Unfortunately like the rest we could not find it either. Its probably going to need a CO inspection to replace
So if I can't find a cache and I know I'll get the chance to try again I don't bother DNF-ing it. But this was my 3rd attempt and the area has been badly storm damaged. Big trees gone. Access steps all wonky. Can the cache owner please checks the cache is still there? Cheers
#2338 A quick find on this warm day in Auckland. Spotted GZ quickly. Grabbed trackable. Will bring it back home. Interesting area here. TFBMH.
I wished, but it didn't happen. Love bird muggles camped at GZ and there was no access to be had.
I'll have to come back.

I was over this way after work so decided to collect some caches in the area. Thanks for a fun cache, quick find with not to many muggles this afternoon. Dropped off TB, TFTC
We didn't know this walkway was here so enjoyed an evening walk exploring the area and picking up a few caches along the way. No muggles in sight tonight, probably all at home getting ready for Guy Fawkes.
Nice hiding spot, TFTC.

The kids had been pestering yo come to the new playground at Eric Armitage park , so I decide to take a quick stroll along the waterside. Tftc
The first time I came by a couple were walking down the steps, obviously up to no good, so I went past to get the next one. On my return the coast was clear, littorally, so I was able to make the find without any eyes on me. TFTC.
Found ... out for a bit of a walk on a cool, crisp Sunday afternoon ... had no idea where this track went but decided to explore around here anyway ... not many people about, a few dog walkers & a couple of keen fisherman done on the beach ... Took the TB:LN:SL ... TFTC ... #1,536 for us.
heading out for a reason to take and easy walk after a late breakfast... hmm must be getting old - why is it that cafes for breakfast just dont seem to be able put make tasty food - even the ones that are packed seem to always trip in some way... ah well still the reason to walk it off... had seen these here for a while but never quite got around to it,... so here we are.. had to widen the search a little as the "birds " where circling a slightly different area today.. but clue helped quite a bit;-)thanks
Found quickly while having a wander along the shoreline since the tide was out. Exchanged TB's. tftc
Pazzabella & I brought our collection of geodogs out for pleasant wander along this track.
A quick find for Pazza, while the geodogs sat patiently on the stairs - overseeing her & ensuring she did the job properly. Tftc

Thanks Stu4. Nice easy find. No kite surfers today and the tide is a long way out with sun setting in the west. Visiting from Australia for would Masters Games.
A pleasant evening for a stroll around the beach with Grandson and muggle daughter. Quick find as per hint. No kite surfers out tonight.
After a quick play on the playground we walked around the beach to find this cache, Aunty found this one. Off to get a post geocaching ice block.
After scoring a very rare FTF at supernanny's new cache, I wondered over here along a most pleasant wee walk for a quick find. Great spot. TFTC
Really lovely spot. Out for an evening play time with kiddos and also to find a cache. This one was an easy find and cache is all good here. spotted few kites from here too. tftc.
Found with brand0n97 after uni. Relatively quick find once we were in the right spot. Tftc
Had a few hours to spare this afternoon so decided to explore Pt. Chev, haven't really spent any time here so it was nice to discover this walkway and the parks in this area. the phone GPS had me directly on the footpath, but after a bit of a puzzled search - the hint wasn't matching anything I could see, expanded my search about 12M and found the cache. TFTC!
After exploring the Oakley Creek Walkway, decided to explore over this side. Nice spot and enjoyed the walk to GZ. SL. TFTC.
Glad that it was more shelly and less muddy along the way to this one after going out to Serenity Island. Nice little walk along here in the afternoon sun. Saw a likely place and voila! The kids took a butterfly and a dinosaur and left a fairy and a pig. TFTC
Nice cache. Found together with my family during the short visit in this beach. Thanks and greetings from Latvia!
This cache was my 1922 and was found at 8 February 2016 19:56

Found this Geocash in 2012. Again visiting from South Africa and revisited it with Stroud NZ. Swopped Winglen's Wooly Baa Baa Cache Critters OC43KQ for a little guy on a Skateboard. Any objections if I take this little Baa Baa to travel South Africa?
Wow we found this one ages ago but didn't log it until today when we got serenity island. Tftc
Lovely little spot to visit on this fine summers day. Tide almost full and plenty of Kite Surfers to watch. Nice quick find. We have never visited this reserve and coastal walk before. Gets a favorite for the location. TB dropped. TFTC
Took advantage of the low tide today. Last time I was here, the tide was too high. TFTC.
Quick stop on the way home to finish a couple of caches I did not have time for last week. Nice walk down to GZ. TFTC
My first geo cache! Have taken a gift for my daughter and will come back and replace very soon. Many thanks.
What a very pleasant day it is; relaxing by a nice beach, watching the winsurfers AND caching! It was hard to get a car parked here today thats for sure but I did and walked to the cache and found it. Thanks for that.
An easy find once I realised that my GPS had me looking in the wrong location. None of the travel bugs were there - someone else had beaten me to the one that Dorie&Dorus dropped off and the others appear to have been missing for a long time.
Lots more names in the logbook from the last few days than listed on this page.
Thanks for leading me to this area which I hadn't visited before

Needed to think about the clue! Gps not very accurate, but got there in the end
Went with my cousin Dorie&Dorus, after a good search found it. Placed a travelbug in the cache.

