache. So after parking close to the hospital I made my way to GZ on foot. Once I arrived at GZ I pulled up your hint and tried to figure out how your thought process worked... but initially to no avail. My GPS also didn't want to settle... and so I walked away from GZ in oder for it to re-centre itself... and as I walked back to GZ I saw a clue that suddenly made the whole hint make sense. Once I had figured that out it was a nice quick find. However, I did have to wait a while to make the grab as there were a number of cars that passed and also a couple of muggles who were out running. Now the cache has obviously been replaced at some stage... but I signed the log book and put it nicely back in its hiding spot all ready for the next finder. So thank you janalfan for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC
Decided to come and collect a few smiley faces this afternoon whilst trying to avoid the rain showers.an easy find.log is now onto the last page.
We often used to walk along this road when we worked in Newmarket a few years ago so were pleased to have a reason to come back. Once you are under the trees it feels like you have stepped back in time. There used to be some victorian lanterns here as well but they seem to have gone now.
We thought the cache may be gone as there has been a lot of treescaping and many branches were piled up around GZ but after a bit of a search we spotted the cache.
Thanks for bringing us back here for a walk down memory lane.

Parked up the road which gave me the chance to look at "Rannoch" as I walked down. Spotted a few things and would love to see more. Didn't take too long to find the cache but did take a while to get the log out. TFTC
Nice easy find in the sunshine with two colleagues on the way to lunch in Newmarket, first find for Emily and she made the find. Thanks for the cache in this interesting street. Merry Christmas!
Decided to walk to this one even though it was out of my way but the cache name was the attraction. Cache was in place but theres no magnets holding it in place. TFTC
After a visit at Mt. Eden and another geocache around here, i walked by this place. The cache was discovered after a short search and then quickly in my hands, but the log was hard to get out out, still i achieved to get my name into it. So now i've been to the center of Auckland at my 1st day here in New Zealand visiting from Germany.
My gratitude to the owner for hiding and maintaining this cache
***No muggles were harmed while searching, finding and logging this cache...***

Log hard to get out. log ripped when we tried. Day two of a 4 day road trip from Hawkes Bay to Auckland and back to collect as many caches as we can. Log signed as b&p.Tftc
Had never ever been down this street or even knew it existed. We were surprised at the amount of traffic and people who used it. While at the GZ got taking to someone who turned out to be Dionz a fellow cacher.
Out doing the C2C walk with Agazo today with a few detours for caches and we couldn't pass up the centre of AKL! Enjoyed walking through this area, TFTC
Second time lucky! Came in the rain a few days ago but couldn't see it for the life of me, found it today when the sun was shinning! Definitely a little more than 20m up a road from the intersection at the bottom but the gps is on point! Found with the help of Anz! TFTC
Stunning day for a lunchtime cache outing. Had to wait until another set of cachers had finished. Tftc
The road to GZ was blocked by a street sweeper, so I walked down to GZ. The find was quite easy. As was already stated the lid is missing, so the contents will get wet when it next rains. Please fix to save this cache. TFTC.

Nice and easy find. Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful street. Lid is broken, and not holding to its container. This cache may need some love and care. TFTC

Was out and about in the area on business, and had a little extra time. I stopped and thought, is this a street or fancy private drive, as in this part of town it could be either. I took my chances and slowly drove down towards GZ. Quick find and formalities completed without a single muggle sighted. TFTC
Had just dropped junior NewlynFam off nearby, and decided to do a bit of caching in this area, since it's not one I regularly come to.
Pulled up at this one, and was fascinated by this hidden little street and some of the gorgeous places of residence in it.... what a lovely little haven. Unfortunately, just as I was getting out of my car and walking towards where I thought the cache would be, some skateboarders appeared, and one sat down just a few metres away from GZ. Looked like they were practicing their moves down the hill. I had to pretend to be very interested in the traffic on the motorway, and in my phone, as I sat down and waited for them to disappear. They kept practicing, so a lot of stealth was needed, going in for the retrieval and replacement when they were all down the bottom of the hill, and then getting out of there. Luckily I got away with it!!!

I'm currently attempting a 50 day streak for the GIO Licence I am working on and as an added challenge a few of the SEAC crew are joining in.
I had been in the city for an appointment and thought I had best get a cache on the way home to save the ones closer to home for other days. A quick look at the map and this one was close enough to the motorway for a quick stop.
No need to worry about the cars along here its the muggles that seem to appear out of the blue!! Thankfully I had a pretty good idea of where it would be and once I found the right spot along the guard there it was.
Thanks for the cache. Streak day #16

I think it depends on the map we're using - my Garmin does not think that the center of Auckland is anywhere near this place.
The lid is still missing, and some spiders take advantage of this fact and build their homes in the container
Thanks for the cache! Greetings from Latvia!

