### **MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?** ###
I notice from recent log entries that this cache would seem to be in need of owner intervention as there are one or more comments in regard to the state of the cache log. It leads one to the contention that the cache container is no longer weather proof. Therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
A basic tenet of geocaching is that **the cache log needs to be signed to record a find,** see here: [Logging of All Physical Geocaches](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#logging). At the moment this would seem to be extremely difficult if not impossible to meet that requirement in regard to this cache.
Prompt attention by cache owners to any log that indicates anything could be amiss is greatly appreciated by all seekers. The guideline advises; ***"if you can't check/fix it straight away then Disable it till you can."*** see here: [Owner is responsible for visits to the physical location,](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance ) and here's how; [Temporarily Disable and Enable,](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235) also check out this Blog: [Helpful Tips To Keep In Mind As A Geocache Owner.](http://www.geocaching.com/blog/2015/03/you-hid-your-first-geocache-now-what/)
Please respond to this situation by **14th January** to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

After completing 2 bike trail series in the company of McLookers , its now time to rest our bums and do a few driveways locally before heading back home. Found the cache with water inside making the log wet.
Thanks for the hide teampapadragon.
Thanks for the hide teampapadragon.
Huge old tree. As others have said, the cache is full of water. Thanks teampapadragon.
Thanks for another great cache to find on my drive around the area.

It was hidden a bit too far back, moved it to a closer spot (still hidden) so no one destroys the garden. It's very waterlogged... couldn't sign
Our first Melbourne find nice and easy to raise our spirits! Unfortunately a little waterlogged so unable to sign. Team MA
No luck with this one today unfortunately. I was pressed for time but spent 5-10 minutes searching, it must be hidden well! Thanks anyway, nice spot for a cache!
Lovely spot. We have looked before with no luck but today it was found very quickly. Hid it a bit better because it was not really hidden well. Cache is otherwise in good order. Tftc!
Nice one, great for us because we had three kids and were they were able to do their second ever geocache.
A nice cache. Had to use the hint because i didnt want to spend to much time looking sus with all the muggles. TFTC!
Log book water damaged and has seen better days. Smells very bad! Unfortunately had no replacements on us.
What a lovely restful spot this must have been in times gone past. Here with TinkerTraveller and geokid CharlieBear10 as we make our way into the city. A quick find by CharlieBear, however she was unimpressed with the smell emanating from the cache, and the log in particular. It has seen better days and needs replacing. Will raise a Needs Maintenance as well.

Our last stop before heading into the city, JeckleberryandTedd, Charlibear10 and I had a seat as we opening the container. Unfortunately water must have gotten in (as stated by Jeckleberry), but fortunately Charlibear10 was happy to sign our names in the log book. As we sat on the seat we imagined what the Heidelberg area must have looked like 200 years ago before settlement in the area - it must have looked stunning! A great location for a cache. Thanks teampapadragon.
Found tonight with grumpy gramps whilst out on our Thursday adventure. Of course hoping for double fingers. TFTC
I didn't want to disturb a magpie who was looking for food in this tiny reserve, so I sat down. When I looked behind me there was the cache. Thank you for placing this cache and thank you to the magpie.
Nice to discover an early cache placement still in place and in good condition, there is NO TBs in cache but pen and logbook are there along with a few trinkets, it has been a long time between finds but I have signed the log and replaced where found thanks teampapadragon I have worked at the big silver rocket when working with Telecom back in 1984 but that was before Geocaching came to Victoria
I have been spending the month with my quest to qualify for the Multicache Month Challenge so I came to Greensborough to get the last 4 that I need to get a total of 31 for the month.
Having completed the 4 multis I needed I thought that I would grab a couple of caches on my way home.
A quick find. TFTC.

We needed the hint for this one as I was convinced it was hidden in the obvious feature! Contents very wet as bubbles had leaked. No sign of any trackables
A lovely spot to drive past this morning.
The history of the pine trees in Melbourne is very interesting - this one I am certain would have been a historical boundary marker as it is on the Reynolds Road / Bell St gridline.
So many of these trees have been removed over the years by councils considering non-indigenous trees to be "pests". As far as I am concerned, that's just tree-ist.
All trees provide life giving oxygen to us and should be treated with respect.
It's great to see this one has survived. And it has a pretty sweet view too!

A quick find as it wasn't covered. Found while killing some time while my car is serviced. Have to work out how to get back now! Tftc
Nice location, great view. Not too hard to find. TFTC.

Not too difficult to find (only our second geocache so still not really knowing what to expect!)
Gotcha on a recent trip to Melbourne. Lovely old tree and nice place to sit and watch. tftc and showing us this spot.

Log book was very wet. In a lovely Shady spot on the hill over looking the Dandenongs.TFTC
The 5 year old spotted it when he fell in a heap after hitting his shin. Silver linings and all that. Still a bit damp but ok, and there is a pen (thankfully as I forgot to bring one).
Very happy to have a find after our last failure. So, Melbourne done. On our way back to Sydney now.
Happened to be driving by on the way to the shops. A parking space vacant just near the spot. Why not? Not too hard. The contents were a little bit damp (including the logbook) but not enough to cause real concern. A couple of dry days should fix it.
Driving past when we realised there was one here so found it and back to work we go.☝️
Nice spot, have tootled past but never stopped, easy find and all in good order
I pined out. Muggle sitting under tree. Cone of silence was the agreed solution with my gcgf. Mission to be continued
Was tipped over with everything everywhere and the lid was off. I picked it up and sorted it out great spot.
Travelled around the local area looking for a few caches. This was the first of the day. A nice simple find with fabulous views over to the Dandenong Ranges that were capturing the mid afternoon sun. TFTC!
A great little spot for some contemplating: wonderful views off to part of the Dandenong Ranges.
The log was a little damp, but still ok.

Ben the Dad and Charlie grab their second find in one day! Note book a bit damp. Well hidden cache yet easy to find, good one for Charliegirl. She swapped a pretty yellow button for a bald troll doll! Great view!!
Nice spot, but the container isn't keeping the log book dry in this location.