Found it on a nice beach spot with Annekepuppylover. Place a travel bug! Perfect place for the travelbug. TFTC
#171 Found once GPS had a chance to settle down on location. Clue eventually helped me get it. No TB's in this one as listed.

Fantastic place, beautiful when the suns out and tides in.
Nice hide, all ok
Thanks!

Thanks!
Quick find using hint and discription. GPS was jumping a little and never put us closer than 5 meters from actual cache. TFTC
checked out today and looks like mother nature has taken it away. replaced with new container and log
Kept walking around the rocks after finding some other caches. Couldn't find this one. Will have to try again.
Been looking for an hour last night, and an hour today..... Am starting to feel like it might not be here anymore :-/
In the district to take my nieces wedding service. Thanks for the cache. Great place to visit.
No kitesurfing today, no wind or water but there was a cache. Left a TB tftc

I was out and about this morning so thought I'd grab a couple of caches while I was at it. I used to live just the other side of the motorway yet never knew this coastal path existed. Thank you for bringing me to this lovely part of the city. No kitesurfing today as there was no water but I have seen them often
What a gorgeous sunset we happened upon this evening. Just finished a dinner of fish n chips at Pt Chev beach with some caching friends. They mentioned this spot and we realised that we hadn't found it yet. A rowdy party down here tonight... Think there will be a heap of empties in the bins tonight. So pleased to have discovered this new spot. thanks!
On our [trip around the world](http://www.hoppundweg.piekar.de/) we came to New Zealand as well. We first visited the south Island, then we came to the north island. We searched many caches and found almost every cache we searched for . Thanks to all the owners of these caches. Now, 2 years later, we recognized, we will never be able to log every cache seperately... So: Sorry for this standard logtext and thanks for one of the caches, which accompanied us on our journey.
Today we tried to find some challenge caches so we went into this area. Due to this cache was nearby we tried to find the box too. Furtunately it was an easy and fast found so we had more time to find some other caches. Thanks a lot for the cache.
Definitely no kitesurfing when I visited - there wasn't any water, LOL! Yet another great little walk I knew nothing about - thanks for bringing me here. I left a finger puppet for the next visitor and took a New World mini shop collectable for myself - plus half a dozen empty bottles some bozo had left on the beach. Ugh, what's wrong with these people?! TFTC
Found this one quickly to try and get out of the summer sun. Had tried to find it when we were noobs but now had no trouble. GPS was a bit off though. TFC
Found this cache during our little walk around the ocean-coast This is just beautifull piece of nature and we felt in love with this place.. Breathtaking Thanks for caches around here, greetings from czech republic
Nice day in the sun for a stroll along the beach. Master Ice from the Fire'n'Ice team brought along plastic bags and we filled them to overflowing with broken glass, bottles, plastic bags and non-biodegradable rubbish. Ice did a great job and really exemplified the CITO philosophy - hats off to you!
Now, back to the cache. Nice to find one large enough to put things in. Log nice and dry, replaced as found, didn't take anything, but left a friend for the cache...
Thanks for bringing us here, nice spot, well maintained cache.
Cache card left
Didn't see any trackables, but was mainly signing and replacing...

Pretty fun cache. Nice dry log. Nice spot for a cache. Thanks for the cache. [^]
Thanks for the cache, nice evening for a walk along the beach watching the sunset in the sky
The sun has set, its low tide, and in the few moments of sunlight the cache was found. Was a little worried that the GPS was about 8m out, but with the hint, the cache was quickly found. Thanks for the hide, its beautiful here.
A nice short stroll to find the cache, a couple of kitesurfers here this morning. TFTC
Having a nice peaceful stop on the beach..during a bit of a caching trip between work. just a gorgeous outlook today..sun just right on the water! Took only tb from cache to move on antifix thanks!

Thanks for the cache - a great find - lots of kite surfers on this very windy day!!
What better way to celebrate international geocaching day than extending it to 40 hours, courtesy of the international date line, and finding some interesting caches!!
A very nice spot indeed! A challenge brought me close by, so why not keep walking? And I definitely did not regret coming this way, very nice peaceful spot, deserted in the rainy morning, thank you for bringing me here.

Quiet serene spot. Nice quick find on this fine but chill morning without too many people around.
Lovely sunny afternoon with the boys, great spot, enough of a challenge for the kids. No pencil or pen.
Nice walk to GZ, and soon located the cache. Nearly busted by a four legged muggle, but they were called away before the 2 legged variety saw me. TFTC.
Quick find, nice walkway we have never ventured along before, no Trackables in this Cache.
Quick find once the muggle I could hear approaching past!! No sign of the travel bug mentioned in the last post! Tftc
Thanks for the cache, stu4 - I was at the nearby reserve fining a FMZ challenge cache & went for a short walk to find this one, too.
