Unfortunately after a second attempt we had to log this one as a DNF. Hopefully someone after us can confirm that it's still there. Felt like I reached as far as I could but might be a little further. Will come back when we get another chance.
Staying at Onerahi with cousins so This one we picked up on our early morning, COLD walk. It was a straight forward cache with a very helpful hint. Thank you for the cache and another smiley face.
Haha! It all makes sense now Another find while waiting for a friend of mine to do her first skydive. Thanks!
Collecting the ones I skipped before. Was worried I wouldn't find this one as I'm not good at this type of hide. Another really cool cache and easily found. Noooo!! Dropped my tablet. GZ was not conducive to this type of thing - screen all cracked. Will have to continue on with my phone. TFTC
On a mission this weekend with Cats&Dragons, with a the main goals of reaching Cape Reinga to find the Virtual caches up there and the 35 and 36 degree South challenges, plus with anything else in between. We had a great time touring around Northland, and it is a pretty spectacular place. Being from Southern Northland, it has reminded me that I need to visit this place more.
The initial plan was to head up the west coast and on to Ninety Mile Beach (which was a huge highlight of the trip) and then down the east coast, but the plan was flexible depending on progress. We mostly achieved our ambitious plan, but due to time restraints had to cut back a bit from the planned list. If we had another day I think we would of achieved most of what we had planned.
Some of the figures for the trip were, 1600km's travelled in a 48 hour period, 37 hours of caching, 4 hours of sleep, and 7 hours driving up from Hamilton and back, with a total of 176 caches found!!
Thanks to all the CO's for placing these caches and showing us around Northland.
I had a lot of fun solving this series, there were some well constructed puzzles. Struggled with most of the hides, as I usually struggle with these types of hides mostly. I think we got all but 5, but with the little sleep we had our patience to slowly work through the though hides only last so long. Thanks for the great puzzles.
Great container, worth a fav cause I was thinking of something completely different. Found a few meters from where the hint was leading us so relocated back to hint item.

Day 2 of our Waitangi weekend road trip to collect a few puzzle series of caches that we have solved over the last month or so - plus any other caches that we can find on the way!
Searched for a while and it wasn't until we were about to give up, that we found the little sucker!

Today we spent a full day of caching in the Whangarie area followed by a bit of sight seeing.
The caches we found today were all in great areas with wonderfull views of the harbour.
This was not the brick we were looking for. A favourite just for the enjoyment of the find.
Thanks for placing this cache Riser5
Last call of the day after a cool day's caching and not too many muggles about. TFTC
A very interesting cache container here which was easily found. A little wet inside but log nice and dry in its bag. Thanks for the variation in between the OC series.
First time I have come across a container like this - nice! And ties so nicely into the location and cache name. Very wet inside though - don't think it was closed properly last time and unforunately didn't have the opportunity to dry it out. Think I have closed it better and that it will not get more wet. TFTF.
Found as part of my Post Mega northen road trip. Really enjoyed a part of the country I hadn't seen before. Thanks to all those who have placed cacahes to encourage us southerners to come your way!
Apparently I looked like Gollum trying to find this one, but the hint really helped after a minute or two. Cheers!
Heading for the Mega this weekend. Searched for a while then checked the clue. Quick move along 5 mtrs and bang.. Found it. TFTC.
Nice hide.
Logged as RAD together with renelm and aedk.

I am not much of a logwriter, so see renelms, and possibly Difools, log for details.
TFTC!

I'm a big fan of Pink Floyd, and enjoyed another novel cache container. Thanks for the effort with all your hides, Riser5.
Quick find with the use if the hint. Nice cache container, but not waterproof as cache was soaking wet. Signed it (kind of) and replaced. TFTC !
taking a long walk around Onerahi trying to collect the OC puzzle series caches, so stopped to see if this might still be here; wanted to leave a TB but it would not quite fit- so giving them a "dip"
A spot of early morning final caching before the start of the work day, and a long drive back home. Streets very quiet around here which made for a trouble free exploreation of the GZ

On a walk around the coast road stopped for a quick find loved the clog container. TFTC
Called in to find this one whilst visiting a couple of the Puzzle caches nearby. - SL dipped trackable, replaced where found T4TC
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We are in my old home town of Whangarei visiting family for Easter and returned to Onerahi this Easter Monday to continue with the OC Caches and a few others. A quick find at GZ and an interesting cache container. Thanks for the cache!

Our first geocache! Very exciting great one. Kids were very very excited to find the pirate coin trackable, felt like real treasure.
Have just got home and checked the website, and now I'm really not sure what to do with this coin - it doesn't have a co-ordinate on it. Do I just pop it in another box, or put it back? Help!!! sorry for the noob moment!!

Quite easy. Good koordinates. And we had a terrific sunset after logging the cach. Thank you.
Followed the clue, found the brick!!! and off again to find some more puzzle caches. Thanks
Up north for the afternoon and just picking up some local caches before heading home. Spent a lot of time around Beach Rd in my younger days when my grandmother lived there. Nice pun here, not quite what I was expecting, but quickly found. TFTC!!!
Up here caching with Fencarrows - loved this cache and gives us some new ideas. TFTC
Out and about for a weekend of geocaching with SethRaven. Was a bit worried as we approached the GZ as I have had limited success in these environments. Loved this one and the sense of humour in the name. TFTC
Mini Mob was incharge of the GPS here so we drove past three times before stopping!!! A great Brick this one but no signal to phone home!! TFTC
Took a bit of finding as the brick was well back in the wall. I must say that I am glad that they don't make them like that any more. TFTC
Knew what we were looking for and have long arms! Dropped GC Mary Ann's Raven her as its near an air port and it is in a race to Tucson, Arizona. TFTC!
Blowing a gale and howling with rain = summer!! A great hide and quick find. Thanks.
The cache fell down further as I reached for it but all good in the end. definitely old school. TFTC #2663
Decided to take a detour from our original schedule to find some stray caches that have appeared in the area since our last visit. Expected a quick find but this one took a bit of a search before the well themed cache was revealed. We remember having something similar to this some years ago TFTC.
Found it eventually. Kids thought the 'brick' was pretty novel. Not sure how that will fit in a pocket!
Found with DeadRockFlower and 3 wee bucks. Now that is what I call a brick... TNLNSL. TFTC.
7099 An aptly themed cache… loved the humour of this one, many thanks for showing us another brick in the wall.
Some locals out for a morning walk though I had gone insane but 2 degrees helped me out. TFTC
4064 A great cache to bring a smile to our faces on our early morning trip around the beach front. TFTC
Lots of muggles today but we knew what we were looking for. Great idea, TFTC.
my 50th cache and what a fun one - lots of rocks and possible cache hidey holes - my tikitour mate had sussed this one but didn't give me the hint - guess we didn't need it Good use for all those old 'bricks' TFTC
Our oldest brick was even bigger than this one! Enjoyed the humour of this hide. Thanks.
