I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi MarMisThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
Been a few DNFs recently.
I looked for over 10mins including descending to fenceline etc.
Maybe MIA ??
It would be great if CO could confirm it's there, or if other cachers are able to confirm... maybe you're a local and can post a comment??
I don't come to Auckland often but may be able to look again in a few months time.

Looked for about a half hour everywhere I thought it would be and no luck. Maybe another day.
A thorough 30min search with no luck.
If someone does find it can you indicate which direction and how far off your GPS is and I’ll come back another day.

Came back a third time with support from the family. Spent quite some time in the area looking through leaves and trees, roots and other structures, under and over. Looking at the pictures, this has quite a decent size, so should be able to find, but don't. I might need a hint, please? Or has this been muggled also? Like the neighbouring "love to dance"?
Have been back a second time since I haven't found it yesterday. After checking other people's comments and the pictures, I still cannot find it. How hard can it be to find a briefcase this size around the area?
Pretty quick find, very big cache! Unfortunately the cache is soaked, the log book is luckily still dry though.
Cool hide, biggest one yet
My GPS was off by about 14m but have a look at people's pics and you'll find the spot

Had delivered the teen to college for the day, and had the boarder patrol pup in the car, so headed to the dog park at the Auckland Botanical Gardens knowing that there were 2 caches unfound here.....
Entered the dog park and no one was around...was a little early, as when it was time to leave everyone was arriving with their dogs.....it then took forever to get out ...
Cache was all good.
TFTC.

Out with dog walk Team SEAC and redound this one. Previously found as the Browne hornet. TFTC.
Nice find on our walk today. Tipped out all the water but log was dry enough to write on. Greetings from Wellington and TFTC.
Good find by side of motor way. Contents inside were all wet. May pay to bring your own log paper.
Absolutely awesome find left a very special trinket very wet though and very old might need a new pen
Was an easy find. Sadly not many trades but added a cute little cat. Thanks for the cache
A nice big cache container. Log is getting very damp. Easy find. Thanks for placing the cache
In Auckland for the Mega, time for a walk around the gardens. Thanks for the cache.
A nice sized cache, easy find but full of water, emptied and dried as best as we could. log is still relatively dry inside of its second container. Thanks for the cache
A lovely cache, probably the largest I’ve ever found! It’s very waterlogged, so I tipped water out and put small objects inside case to protect them a bit better. It’ll still need a good dry out though. TFTC and congratulations!
Just a quick stop off here for this cache and to get a look around before the rain.
Every time I pass by this billboard now I will think of this cache!
Cache is good condition overall. A bit damp.

Easy grab after a lovely walk in the wind. Left the pen in the car so had to do a second trip. Cache full of water and log very damp but all okay. Tftc
In the gardens on this beautiful sunny masked up day and enjoyed the walk around, as we always do. I'd run a PQ before leaving in case we passed by any options and this was one that was possible. Headed along and through the conifers and up and along the bank to search. Retraced my steps to the advertising signboard and the cache was easily located nearby, nice one. Added my name on a dryish page and replaced cache as found. Thanks for this cache MarMis.
Nice walk to find it. Box was half full of water, but log was semi dry in another box inside it
Been in Auckland for a few days visiting family. Today enjoyed a stroll around the Botanical gardens. Great that we could bring the geo hound. Quick find. Log a bit damp but still able to sign it. Thanks for the smiley.
That was very fun weather has got into box log is all wet but it is still their ....hint its not that black rat trap
Got it
Lovely day in the big city so we decided to go to the gardens for a stroll
With the wife and little baba.
Little bit of the beaten track but easy find.
Bit of water in the box with a couple of residents ( slugs ) they were soon evicted
And sent on there way.

Thanks MarMis for the cache. It’s #1300 for us. We found your cache on 5 July 2020. Found after a brief search. Main container waterlogged but inner boxes dry. Log dry. Grabbed a trackable.
Thank for the cache. Sneaky spot and keen 7yo eyes spotted it. Left one of our taupō rocks as a treasure.
Thanks for the hides along our walk in the gardens today. Great area and quiet other than the road.
Last day in town and had an hour to spare en route to the airport so took a short detour through the botanic gardens. Good ting I packed my brolly for this trip.
We walked the beautiful Botanic Garden and also looked for some cache. This one was a very special place.

Well, that’s not the cache I was expecting and it’s a lot more exciting and interesting than I was expecting to find. Hellish noisy place, but at least no muggles are going to come here.
It got noisier and noisier as I approached GZ. A container of the size of this one needs quite a big place to hide it. I followed my GPS with no success. Then something caught my eye in another place – it was the cache! We sign in and logged a triumph. TFTC
Find number 6660. I had looked for this one once before but was not successful. Back today for a second look. This time I approached from a different direction and quickly spotted the hide. So pleased to tick it off this time. Thank you for the placement.
An amazing find. Hidden well but not too difficult. Was a hesitant to open as thought it was a rat trap. Congrats to almost 10 years of marriage
Was a beautiful find will leave something when I return. Great little story. Easy enough to locate and such a cute spot to go.
Found this along our Te Araroa thru-hike. A lovely cache; we too have a wedding cache hidden back home in New Hampshire (the United States). Thanks!
Wow after a second attempt today we were greeted by two colourful parrots that was so beautiful, we knew this time we were going to find it guess what we did so happy an sad at the same time I have taken it upon myself to take this home dry everything an put them back where it belongs love this find respect too the married couple..this will be back in a couple of days..
Took a little while but found. Just a snap lock plastic bag not an army camp bag.
Out for a day geocaching in the Totara Park/Botanical Gardens. Looked around for a while, then read some of the logs, after that it was just zeroing in on the cache. The GPS co-ords were a bit off. TFTC.
Found today while enjoying the evening sun. This was an easy find after we checked some previous logs and had a look at some of their pictures. All good and dry. TFTC
Found together with Pyphant and Greenkiwikids and signed as team Piraten. Wow, don't underestimate how loud it is right beside the motorway... Interesting to see the traffic pass by, thanks for bringing us here. TFTC
YES! One step closer to the next souvenir. We love it.
