A bug few hours planned to do this Smiley geoart before work at 3pm today. As soon as I started I just had to finish it and time was running out fast. Took me 3.5 hours to do the whole lot driving, park then walk to the cache. All caches were in great order only one was a bit damp. Really inspires me to attempt a Geoart of my own one day. Great effort and such a remote location too, I didnt see a single person or another vehicle the whole time I was here. TFTC jtnsilo
Out and about with omegaman and ski pair around the Bendigo and Echuca area, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today.Logs signed as RASPOMThanks Geogetters for the cache.
We have set off on our annual winter escape but with no real plans other than a set of ideas. Our first stop is Bendigo, a place we haven't visited for any length of time in the past. There appears to be much to see and a good variety of caches to keep us entertained. We met up with our caching buddies Rebel Acts and Omegaman for a few days as well which added to the laughs and fun.Caches logged as RASPOM or SKI Pair if they had already found them. This is one of the caches we have found to date.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Geogetters.**SKI Pair****
I'm hitting the road again with my Rebel Acts and Ski Pair to have some fun and explore new places. While I don't mind caching locally, there is nothing like a road trip for a few days putting smiles on the map. I had a great time with lots of laughter and caching fun. Today's logs are signed as RASPOM.
We arrived in Axedale, continuing our trip towards the MEGA in Canberra - still stopping for couple of caches on the way.We liked the smiley face and tried to swap the green dots into smileys. Unfortunately, our car did not like all the tracks, so we had to walk quite a bit and couldn't finish the smiley face (yet), as we were running out of time.We found this cache and signed the log. We loved your efforts with maintenance and each cache we tackled, was converted into a smiley!Tftc Geogetters
Now we are on the way to Canberra and pick up some more caches .Found the cache with TBU1BIKESU Tftc Geogetters
Hey Geogetters,Was in the area today doing a matinence run on the smiley series, and checked in on your cache along the way.Cache was where its soposed to be with plenty of room in the log book.Added a couple of swaps for you.Cheers Ghihash.
Hey Geogetters,
walked past your cache today as I was looking at the reaming caches in the smiley series. Cache wasn't where I rembered finding it and expanded my search to find it out in the open with lid partially off. Logbook in good condition and container still in tacked and all surprisingly dry, I placed it back into its likely spot.
Not many swaps left in this one.
Thanks for placing this cache

Visiting Bendigo for a 50th Birthday Bash tonight and thought we would spend this great day outwith @The4WDShed grabbing some caches. Nice drive in this area to grab these ones. TFTC
I set out several hours later than planned today. The original plan was actually yesterday but ermmmmm, we won't mention that!
Mtbing around here also went out the window........
I've never been out here before. This was #17 & my offroad driving was full on rally driving, in the dark. A nice hide so close to the muggle area. This would need to be my last for today. Many thanks. ️

First find for the day! Strange to think I was the only person for miles in the area.
In Bendigo for the weekend as part of Melbourne Opera’s massive Wagner Ring Cycle. It’s our rest day, so here I am finding some local caches. TFTC

Found on our way back to SA after attending the Mega Event in Rutherglen, searching for caches along the way. Completed the Dedication and Milestone Challenge series before camping out right here in Wellsford State Forest! Thanks for the cache Geogetters!
Out on a trip to somewhere we’ve not been before. We tracked towards this series of smiley faces with a lot of anticipation. With the first find for the day, off we go ....

A caching day in Bendigo with Posums saw us target the smilie face! I really should have read up on it more as I didn’t realise we had to walk a bit! Ha ha. We found all caches in about 3.5hours. It really is such a great series being made up of trads. Well done - not an easy feat!
After spending the week before away caching I thought that I better catch up with a few things around home over this weekend.
Sitting at Friday night my phone went bing and it was a message from Gemma Sistema, the question was asked are we still on for our 6 weekly caching catch up tomorrow.
Opps I had totally forgot about that so the response was of course and what Geovehicle do I need to bring.
A quick run around to get organised and the day was planned.
I’m just the chauffeur on these trips as always Gemma tells me where to go.
Met early in Castlemaine and headed to Bendigo for a fun day out.
After finding a few right in town now to head out to see what Gemma has planned.
No wonder she asked me to bring the Geocruiser when I noticed where we were heading.
How you set this geoart up with trads was a great feat and a lot of effort so well done to you.
Found some tracks that didn’t really appear on the satellite maps on the journey and walked in to a few as well.
A different type of bush out here compared to other places.
All caches found easily with great coords.
Not sure if this was part of the series or an extra one but it does help to make the smiley face.
Thanks Geogetters TFTC.

A full afternoon of completing the smile! A great variety of caches to find. This was a beautiful area to explore. Thanks for being us here.
Saw this series and thought how cool, a completed caches series of smileys of a smiley!. It was nice to park and grab some, walk in the bush to some and wander around the lovely park area. We didn't see any animals though. TFTC
Out for an afternoon drive with Bogonghazy. Finally completing this series. Thanks for placing the geocache
Another picturesque place. The wellsford forest is putting on a show at the moment. Tftc
As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.

TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse. Again, groundspeak acceptable.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely thank all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Karen

TeamOZCAT left Albury Wodonga Thursday to cache Bendigo district, and some on route. The Smiley series was one, as well as some Adventure Lab and others. We thank all CO's for placing and maintaining their respective caches, and if there were issues, we would have messaged CO with details. Please note, log was wet due to no container lid
Awesome day out to grab a chance or three. Nice quick find, whilst out grabbing a couple more smileys. TFTC Geogetters

Found in the company of Crustyvarmint. We will spend a couple of days in the area with Crustyvarmint doing the majority of caches. Damn arthritis severely limits my walking treks so will only do a few that are easy to reach from the tracks through the area.

Having arranged to meet up with Hembee, and a couple of other friends, we gathered for a couple of nights, with our caravans and motorhomes, to enjoy the forest area and gather a few geocaches. We had a very enjoyable time, camped by the dam.
This cache was the first that we attended. It is in good condition, and we signed the log and set off through the bush, on foot.
Thanks for the fun Geogetters.

A morning caching run through the forests near Bendigo The flies are the size of mice and, boy, do they bite Rummaged in the back for Bushman’s and came up empty but did find a roll of TP So did what I felt like doing and then treated the car to a wash, and me to an ice cream and can of bug spray. Here for a week or so, plenty of time to explore and solved a swag of puzzles yesterday. Just chillin’ this arvo

Start of our Smiley Hunt. Found by Michelle while Ben searched elsewhere with Nala's help. Nice hide TFTC
TFTC. We had been in the area to find the Milestone Challenge caches. WE then spotted this trail of geo art to create a Smilie. We attempted 9 of them before the hot weather got to us. We will be back at some stage to find the rest.
Found at 11.10am, We were over in Bendigo for the day with our relatives from Qld. Some had gone to the swap meet, One of our visitors was recovering from heart surgery and wanted to go for an easy walk. This series seemed perfect. An easy walk from the car, past the shooting gallery to find this one.
Thanks
