Found while out checking the area after a storm went through. Popped up here to check that there was no lightning strikes. Im actually a volunteer firefighter.

I had a few hours in between shifts, and Im nowhere near home- so figured Id go a hunting for some smilies TFTC & the beautiful view- even on a very average day.

Well not much a view today just glimpses but still a quick pretty spot to stop :3

I found this one while out for a ride on my motorbike today.
I've been meaning to grab this one for a while now but every time I come passed there has been someone sitting at the table having a picnic and enjoying the fantastic view. I finally had the place to myself this morning and it was a quick find as some of the camouflage seemed to have been knocked away.
Signed the log, re-hid the cache and on my way to the next one.

Easier in the daylight

With the price of fuel dropping after the fuel excess was reduced, time to head down Bass - Woolamai way for a drive. Can't see fuel prices ever going down again, so no better time than today. Even if the weather wasn't the best, and the wind picked up with a drizzle while out caching.

The title of this one is accurate, and for the first find of day at 9 am, it was certainly a lovely spot to start the day.

After a short search Grub62 and I were able to find the cache as described and in good condition. Then to enjoy the views and discuss life with the friendly locals (cattle). NTNL and TFTC.

We stopped off to search for this cache on passing by today. The cache was quickly located and log book signed. Thanks so much for the cache and for having bought us to this very nice viewpoint. Greetings from Zimbabwe

Me and the other half decided to go for a drive on this beautiful day as we both had the day off. We hopped in the car and followed our nose, heading up into the hills. When we got to this lovely lookout we decided to have a bit of a stop and checkout the magnificent views. I have had a very very dry spell without finding any caches for quite a long time now, in fact this is my first cache for 2019. A few weeks ago I had mentioned to hubby that I should get started again before the slithering creatures return too much. As I went to hop back in the car, I noticed a zip lock bag with what looked like a couple of disposable gloves sitting on the ground and suddenly it occurred to me that it looked like some geocaching paraphenalia and that this spot was a very likely spot to have a cache. I grabbed my phone and fired up the geocaching app which I have not used for so long, and sure enough, there was one only a few meters away. I was very nervous about snakes seeing as it was a warmish day, but I did not stumble on any snakes, just a nice geocache to bring my total to 264, after an extremely long hiatus. TNLN TFTC

Well the gps had me going from one tree to another. Finally it settledand there it was. Cache is in good condition. Beautiful view.

I had been working in Wonthaggi all day and was on my way back to Melbourne... by "not the most direct" route... hoping to find some caches along the way. After my first two attempts came up , I was pleased to now be at 3 for the afternoon... even if I did have to wait out a muggles that stopped here at the same time I did.

Since moving from New Zealand in 2016 I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T all multiple times.
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go to is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
I enjoy finding well maintained caches in fun and unique cache containers. No one likes finding a mint tin – but a find is a find after all.
I’m currently working on a Project-GC challenge to get the average word count on my logs over 200 words.

On a clear day could possibly see two of my caches from up here.
GC7GJGB - Intertidal Lookout in Corinella and GC77C7Y - Hazel Pomaderris out on French Island.
Tonight all we could see were lights in farmhouses and nearby towns and the stars above.

Out for a few caches with my close geo bud omegaman1971 grabbing a few smilies on our way to Phillip Island and we made the most of grabbing few caches along the back roads before hitting the highway. When we pulled up at the gz we had another muggle taking a few pictures and it was omegaman that struck up a conversation while l hung back and made a quick easy find, l then used the natural cover to sign the log and then joined them in taking some truly beautiful views, many thanks Gonefishen07 for the hide and for bringing us here.

My caching has been a bit quiet lately, but I have no work today so a caching mission is on. This a very nice part of Victoria that I usually just drive through on the way to Phillip Island.

Replaced log.

Geowife did a horse ride nearby and we came back to take in the view which was spectacular today. Cache found within a short while. The log book is just on full and will need a replacement. We managed to find a spot to sign. All back safe. Excellent country up here and worth the visit. Thanks
