As we arrived at GZ, the container was lying out in the open, next to what clearly was meant to be its hiding spot...In any case, this was a quick and easy find.TFTC!
Thought the mountain air would help with our colds. Turns little we are just cold
Oh yay, my favourite things. Blackberry vines and cliff edges. Found it despite these. Thanks for the cache
Got the info, on the way to Bright. Now on the way back we made the find.Must of done something wrong with our number, but found it anyway.Out caching with D@geo
Found with gwd.aussie.Travelled over the mountains to tackle the HSS Basketball Geoart before it gets archived soon . Collected the information on the way through doing the sums while staying in Bright before making the find on our way back over the mountain. Thanks AussiePuschaks
With Mr 4WD Shed running the GSER feom Harrietville I headed into Bright for an early morning Parkrun. Quick easy find on the way into Bright at a interesting little location. Tftc!
Found It!
Some interesting history here. Collected the numbers then headed off to GZ for a quick find. Just watch out for all the prickly things growing around the cache.

Week away in Bright with Bogonghazy. Lovely spot. Thanks for placing the geocache
Took me a while to get back to find this after taking photos of the signs. Log was a teeny bit wet but still okay. Emptied water from container.
So busy gazing at the snow capped peaks whike we nutted out the clues we almost forget to go find the actual cache easily found and all in good order though a little damp - but isn't everything these days

A nice and easy multi to solve. Once I worked out the coordinates it was a quick walk to GZ.
It took me a while to find the cache. The gps was bouncing around.
Beautiful views of what is left of the snow on the mountain. TFTC

Lovely little afternoon lockdown drive for a change of scenery… nice views of the snow and great information on boards. Cache as per calculation. Ziplock a little wet as well as damp lower third of the nice notebook. Dried as best I could, otherwise all good. TFTC!
Rex and I headed to Wandiligong to catch up with a former work colleague[^]
By the time we got there, everyone had a late lunch as it was about 3pm and I had only stopped for 1 cache find[?]
After lunch, I took Carolin and her sister Helen out to find the traditional cache at the Big Trees[^] then we dropped Helen back at the house[^] while Carolin and I went back out to find the Chinese swing bridge multi[^]
Once we dropped Carolin back, Rex and I found 4 more caches for the total of 7 finds today.
We then slept at the Snowy Creek Picnic Ground[^][|)] close to a cache that I had found in April 2015
As Rex and I headed out of town to sleep[|)][|)], I saw this multi on the map so we came out to make this our last find for the day[|)][^]
Read the boards[^], did the maths[^], made the find[^] and I was very excited to end the day with a PT and sticker left behind by The Empire[:X][^]

This is the last leg of an unexpected journey that took us to Canberra, Goulburn, Wagga and now we are wandering our way home still trying to pick up as many Adventure labs as we can and of course anything else that is nearby.
Looking at the scenery here and the way that you get to them you could spend a lot of time up here just playing around. Unfortunately we are many years passed any serious walking but are more than happy to drive especially in countryside like this. We collected the required information and then headed off to get a slightly different view of the magnificent mountains.
We searched for a little while when Diane came up with the container and the log book now contains our name.
Thanks Aussie Puschaks for the cache.

