As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Noticed that the cache had gone missing, so while in the area, decided to replace it and log a find! The new container replicates the old, a fruit container located at the base of the old tree, with a magnificent view across the vale to the coast. Thanks for the cache misterdrewkittytoo!

Taken out after damage to container, half chewed food and logbook defaced, no name in log but date is the same as the two DNF logs, location has also been marked by shoes over a nearby power line, removed for maintenance, will be replaced further up the hill
Third DNF in a row. I hope we were looking in the wrong spot, but possibly muggled.
Stopped at the bakery to buy lunch and then here to eat and take in the views .
Looking around, there are some kings living nearby, but they appear to have shielded themselves from the view [B)]. Go figure.
TNLNSL.
Thanks for another one Misterdrewkittytoo.

NUMBER 100 - epic day of caching!
Also my first travel bug find! Wonderful views!
Also my first travel bug find! Wonderful views!
Yay... finally found it & FTF in the new location (but not before being given a bit more of a run around)!! After a fairly traumatic DNF back in Aug (see below) I returned this morning in much better weather conditions & with only one Little Miss Bone Cruncher in tow. First we arrived at the GZ given by the Geocaching app on my smart phone but I soon realized that this was the exact same location as I had searched in Aug. I checked the cache co-ordinates on the phone & found that for some reason the app was still using the old ones. Fortunately, I had my old caching GPS on hand. After putting in the co-ords manually & found my self directed 130m further up the hill to what is actually a considerably nicer spot for the cache with better parking on the side of the road. The cache itself was quite easy to find (we also found & disposed of another bong).
Loved the view! Thanks misterdrewkittytoo.

Ouch... It hurts to log the first DNF for a cache (FDNF?)!! It was a cold & damp winter's arvo and I was (somewhat ambitiously) out caching with my two little Miss Bone Crunchers (4yo & 2yo) while Mrs Bone cruncher was otherwise engaged. We pulled up a this one just as a shower started. We found the bull ant nest noted by Nat057 below, but thankfully the inhabitants appeared to be hibernating. Then my 2yo got dog poo all over her shoe. By the time I had this adequately dealt with using baby wipes, the rain was pretty solid. I left the kids in the car & continued to search as the rain got heavier. Meanwhile the kids were celebrating the novelty of being unattended by trashing the interior. Frustratingly, both the GPS & smart phone said I was right on top, but stuffed if could see it. Once I was sufficiently cold, wet & grumpy, I called a retreat. I drove off into a downpour with my 4yo asking "Daddy are you crying?". We will return...
Indeed it is a view fit for a king. And a cacher or two..... Thanks for putting a cache here.
First attempt on this one was very interesting with my daughter being bitten by a bull ant
Second attempt was alot sweeter with the beautiful views and no bull ants in sight [^]

My GPS was going crazy at GZ! Kept changing it's mind on what side of the road I should be on. Spotted it soon enough. Dropped off a beautiful geocoin. TFTC!
A quick find.
Enjoyed the drive up and the view.
The cache was out in the open, so I put it back where I think it was meant to be.

If I was the King, I think I’d want it up the top of the hill where there is a view and somewhere safe to park. TNLN.
The name says it all, fantastic views. Finally found cache thrown over fence, Team Don't Panic Arthur carefully climbed barbed wire fence to retrieve and replace it in it's proper home....hopefully TFTC

Nice view. I know a few people who would like that nice collection of seasoned firewood across the road too

geoD elected to stay ion the gCAV with his floor on the brake for this one. geoP headed out and made a quick find. The views really were great this afternoon, despite the slight haze in the air.

Found it on the open ground which makes me think of mischief as the previous cache on this road appears to have disappeared. Placed it in a place I thought it might have been and applied cammo. Thanks for taking me to the view misterdrewkittytoo.
Got here just on sunset! What an amazing view! Left two dinosaurs and took a pony :3
Super easy find this morning before getting ready to head out and see the outlaws in Salisbury.
I agree with ShonkyLogic about not doing this one on the pushy as I normally do most of my caching on the Masi CX while on holiday and my knees ache remembering the hill!
Lots of that in this area though
Took bugbear TB

Great view,
and windy too!

The cache was in plain view so we made it a little less obvious.

A quick drive by with Mogni and CP Wanderer on a caching blitz where Mogni fired on all cylinders most of the day. Great view, would be even better at sunset. TFTC.
Found while out on a caching adventure with Aussie M & M and CPWanderer.

Find 167 of 178 for the day. Started at Midnight this morning with the Nxy challenge, and continued till midnight tonight in a 24 hour caching hunt with McKee Clan on our bikes, and then joined at 3:30am by Emily~Angel, swapping our bikes for a 4WD, and finishing at Maclaren Vale with 178 finds for the day for McKee Clan and I, and about 120 for Emily~Angel. Had a ball, but was glad to hug the pillow in the end. See the McKee Clan log for more info.

PS: I'm definately not caching tomorrow!! (I'm paving instead...)

Today we did a huge challange and achieved 178 caches in a 24 hour period starting at gawler on a bicycle at midnight and finishing at the mclaren vale in a car 24 hours later. Sweat, blood and laughter was part and parcel to find a cache every 8 minutes for 24 hours. We found this cache and thankyou for making our challange possible. We were assisted in our challange by emily~angel & dennisC52, Thanks guys you did a fantastic job. We had a ball and were very tired in the end, maybe I'll not cache tommorow hahaha.TFTCSL TNLN you should see our track from the GPS 320km driven in total for the day with 185 caches visited.
Our first cache for the day and what a fine view it was. Quick find. Thanks mr drewkittytoo.
As suggested, this is an easy find but we're sure the purpose of bringing us here is for the view. Thanks to misterdrewkittytoo.
Great spot! Enjoyed the views from here. Signed log and left a TB. TFTC misterdrewkittytoo.
Wow! Sure is a great view!
After having our picnic lunch in Willunga, (Xmas lunch that was) [with no sign of Yogi or Boo Boo, in fact not even Ranger Smith], we headed out of town in the quest of finding enough to take me over 700 GC.com finds.

FTF at 1.15pm. Certainly a view fit for a king and queen. Guess who forgot the camera!!! Left Australia Geocoin 2006. TN. Thanks misterdrewkittytoo for bringing us to this spot and the cache.
Saw this one pop up and with another newie nearby considered an outing with Jimmy01 worthwhile. Beaten by over an hour by Bregor for a ftf but enjoyed the journey and the views. Thanks again misterdrewkittytoo.
