The JAMS (JJ52, allister w, mogni, sir_spectre) crew went on a Yorkes Adventure. There were a few targets for the weekend, including finishing the fishing line, hosting a CITO, clearing a few DNF's and just having some fun.
All caches were left better than we found them.
Thanks

Out with the JAMS crew for a weekend down the York's. The JAMS members along this weekend were JJ52, Allister w, Mogni and Sir_spectre. We came to finish off the last of the finish line for all of us and then goto a CITO event i was hosting near Kalpara. JJ52 and Allister W were target some certain cache types for the hard sounvier online bage. After Finishing the fishing line geoart we cached along the coast to Edithburgh and still only got to Edithburgh for dinner. Saturday was a cooler day for power trailing and only 1 snake was sighted, sunday started off cold but soon turned in to nice caching weather. We stopped for lunch in Stansbury on the way home.

Another great winters day out with iluvtrekking picking up finds around Edithburgh. Used Uni and Medusa’s co-ords to make quick find. Thanks for the hide.
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventur. We set off in sunshine today, a perfect day for Geocaching. TFTC
We are staying at Sultana Point for a few days with caching outings high on the agenda.
We decided on a trip to Port Moorowie for an explore.
We groaned a little when we saw GZ, but thankfully the cache was in hand pretty quickly
Thanks Rocky Glen Grommets (and Dazzatron/Margieh).

Replaced container as other one was destroyed and added old log book to new container as heaps of room left in book
A short stop here today, managed to find the cache nicely hidden and all is well
With 2.5 days free and nothing to do, what better than to head to the yorke peninsula for a few days. I made a plan of trying to clean up majority of the caches on the peninsula going from cache to cache. Managed to come away with only a few left and 247 finds for the few day trip.
Thanks for the cache

Our 3rd days break in Edithburgh away from the rat race. A quickish find however as previously noted it does Need some TLC as the container is lidless. Thank you for the placement of the Farmer Bally Wire cache Rocky Glen Grommets maintaind by Dazzatron/Margieh find number 8597 on 3 November 2021 at 3:49 pm
With the help of a passing farmer on her tractor who obviously knew what I was doing and pointed a little further down from where I was looking. Thanks
Day 2 of our holidays, saw us caching along the coast line, cliff climbing, finding old ruins and travelling down many dirt roads. As at 4pm we are back at camp having a well earned rest before dinner and possibly more caching. TFTC

I have come over to Yorkes with Madham02 for a couple of nights staying in Wool Bay and today was our full day so we headed off for a drive with the sun shining and no wind or rain. [^] I had made a list of caches I wanted to find and at the end of the day had 21 finds and 2 DNF's. It was a fun day driving around on dirt roads looking at lots of old buildings and ruins.
The tea rooms were closed today so we headed off to find the cache...rocks...did I say I didn't like rocks. Lucky for us it didn't take too long to find, thankfully.
Thanks for the cache Rocky Glen Grommets.

On a day if arctic blustery conditions we set out to cache! Well why not? Better than sitting snuggled up in a camper all day. Heard the roosters and saw the black and white sheep and found a cache Tftc
Facing yet another day of an extreme heatwave, so we slowed down the caching hunt for the day, along with ilook4geo.
It was much appreciated when we found a cache near shade where the signing could be done in a bit more comfort. Only did a short run around Warooka and Yorketown, picking up a few of the caches available. Thanks go to the CO for placing this cache, which was easily found after spotting some colour and whose log was duly noted with two more initials.

Phew! Another stinker of a day! Still went out caching with goingplaces2, but put less on the list. It was just too hot to be a lot of fun. Had a good hunt and came up with the goods here. TFTC.
Off down the Yorke for a few days with Purrfect Di, Jack, Sebastbat, muggle Alex and Chloe the geodog (cat's crazy staff).
Celebrating Di and Matty's birthdays with a few scenic caches.
Found this cache along the way.

With the wind eased right off this morning the only issue might be rain today, but even then that should only be passing light showers.
So we are back out chasing caches again!
This time we are again heading south from Edithburgh but inland towards Port Moorowie. Very interesting countryside, all the lakes that randomly pop up add to the character of the surrounds.
On arrival we saw sheep, horse, alpaca and heard an over excited rooster.
Took a few minutes to find in amongst all the camo!

Cache was quite exposed so easy to find. I covered it a bit more to protect it and provide a little challenge without trying to be too difficult. TFTC
Today we explored Port Moorowie to Foul Bay and surrounds using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find at GZ.

