Just a fun little drive in the forest as we make our way to Rosewood near Tumbarumba to visit a muggle cousin for the day. The road was in good condition considering how much rain we have had this summer. Unfortunately the log book was soaking wet and we tipped water out of the cache container too. We were able to stamp the logbook at 9.35am to show proof of our visit, but some TLC by the owner is needed. Maybe a more waterproof container is needed or a zip lock bag for the log book #8550 TFTC watchdog05 and the pleasant drive in the morning sunshine.

23,608. Found during a caching run to break-in albida33's brand new Geomobile.

With a brand new Geomobile to test out, albida33 and I headed down the Hume cherry-picking caches filling in many gaps on our maps. Next stop for the day. A good 4WD workout to get up to this area, once the right tracks were found. After the fun drive we arrived in the area for a nice park and walk in for the quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one on our list.

Thanks watchdog05 !!

After making it to the trig, I picked up this one on the way back. It's a bit moist in there. Log book needs a day in the sun and a plastic bag. TFTC. Great rock formations.

Tftc Watchdog, cache hasn't been visited in a while. Took a detour while doing W to T series. Cache is dry and in good order.

A detour from the main road took me to this spot with a view Big Grin
Very quiet in the forest today which was surprising given the number of fresh dirt bike tracks everywhere [:o]

In the peace and quiet I ran round and round the rocks a few times,
before the cache was finally found Smile

TFTC.

Nice easy find once in the right spot. Thanks for bringing us up this track. We’ve camped at the retreat before but never bothered to explore the fire trails. It was pre geocaching though. Haha

This one took me a while to find, had to widen my search a tad, then it was an easy find when behind the correct rock.

Not quite as challenging as orienteering here today! TFTC Emptied H2O our - a tad soggy but should dry

With micaparamedic staying with us for a few days, we planned a trip to Tumbarumba.

A nice drive in the bush, and an awesome spot for a picnic.
Locate the cache with no problems, signed and replaced.

Many thanks for placing this cache, watchdog05, for us and others to find.

Heading home after working up north. Picking up a few caches along the way and decided for something a little more interesting. A nice diversion from the highway rewarded with some great views.

Day 2 of the Australia 3-day orienteering champs. Today's event was in Murraguldrie forest, so I cached my way there and back from Wagga Wagga. Todays event was based close by - in fact I ran past this on my course. After the race I wandered back for an easy find. Took TB. TFTC.

5354. A long day out with Rapidlywild, FurfacesLL and Loci612.
I believe my colleagues have covered our adventure to a T.
So a big thank you to them and especially to the CO for their efforts and providing us with lots of entertainment.

A trip was planned for last weekend but the weather spoiled those plans, re-scheduled for today and what a lovely day it turned out to be. Not too hot, not too cold, just right for some monkeying around. Headed out just after 6.30am and returned around 12.30am collecting just over 60 caches on the trip more than originally planned. The touring party consisted of Boot65, Loci612, Rapidlywild and myself with all logs through the day being signed as B.F.L.R.

Loci612 spotted this on our route to Walla Walla so it was our next point of call. Bit of 4WD bush bashing here, road was a little rough in parts but a nice drive all the same. RW made a quick find at GZ.

Thanks for the cache watchdog05 and thanks for a great day Boot65, Loci612 and Rapidlywild.

The first cache in a big day of geocaching, 18 hours on the road from 6:30am till 12:30am the following day! Drove down from Canberra, and stopped at one other cache before this one which I had already found but the rest of my team hadn't. We had a 4WD so decided to tackle this one on the way to Walla Walla as it seemed like an interesting location to explore. What a great forest and drive this was, we almost made it a drive by and were able to park within about 30 metres from the cache. While everyone was scrambling over the rocks Rapidlywild made a quick find!

DROPPED a trackable in this cache as it was a good size and will hopoefully bring someone out here to get it! I know it won't get muggled here too Razz

FP added as I liked the location and drive!
TFTC, we signed as B.F.L.R (Boot65, FurfacesLL, Loci612, Rapidlywild) to save space in the log.

A group of us in the ACT had been planning a Walla Walla trip to tackle the 4.5T series of caches for a little while now, we locked in last Saturday however weather and news was reporting "significant" rains so we postponed to this Saturday. After heading off nice and early, the four of us (Boot65, FurfacesLL #1, Loci612 and myself) set off for our long day of adventures. We had 9 caches in our initial target, came home with just over 60 finds after 17+ hours out and about. It was an amazing day challenging ourselves in many ways and hitting some awesome fun 4wd tracks under moonlight Big Grin We signed all caches today as B.F.L.R. to save room in the logs. Picked up 3 D/T's for me and FurfacesLL claimed their 25,000th find Big Grin Congrats ladies.

