Possibly Muggled. Area getting busy with builders. Maybe relocate under seat instead of in garden. Chrs
Had to drive by without stopping today. A house is being built directly above GZ and the builders were already intrigued by my stop/start visit to the burbs. You'd think by 1715 they could have downed tools and b.....ed off.
Together with my family on a vacation trip to New Zealand. Starting at Auckland airport on transfer to Christchurch we went for a roundtrip exploring the south island. This was one of many caches we found while visiting so many nice and interesting places thanks to all the caches why I want to send a thank you to all CO for the work spent. TFTC.
Slowly this area is filling in but it will be a few years before all the straeet are really needed.
Plan A failed today. Plan B was to cache up around Kaikoura. Had a great day, thanks for the hide.
Decided to go down to Dunedin to attended the first ever Mega in New Zealand and my first ever MEGA. Managed to work it out so that I was able to team up with -gonefishing-, fozzmiester and agcnz on an 9 day caching trip around the South Island, this was day 9 of the road trip - our final day. Today we were making our way form Christchurch to Picton to take the Ferry home back to Wellington.
After finding GC405V9 - Ludley Track High (Marlborough), we decided that we would make an attempt on balance of the new caches that wasnt too far away, as we neared GZ we soon managed to spot the hint object and we soon managed to go where the GPSr was pointing us and once there we had a closer look we soon realised that it was the cache.
Managed to retrieve the cache, signed and then replaced the cache back where we found it. Thanks bumandworker for placing this cache here and for bringing us to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (5383). This was a very lovely and enjoyable walk around Ludley Farm track, loving every minute of this walk.
Now it is time to make our way to the next cache in the area and get some more caches before having to go and catch the ferry home.....

Found as part of an epic NZ Mega Event trip. Day 9 - Home. Christchurch to Picton before catching the ferry back to Wellington. Thanks to the owners of the 500 + caches which I had the pleasure to find along the way and which contributed to a very fun trip.

Found on the great post-Mega roadtrip with agcnz, fozzmiester and yeetrees. A great trip from Otago to Wellington, taking in many backroads and some fantastic scenery along to way to over 400 caches. Thanks to all the cache owners for the great caches we found on the way.
Thanks for the cache, bumandworker.

#4313. The new caches tempted us into the area, and this was found after the new ones. Lots of space for new houses to soak up the great views. TFTC.
Good opportunity to pick up this cache as we were in the area for the newly published ones. Unfortunately, we didn't have the co-ords for Kekeno Park (it had been published since our downloads had been created), so missed out on that cache.

I wonder how many of these sections have been sold,a great spot for a breather
TFTC. What a great back road we travelled to get here. Fantastic views in all directions and a nice seat to sit and sign the log. The train even drove by.
Came up to Kaikoura for a wee weekends break...and to check out the seals. Hard to resist grabbing a few caches along the way. Out and about in the early evenings cool dark; managed to snag a FTF on a newbie in South Bay...figured there may have been enough moonlight to try for this. Great spot with great views. Quickly cornered the cache. Nice one. Thanks.
Nice area and views, I wonder if there will still be great views once the development has been completed tftc
For the last few times I have driven past here I have looked at my topo map and assumed that the cache would be a bit of a hike. This time I looked at my street map and realised that there was a whole new subdivision here that doesn't appear on the topo map, and that the cache is essentially a drive-by. A great spot for a cache and a very pleasant vista from GZ. Signed log, TFTC and for showing me this area!
Grabbing a few caches in the area while passing through on our 'how ever long it takes' NZ tour.
Thanks for setting this up.

4436. The nineteenth cache find on the fifth day of our six day geocaching tour around Hanmer and Kaikoura in our campervan. An interesting little drive during a day of geocaching in and around Kaikoura township. What a lovely subdivision! A quick find. Thanks, Rodney and Iris.
There was a neat view from here, but it was too cold to linger. Lots of new roads in his flash area so it is now almost a drive by. Thanks.
The new suburb is coming along nicely.Nice spot for a Cache, thanks for bringing us up here.TFTC
What a great place this area will be once there is more housing. Pity it is only at the very top near the cache that you can see the sea. Kiwicampnut

I like this area as it is now. It sure looks attractive. But once the project is complete, it might not be so beautiful.
Great views all round. I'm not sure things are selling as fast as they had expected though. TFTC #2346
A great subdivison being developed here with some great views. Or it would have been if the weather was kinder. TFTC
Great stopping place for lunch on a fresh, clear, cold day with little wind. TNLN. TFTC.
Isn't it useful how new subdivisions put in perfect spots for a cache? Great views to go with it. Thanks.

Man this was a wet find. The southerly with a cold bitter wind and biting rain was not much fun whilst finding the cache. The things we do! Cheers Gav [7609]
[ At 9:00 NZST, passing by on way to Christchurch. Nice interesting spot and an easy find. TFTC ]
Took a bit of finding the reserve. Should have looked at the map. Lovely spot. TFTC
Time I stopped driving past this one. Pitch black here at night. Great views of the peninsula and the stars. TFTC.
Found this one on our 4 weeks holiday in the South Island.
A long way from home in the Coromandel

What a neat looking new subdivision. I wondered about the price of the sections. Those large round rock(?) balls must have cost a fair bit.
Greeted by and chased by two very enthusiastic dogs who were very happy when we got out of the car to look for the cache. They proceeded to run around GZ slobbering and jumping everywhere. Luckily we had a quick find and car-tailed it out of there as quick as with the dogs hot in pursuit. Don't think they are long for this world if they continue this hobby. Luckily they gave up before we reached SH1. TFTC.
Its definitely awhile since we have been down this road as there was only a few houses here last time - they have certainly made this a lovely area with nice little parks and some nice views - found easily signed log thanks for the cache
Last time down this road think we could have counted the buildings on one hand A great spot to sit and sign a log TFTC
1230hrs It's worth the drive to see the area. The Italian Job was here......! Our blog www.motorhominginxs.blogspot.com
Despite Bo's aversion to tussock grass this cache was quickly located and signed. Gorgeous views from the top and we had a great fine day too, but that wind would drive you nuts.

Found this Ullis Glueckscoin here. Will take it on our trip to some nice places
Nice little reserve. Perfect place for our Pukeko travel bug to viist. Our second cache on our big heading north Guzzi trip.
Lots of land sections for sale here takes away from the scenic views. Better to visit here now than in 5 years time I guess
Nice development but definitely missing the great views of the other new subdivision.

Stayed at this place the last time we visited Kaikoura.. Its grown quite substantially since then... Took a while to find the cache.. Searched there and didn't find it and then searched again and there is was in plain view.. Thanks for the cache and views
Quick find. Developer`s egos and pockets must be hurting, or did they flick it off in time? TFTC.
Woohoo!! Ellie's first solo cache find while we watched from the comfort of the seats. Nice spot but sales appear to be pretty slow.
Thanks.
Thanks.
3TF on our journey south after 3 weeks in the North Island. Interesting to drive on the very new roads.

I'm sure this will be developed into a nice estate, but at present most is just a concept. We were able to drive to within 10m of the cache. Quick find. Dropped off East Anglia cachers geocoin. SL. TFTC.