The lid is missing from the tin but all is nice and dry inside. I replaced it so the opening is slightly lower than the rear end so any water getting blown in should drain.
Returned on a much quieter day making for easy park and grab. Cache appeared to be misplaced , therefore have repositioned as per hint. TFTC.
Couldn't try to find today as a group of (not so young) boys on skate boards, complete with hand signals to relay info regards vehicles coming up the road had total domination of the area. We will wait for a more suitable time.
Found this one pretty quickly. My brother used to live nearby when he was in his late 20's in an old nurses hostel (well after it was a nurses hostel). It was an amazing (albeit very run down) place with 13 bedrooms, an industrial kitchen, a separate gym, a class room and an underground bunker. He lived there with 5 flatmates & they all had 2 rooms each with the final bedroom for some indoor horticulture (ahem). Nice for some eh! It was also surrounded by the last piece of virgin native bush in Auckland. Beautiful spot
Walked down to cache area in evening and my muggle sister beat me to the right spot. Afterwards continued our exploration of ateas we had not been to before by walking down to underpass. Tftc
Needed a cache for today and grabbed this one after meeting relatives for dinner in Parnell. Thankfully the rain had passed and this was a quick find in the dark with the coordinates being spot on. TFTC
Interesting area tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Good clues lead to a quick find. TFTC
Took longer than it should have in the dark and rain. Interesting to be so close to the motorway at rush-hour on a Friday, in the dark AND rain. Eventually a systematic approach brought the container to light.
TFTC!
TFTC!
Great chance to practice my stealth as the only other person around was a tourist who seemed more interested in photographing the motorway. Tftc
It was only on the second look at the same spot that I could see the container - weird. Might be misplaced a few centimetres as the hint was certainly not correct for us. TFTC.
When we spotted GZ we though this would be an easy one but we found the cache on the second look. Tftc
This was the closest traditional geocache to my home. Dunno why I didn't look for it earlier! tftc
Having checked with CO, that everything look Ok, I returned for another hunt.
This time it was an easy find in the first place I looked - which is strange as this was the 2nd place I had looked the first time - and it wasn't there then (very mysterious).
It was because I hadn't found it in what was the obvious that I had started thinking of double meaning etc. I saw that there was something missing, that if there could have fitted the hint.

Parked at the top and walked down. What an interesting old street, can just imagine what it was originally like before the motor way went through.
Unfortunately I couldn't find the cache, searched several places, re-read description and hint many times.
Have a feeling that not only is the cache gone but GZ too.
Returned to car and then drove down to take a photo. Will email photo to CO to confirm my suspicions.

On our [trip around the world](http://www.hoppundweg.piekar.de/) we came to New Zealand as well. We first visited the south Island, then we came to the north island. We searched many caches and found almost every cache we searched for . Thanks to all the owners of these caches. Now, 2 years later, we recognized, we will never be able to log every cache seperately... So: Sorry for this standard logtext and thanks for one of the caches, which accompanied us on our journey.
As a former staff of Garmin Cartography, I'm pretty sure, that Garmin didn't set up the city point of Auckland. Normally all the POIs were licensed on Here/Navteq/TeleAtlas and how they called. Anyway on my journey around the world I was also in New Zealand and of course in Auckland. Pretty nice and a lot of caches, so it took me time to log all of this caches. This cache was quite easy to find so we had more time to search for other caches. Thanks a lot for the cache.
Took longer to find than it should, perhaps should have paid more attention to what I was reading. Fascinating place to visit. :-0
#276. A fascinating street with great hidden sculptures and massive forest trees. Enjoyed exploring this area thanks to geocaching. The cache itself was quickly found by Miss L. TFTC
Nice cache, thanks. Found on a quiet Sunday afternoon, didn't encounter any cars or pedestrians during my hunt.

Walking up the road, though 'nah, it can't be there' And kept walking. I think because of the picture I was under the assumption it was in a park, and so I continued up the road looking out for one (and also avoiding some muggers hanging around GZ.
When that failed, I wandered back and designed to trust GPS.
The muggers had moved on, so I darted over and found it before long.
Unfortunately it was covered in spider webs, and I was a bit hesitant at first. But then I just got a stick and poked it until the cache fell off!
Interesting little walk this cache took me on. Never knew this street existed.
Thanks!

'Gar' had an appointment on the way home on Manukau Rd and what's a girl to do while waiting around? Look for a geocache of course! The amount of traffic meant I only had time to look for one and this was the one. Should make sure to read description properly and trust GPS! Had to wait for a few muggles to pass by before I could log and sign but managed it - was busy with walkers and cyclists and motorists along here at the time of my visit. Been to the centre of Auckland now! Thanks jandalfan!
We got slightly off track on the way to Withiel Thomas reserve and ended up in this street. Admired the stone walls and bush surrounding these gracious houses. Interesting to know about Rannoch- it's a listed historic place http://www.heritage.org.nz/the-list/details/7198. And since we were here, enjoyed the cache!
After the event close by today I decided to give this one a go. At GZ I made a quick find and replaced the cache as found. TFTC
Had a bit if time between patients and had to pick up some supplies for young shark pup so thought I would drive past and find this one. Knew exactly where it was as work just up the road. Was good to get out of the clinic and into some fresh air. Tftc
The cache was very stealth. Took a bit of guess. Hint was useful.
Didn't have pen to sign the log.

Our last find for the weekend to end a superior four days of straight caching. A quick park and grab, thanks for hiding!
Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
Lots of walking exploring streets that I had not visited before, and looked over the fence at some of the art, the elephant and other unusual features. Followed the GPS, and after a short search the cache was found. Thanks again for the hide.

Walked from "Rock on baby" cache, and so got to see the beautiful tree lined streets, and the continuation of the lava flow from Mount Eden. Thanks for the hide and bringing us to another beautiful part of Auckland.
I'd been to look for this one on an earlier visit to the steamy jungle of Auckland - but this time I found the prize. Can't see why I missed it last time - my brain must have been scrambled by the humidity.
Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(2280)

What a tranquil little road so close to the motorway! Rannoch House's garden looks fascinating - I wonder if the public can visit?

Was convinced the hint said 'pump' so I was stumped for a good ten minutes, checking everywhere! Read the logs and realised my mistake, then it was a quick easy find
#222. Hardest part was clearing all the cobwebs. A lot built up over the two days since it was last found! TFTC