*End Predefined Log Starter for Saturday 27th May 2017*

**This Cache:** Loci612 noticed this on one the map and suggested we go have a gander, being in the trusty 4wd we all agreed and our chauffeur made the detour off the highway to said cache. Absolutely beautiful forest this one with some pretty good trails Big Grin Drove pretty close to GZ and a short stumble over some rocks and the cache was soon spotted. Log signed and replaced and off we go again Smile

Thanks to Boot65 for being our chauffeur today in the new 4wd beast, was super fun Big Grin thanks also Loci and FFLL for the great day out and thanks for the cache of course watchdog05 Cool[^]Big Grin

Two wheel drive approach for us today and fairly low slung at that! It was a slow and steady trip, including, getting out a few times to move some obstacles off the track. We often struggle, searching among rocks, fortunately, the size of this hide helped and it was not too long before our name was added to the log.
Satellites today had our GZ 6m SE of where we found the cache.

Our thanks to watchdog05 for bringing us here.

Victorian Murray River region caching weekend 2015. This cache has called to me for a few years as I have driven down the highway, today was the day to head up to get it. I was happy the track took me all the way to the cache, even if it does not allow a drive to the top. A nice spot up here.

Thanks.

[:(!] On my way to Albury and picking up a few caches along the way and this was on of them, parked the geoKa as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was located and it was quickly in hand.

It had been raining, but I figured I'd give this one a go. No problems getting up, though had to stop a couple of times to let herds of roos cross the track.
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache watchdog05.
best wishes,

We went in past the Vet camp in 2WD. The road got worse as we went further but not too bad. Great views around near GZ. A couple of rabbits cleared off as we got near GZ and with a bit of searching got to the right spot. We signed the log and re hid. TFTC.

Found during a long drive for work between Tumba and Balranald. Not a good day to admire the view as the rain tumbled down and the trusty (2WD) work ute climbed into the cloud about half way up the track. Plenty of roo's and wallabys dicing with death as they dashed across in front of me but I can happily report that the only casualty on the drive in was a solitary bunny. Did a u-e at the open gate as there was nothing to be seen from the top today (but I will be back). Many thanks watchdog05.

#585 on day 169 of continuous caching this was my second attempt at this location the first I did not follow the track all the way but this time with a very quiet day and a little time on my hands work was rather slow I decided that this would make for a great drive and tick this one off the list and it was just as I expected a great drive and with the truck this time and not the low car it was an easy track to GZ over some interesting water flow controls on the way in. The mountains are defiantly the place to be as the view was spectacular and well worth the trip to check another day of the list and add this to the growing list of found caches.

Thanks watchdog05 for a great location and an excellent hide.

Found at 10:49 AM GAFF1. Leaving Albury without a cache - what! So we quickly looked around to see what we could do on our way north and this one looked interesting. A bit of off road work, maybe a good view? We found the road blocked by a fallen tree which we were able to get around, but then just 140 metres from GZ a humungous tree lay across the track, so we had to walk the last bit. At GZ we were a bit disappointed with the view which we could just get glimpses of between the tree trunks. The cache was found with the lid half off as the previous finders probably didn't clip the lid on properly.
Thanks watchdog05

Was out doing my bit for conservation and rabbit control with the Farmers 5. Alas, we got just as many caches as bunnies.

I'm up here most weekends, and I absolutely love the views, especially when you get above the fog.

After a weekend of ornienteering not far away, we made our way up here at the end of the day. I love this forest and the rocks are just beautiful. There are lots of flowers out with the spring rains and everything looks so lovely. It's very peaceful up here and I could have sat for a few hours enjoying the peacefulness of nature. A definite top spot and one of my very favourites in the Wagga area. Thanks watchdog05 Smile

#1748 After spending the evening & night at a friends farm near Kyeamba this was just too close to pass up. We had passed this cache numerous times in our travels as we either didn't have the right vehicle or we had time constraints. Today was our day and we had fine weather to boot - a great day for a drive. Got to GZ and pulled up in the middle of the track and soon located the cache. Just as we were finishing up a vehicle was returning from the other direction so Dad had to move the GeoTriton. After a brief chat we found that the gate was locked so we didn't bother to continue on - had to be satisfied with the glimpses of views from GZ. TNLN Thanks heaps for the cache watchdog05, glad to have finally ticked this one off [^]

Found on a nice day for a 4wd drive in the bush. Good track and good co-ords.
We were amazed that we would be the joint *FTF* with no other visitors from south of here yet.
We went on a bit further, for some great views across the valley but could not get through a locked a gate for some better views up further. Found a great camping spot on the way in, that we both never knew existed.
Took an empty eclipse tin & left a highlighter pen, TFTC,