We were heading back from Harrietville and we stopped here to have a look at the view and to read the information on the signs for this cache. After obtaining the information and retreating to the comfort of the car to work out the coordinates, it seemed everybody stopped here! We sat for a while and in between traffic I headed off for a look. I was glad to find it quickly and didn't spend too long in a snakey area! TFTC AussiePuschaks!
After a run in with a baby brown snake looking under rocks we bailed out with a DNF
Cache checked, new logbook, pen and swag enclosed and replaced in its location. Happy caching everyone.
We drove to GZ and retrieved the info needed then scurried off to find the cache. We found it very well hidden as after a couple of months of not being disturbed, the surrounding nature takes over.
We’ve driven past so many times but have never stopped to read the signs. So glad we did today. Needs a new log book.
Needs a new logbook soon. Lovely rest stop(table & view) cycling to Harrietville. Not much snow left on this side of Mt Feathertop.
Great information on sign. Nice seeing some snow on Mt Feathertop. Put a new log sheet to sign. Tftc
sjg66 and I were staying at Bogong Village (which I recommend) for a few days and decided on a day trip to Harrietville. We enjoyed the variety of caches along the way. Thanks for the CO's for hiding them.
We decided a while ago we needed a night in Bright so we booked a motel a few weeks ago. We had a couple of appointments so it was a later start than I hoped so the original intention of heading up Buffalo was replaced with a couple of short walk near the base and then into town where I had 1.5 hours exploring while the kids amused themselves in the pool.
After dropping gear at the motel I then had some time to look for a few more caches. Did not have the time to get to Harrietville but did head down the toad a bit of the way. This was the first attempted and the numbers easily found but my dodgy maths tried to turn it into a T3. Recalculated and then quickly found the cache. Log signed and then further south.

Departing Bright and for the first time heading east - all the way today! We haven't gone too far yet, but one of the nicest clearest days we've had all week and the views are awesome. Great to grab a relatively quick cache as well. Cheers.

For us, it was a pathway from the summit. And thanks to the pioneers and workers, it was really easy going Here we stopped and got more information about the amazing roadwork in this area. - Thanks for the box!
Sadly we can’t be sure we in the right spot as the great big black snake wouldn’t allow us to get close enough.

**# 23525** Found on a cooler cloudy day for a drive around while at Bright.
Lots of muggles on bikes and holidays still around town today.
Mostly good safe hides and mainly quick finds.
It was partly exposed again, so I left it well covered now.

a nice short multi in the evening before heading to a camp spot nearby. TFTC!
Stopped off here after spending some time at the snow. Had already grabbed the info needed on a previous visit, so it was a quick park and grab on this occasion. Not much of a view, as there was too much fog and low cloud. Will definitely drop in again and check it out, when passing again sometime. Found a little TB here but it doesn't appear to have been logged, so I will put it back into circulation.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. As of the start of 2018 my average was only 47 words per log, which seems a long way from the 100 target. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 7000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 50 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.
Thanks AussiePuschaks for placing the cache for us to find.

An early start to the day to get a few caches before the family woke. I saw that this Multi was en route and looked like it would be a short distance to GZ so made the trip out. Still plenty of cyclists at 5:30am! Thans AussiePuschaks for the cache.
Excellent simple multi plus history. Worth to come. Signed with crank1 and pwala. Thanks for the cache and hunt
Out to Albury this morning with Crank1 and Everlasting with beautiful warm/hot weather. Now on way to home via different route in wet weather. Interesting history. TFTC & puzzle.. A fav from me.
Lived in this valley for some time, so nice chance to revisit some early history. Second try after recalculation! Grrrrr. Plan to do a sixer - that is 6 x multis today so here goes. TFTC
What a beautiful spot and fascinating history. Did the calculations and made a quick find. TFTC and a FP
Out to grab some caches this afternoon and this was to be #2 . Really pleased with myself for solving quickly and correctly then hobbling across to grab the cache. Pity about the blackberries but all good. TFTC TNLN SL
Exploring Mt Buller and up to the horn with my "over geocaching" family. Walked the 1.5kms from where we are staying at the van park for extra steps.
Had no pressure, "Hurry up Dad!!" from kids and this gave me a rare opportunity to read and absorb the info.
With coords to GZ punched in, walked over to make an instant find. Nice views too. Thanks AussiePuschaks