Nice place to partake of Devonshire tea during the pressure of a June long weekend cache event.
#2460 Mmmm the thought of good ol' fashion scones, jam and cream sounded appealing at the nearby tea rooms. Surely they serve them? we didn't enquire today. TFTC Rocky Glen Grommets.
I don't know what lives on this farm !!
I was trying to keep a very low profile as I stopped by the olde 'billy cart' looking for a cache
Which I found nice and quick and shot off up the road
The thoughts of 'tea rooms' send shivers down me spine [:o]
That's olde people stuff !!
The stuff me dear olde Mum loves [^]
But me mum is not with me on this trip around the Yorke,
so I wanted to get outa there as fast as possible

Unfortunately the farm was closed when we arrived but we did have a very friendly black dog come out to say hello to us.
First we must appologise for the generic logs.
We came to Yorke Peninsular with Speedmistress who hails from Queensland to cache our little hearts out and this we are doing.
We solved loads of puzzles prior to coming and with all the earth, multi, trads and puzzles there are here we were never lacking in variety.
When we found caches that needed repair we have done our best to do what was possible, unfortunately we have now rum out of spare containers, so no more repairs can be done. We have enjoyed the scenery, the walks, the animal life and the challenges that was encountered while traveling the Peninsular. Not all the caches have been attempted due to time restraints but those have been earmarked for future visits.
We also would like to thank Speedmistress for supplying our geocaching chariot.
A huge thanks to all the cache owners for placing these caches for us to enjoy.

On this occassion, I am doing a generic log. I have travelled from Queensland to meet up with Muff1 for a Geocaching extravaganza on the beautiful Yorke Peninsular. Our goal to Cache, Cache and Cache. Each day our "finds" have been growing in number, some days more productive then others. We have also been careful to take time to appreciate the natural wonder of the areas we have visited. The variety of caches was interesting, some very clever, some the quick grab they were designed to be. A big thank you to all of the dedicated Cache placers who have made this possible.
Today they were having a garage sale, we didn't stop though. On our way home the long way from a fantastic weekend in pt Turton. Tftc sl.
Camped at Yorketown, and Konie joined us on a loop drive to Port Moorowie & Coobowie.
We visited some lovely locations, & picked up a good variety of caches on our travels
Added our names to names to the logs, and it was off to the next one.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Rocky Glen Grommets, for us and others to find.

Off to YP for the weekend with muggle partner and Brodie and what an interesting weekend it was!
Luckily yesterday's rain had almost blown away and the day was much nicer today: windy at times but clearer and nice and cool after all our recent heat
We said Hi to Ozibags in the morning as he had been in the room next to us, then we headed out caching prior to returning to the hotel for tonight's tea event.
After tea, Goodlook, Ozibags and I went out and did some night caching as you do!
Overall I had 4 DNFs (but 2 of those were later found), 1 event attended and 25 cache finds today.
Interesting spot and we saw a dog's tail disappearing over the hill, then saw our dog Brodie returning after he had followed the other dog
Seems old age is allowing Brodie to access his rural instincts as he got under that fence more easily than he ever has before
As there was no cache container here, I have put the log book and swaps into a small Sistema.
Sorry but I was out of regular or large ones and thought any container may be better than the plastic bag.

Day six of the short holiday with Bettyboo3747.
A very strong South-Easterly has been blowing, so we took the car and travelled in the wind along the South coast. Down to the lighthouse, across to Port Moorowie, then completed the loop back through Yorketown for supplies for the next few days, and home to Point Sultana.
Not so sure about that good old fashioned hospitality - there was a very big CLOSED sign outside today.
The container has a broken top, but someone has placed it in a plastic bag. The logbook is still fine.
Thanks, Robmc.

8760. The south-easterlies were still blowing strongly this morning so we packed our warmest gear and headed for a drive along the coast and back through Yorketown gathering caches along the way. The wind wanted to blow the pom-poms clean off the top of my hat - it gets pretty wild around here!
Farmed Ballywire had a big CLOSED sign on the gate today. The only animals spotted were a couple of horses, one large pink pig and some sheep in the distance. No farmer sighted. We did find a cache with a severely broken lid. So many rocks, but thanks to the sight of a blue plastic bag we soon had the log book in hand. Popped everything back in the bag ond off to the next one.
Thanks. Rocky Glen Grommets

Today was day seven of the ahomburg and sharkiefan 2015 road trip to South Australia. We managed to find all but one of the geoart over the last three days, so we had some unfinished business with Sammy Starfish 20. we also wanted to check out Innes National park and surrounding area, followed by some areas further north east in the Yorktown region and surrounds. We managed to pick up many Traditionals, a couple of Multis, the all important Mystery cache for the Souvenir on offer and even found an Archived cache in our Travels. Despite a bit of rain over the day, had a fantastic time, almost covering the whole lower part of the peninsula. Afraid when we got here it was pretty much dark, so no animals to see. Did find the cache tho!!

Ice cream and ice cream cones, why not when we have a Engle car fridge as a freezer so you can do anything while camping. TFTC

After doing the Fishy Tale caches the week before and had such a great time on the peninsula, we see there are many caches scattered all over the place so we decided to spend a couple of days here cleaning up all the caches here, many roads were traveled with some awesome views along the coastline, the weather was just right for us and along the way we saw quite a few sleepy lizards but no snakes, we look forward to getting the other caches on the peninsula as it is such a beautiful spot here.
