Day 13 of our loop through Vic and SA then home.
Today we were on the move from Bordertown to Tailem Bend. fitzy_1965, albida33 & I headed out early to get the caches in Mundulla before heading for Tailem Bend. We signed as MAF or FAM to save room.
Our aim was to collect favourite points, oldies, AL’s and any interesting caches in-between. Once set up in Tailem Bend, we headed out for some Ice Cream’s, cleaned up Happy Armpits and found some Wandering Heroes. All up a great day before having dinner with my cousin & Uncle who had travelled up from Adelaide to see us.
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

Southern Autumn adventure Day 14. Post Mega South East SA trip Day 8. It was another travel day today, but first Fitzy_1965, MinnieK and I went to Mundulla. Logs were signed F.A.M or similar. After a lap of Mundulla it was back to camp for the final pack up and hook up of the van and off we headed to Tailem Bend. There was opportunity for some stops along the way and a snack here and there. Once In Tailem Bend we headed straight out to hit some of the series we wanted in the area, firstly ice-cream which was another set of puzzles that have been burning a hole in our collections for some time. After two more series in the area we headed back to town for dinner with a cousin.
This has been a DNF for me for many years now. Today I found it really quickly, so who knows what I missed way back when.
Thanks for the cache froghoppin

This was the next find of the day, and a quick find once at GZ. Signed, replaced, and then we headed off to the next one on our list.
Thanks froghoppin !!

I think the cache title is a far better name for a town.
Interesting info in the description too.
Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, froghoppin

Cache has seen better days and log is to full so have replaced with same cache that I had in car ️
Heading down south for the day with marajade01 picking up a few caches along the way all thanks froghopin
One of four caches found on an end of year dash to Melbourne, that is not particularly caching related.
Im looking for quick park and grabs today, and this one fits the bill perfectly. I’m not sure how it has escaped the previous runs to Melbourne, but today it moves to the found pile.
A 12 year old cache too!
Thanks for the cache Frogghoppin.

On our way home from Murray Bridge, we were driving through very heavy rain and passing flooded paddocks. At one time a police car led us single file through a flooded Highway.
Quick find, love the title. Thanks froghoppin.

I found this little one a bit tricky but I got there in the end
Time to head home from the Mega event, October long weekend in Millicent. I’m going to work on getting my ‘finds’ milestone before I hit my driveway
It will all depend on how much rain I run into on my drive ️

Today it was back on the road again with ilook4geo after the week's lockdown in Mount Gambier. It was good to be caching again and our travels took us north and away from the rain, cold and strong winds of the last few weeks.
With so many caches on offer, it was a case of one, two, skip a few, three, four, skip some more. With the travel time needed we still found enough caches to keep us happy for the day.
This was one of the caches we found and we say thanks to froghoppin for placing this cache.

Being free again from lockdown and able to travel and cache with goingplaces2, it was time to get on the move. Found a variety of caches and all logs had both names noted on them. Cache and log were both in good order. TFTC.
It blends in a bit being the size it is. Had a bit of trouble getting my pen to write on the log. TFTC
This weekend, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed to the Coorong for a night camping. We first stopped off at Nairne via Littlehampton, and then travelled past Salt Creek to cross into the Coorong. We camped at Tea Tree Campground, and on Sunday we travelled back via 42 Mile Crossing and Kingston SE, visiting Jip Jip Conservation Park and Coonalpyn.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I continued our adventure along the Coorong with a beach visit, and then departed via 42 Mile Crossing. We did a loop of the vicinity by stopping off at Kingston SE, followed by Jip Jip Conservation Park. We then made our way back to the main highway, making a brief stop in Keith, and then arriving just in time for the Coonalpyn waffles event. We then returned home via Meningie and Swanport Wetlands.
This geocache didn't take long to find, and one that I had driven past numerous times before, but never stopped! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks froghoppin for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Driving along ...as one does... I saw this one again... every time I go past I see it taunt me... so I stopped...as we do as cachers! Took just a couple.of minutes a day CIH duly signed... or se why am I here!! And wasn't until I had CIH did the very slow penny drop of why this cache name is what it is... near stopped for the night! TYFYC SLTNLN and a fave for the penny dropping moment!!
Day 399 ( Thursday 1st ) of our trip. Caching along the way. Heading to Millicent today , heading south. A total of 4 for the day and 7178 the trip. A grand total of 17,146 caches. TFTC
Headed to Bordertown today with Mrs. iowaPete. The thermometer decided to push higher today. HOT HOT HOT!! I've never experienced temps in the 40's before. Wow. Glad the air conditioner worked so well in the car. It was a long drive day, so our stops to find a cache or two were a nice break along the way. But! We only chased one, then retreated to the coolness of the car. Having come from a cold climate, the adjustment to the heat was a bit tougher for us!
In reading the cache page, I had a pretty good idea of what to look for. When we got to the beacon, I was confident that I'd be able to run this one down. Only took a brief look from the right angle to call out the find. [^]
It's in great shape. Log sheet is now half-full. My signature is the first one on the second side. Reassembled and replaced as found.
We're having a ball chasing these as we drive. This is grrrrrreat!

Thanks for easy find on a catastrophic fire day. Too hot to pop out, but needed the streatch. Ta.
KGS had a crazy idea of an extended weekend, starting from the mega and then onto SA!! We wanted to see how many we could find and still get back to our accommodation near MEL airport before midnight! We ended up exhausted and covered in dust, but what fun! TFTC!!!
Hinemoana and I were on a mad dash backwards and forwards from Melbourne to the mega to Tailem Bend to Melbourne in over the weekend! Nutty, but great fun!
Heading to Bendigo for the weekend for a family wedding I decided to pick up a few caches along the way. All caches were found in good condition, all in some rather beautiful spots.