Out & about on another geocaching adventure, it's been a while. Caches around Bright are on the agenda for today. Cache requires new log book. Added temporary paper with signature.
This was a quick multi, though I almost didn't find the box because it was lying under the long grass, open and with all the swaps strewn around. I put everything back in and the lid on, but couldn't find any logbook anywhere, so put in the piece of paper I was making my notes on. Thanks for this one!
#201! Found on our way back from a weekend at Mt Hotham. Some interesting information and cache was quickly found after doing the sums. This should give is Mission GC souvenir 2. TFTC!
This is my official 100 th cache find. Worked out the GZ while enjoying lunch at the Harrietville hotel. Helps to take photos of the boards on the way. A quick find on our return to Bright with a magnificent skyline in the background. Tftc.
#1940 Ahead of schedule for a nearby meeting it was easy to think of something to fill in a bit of time, caching of course! Amazing the effect of getting one digit wrong in a multi. Once on the right set of numbers, the cache was found quickly. Not making pathways to summits today, just as well, it would be ice freezing, windy and generally unpleasant up in dem hills today. TFTC AussiePuschaks.
In Bright visiting family, what better way to spend the day than geocaching, tftc my maths was a bit poor and had me over the cliff at first, a retry and made a quick find.
The amount of times we have driven past this WP in the past and promised ourselves we would get it on the way home........
Today we decided to put it of no longer and it we stopped on the way to Harrietville. We read the signs and gathered the numbers while taking in some of the view. We entered the new numbers into the GPSr and after waiting for a few cars to pass collected the cache.

I was here this weekend for the National Mountain Bike Championships, and after today's racing we went for a little drive, and this was a cool place to stop. After initially being dyslexic with the first number I worked out where I was going wrong and made a quick find.

Found with Sharkiefan and FUF009 on our second day of using caching to guide us around the Ovens Valley area. Yesterday we did the HVPowerTrail and today we've been to Mt Buffalo, Myrtleford, Harrietville for dinner and we've been nightcaching our way back to Porepunkah since.
Another interesting wayside stop with some interesting historical information. The required numbers were quickly gathered and the cache found soon after. We much prefer short multis like this that bring you to information boards and encourage you to read, rather than being taken straight to a traditional cache and miss the info with cache blindness. Thank you for another good cache Aussie Puschaks.

Up in the Alpine Country with sharkiefan and chooknchunk for the long weekend.
Yesterday we went on the Power trail hunt. Today we went for Height, sights and hidden local knowledge.
After caching on the top of Mount Buffalo and turning a number of icons to smilies in Myrtleford, we headed off to Harrietville for a good pub feed and some more caching, all be it by night.
On our way home we stoped for a couple of road side finds.
after getting a good set of numbers we were off, where a quick find was made

TFTC. We had been up here yesterday to read the information boards and collect the information to calculate GZ. I knew I was riding to Harrietville in the morning and would be riding along here. We made the required calls back in camp.
This morning ride out and waited at the top of the hill for a couple of slower riders. While waiting I quickly retrieved the cache and signed the log. Before too long we resumed the ride to the coffee shop inHarrietville. Missed the rain while having coffee and a pleasant ride back to Bright.

Found during a one-week roadtrip, caching around Mt Buffalo and surrounds.
I'm trying to find as many multis as possible at the moment, so this one was obviously on my radar too.
While driving from Harrietville to Myrtleford I stopped here to read the information boards about the pathways, and to pick up the multi. At times like this I enjoy these simpler offset multis - they work flawlessly.
Thanks, AussiePuschaks.

Found on our way back from Bright whilst staying in Harrietville. TFTC and the history lesson
Oh dear, two ex-teachers and we couldn't get it correct! Ladybug had forgotten what a vehicle was and consequently recorded the incorrect date!! When I recalculated, my maths was a little sloppy and we had to have a third try!!! Successful in the end and made an easy find. Added a trademark "ladybug" object to the cache contents. Thanks AussiePuschaks for the history lesson and the cache - our 4th on a lazy holiday afternoon.
Together with Silli1310 went on vacation for a year. After we had visited South America for a quarter of a year, explored New Zealand in detail, it should of course also go to Australia. Since ElMapa also wanted to go there, we met in Melbourne and explored Tasmania on a road trip together. Afterwards we went for a week to the Great Ocean Road and the Grampiens, which reminded us a bit of our home country. Afterwards we parted ways and together with Silli1310 we started our road trip along the east coast up to Darwin. The first goal was to get to know the Alps and our camper. We enjoyed the independence and the always impressive views. Even though the Alps are not like the European Alps, we found them beautiful and calming. Besides all the driving, we of course tried to find a cache every once in a while to squeeze in a walk or to stretch our feet a bit. Today we wanted to get to somewhere before Harritville to climb Mt. Feathertop tomorrow. Here we immediately took the chance and "planned" our next days by means of the information on the information board. Along the way we collected the necessary values for the final, where after a short search we were able to find the can and record our presence in the logbook. Many thanks for the informative cache - our last cache for today.
On our [trip around the world](http://www.hoppundweg.piekar.de/) we came to Australia as well. We started in Tasmania, rented a campervan in Melbourne and went up the Eastcoast to Cairns. Then we drove all the way to the Red Centre. We finished in Darwin. We searched many caches and found almost every cache we searched for . Thanks to all the owners of these caches. Now, 2 years later, we recognized, we will never be able to log every cache seperately... So: Sorry for this standard logtext and thanks for one of the caches, which accompanied us on our journey.

In glorious sunshine, this is one of a wide variety of caches we found while out and about with Liz and Bruce. We started at Myrtleford, travelled up the Ovens Valley as far as Smoko, stopping by the river for lunch and visiting a number of lookouts such as this one, with spectacular views.

We were able to find this cache while out exploring the area around Bright with Phetlern. A glorious sunny day displayed the area to its best though an Autumn visit is something we would like to do. Nice one. Thanks to AussiePuschaks for placing this cache.
Find 1361 at 18:06. I was out caching with heardrwt on a day trip from Bright to Mount Hotham (mainly to escape the heat) and we managed to collect 7 caches on this run. This was our final find for the day.
I've driven past this spot many many times on various runs up Mount Hotham but never stoped to read the signs. Interesting to read a little history about the development of the roads through here. Thanks for the cache, AussiePuschaks!

Found at 12:41 PM GAFF1. On our way to The Hotham Gamble event we decided to take the opportunity to rest the Patrol after dragging the van along this steep road.
Fascinating story of the work to get across the alps and as usual - you just had to ask the indigenous people!

Was heading to Harrietville today just coruzin in the sun and we saw the pull over as a great place to stop and grab a photo of what snow was left on the hills in the horizon.
I looked at the notice board as I pulled up next to it and realized I had seen a cache by the that name Had a quick look on the gps and yes, correct - o - mondo!! Pathways to the Summit multi cache - cool. Gathered the required info and made the quick calculation and we trotted off to GZ. Cache was found nicely ticked away just waiting to be opened Thanks for the fun, little bit of a history lesson in an awesome spot, Cheers! [^]

[:(!] What better way of spending the day but to do a bit of caching and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, took note of what was on the information boards, sat in the geocar and worked out the co-ordinates while it was spitting and then it was of to GZ, on arrival at GZ , the cache was located, it was then in hand in a matter of minutes.
I love it

I rolled into the parking bay and headed for the info signs
A quick search revealed .... no caches [:o]
A little voice in me head said "It's a multi-cache, If !".
I checked the cache notes ... yep !!
I wandered back to the geomobile and read the notes.
Ah ha !!
With some new coords I headed off to find the cache.
I found the cache before I got to GZ [:o]
the box was sitting there out in the open with the lid a few feet away.
Damn muggles
I picked up the bits and found that almost everything was probably still in the box, except for the logbook
So with a new logbook put into the plastic baggie, I rehid the cache where it belonged .... behind the pile of toilet paper and human excrement [xx(]
Well I guess that explained how the muggle found it !! [:o]
TFTC and the valuable information for any traveler heading into the alps
