Geez wasn't a easy find for us, just about to give up when we found it on ground
What a dismal day, but not bad enough to stop getting out before the sun set (somewhere behind the clouds and sea mist) to log a cache or 2 . Joined up with My.Precious and headed down to Ferguson Park to Scout around the Park to find Flippaduck's stash's. Signed for both of us to save log space, TT2M.P. Ground a tinsey bit wet underground. Log is full.
Out for some fresh air (after all the rain) with Tigatat2 and decided to get a cache before dark.
Retrieved the cache after a bit of searching, and signed it with our joint name TT2M.P to save space on the log.
Rain clouds around the harbour and port created a surreal haze.

Found it today for last find souvenir for 2015. Logged online as it shows the 30th. Quick find, pill container on the ground. TFTC and happy new year.
Quick find after doing the nearby multi as mention this cache does need some maintaince as it's no longer secure as we popped up from the bushes the nearby neighbors were closing their curtains and gave us a bit of a strange look.

The holder is just sitting on the ground but the cache can be found near by. We searched for this cache last time we were here but was too dark to find . glad to return in daylight for a quick find. Tftc
Another all day mission with 11HPG11 and iammrwalker, this time focusing on the other side of Tauranga. I had just finished logging the all the caches we had found in Papamoa when I looked at the map and thought why not have a crack at the other side as well!
A early start as we were on the road at 4.30am as we needed to be back not to late otherwise we'd be in the dog box when we got back home. Another fantastic day out with lots of the usual laughter and this time the weather was much better behaved. In total over 80 finds, with only a couple of DNF's and we got back in time to stay out of the dog boxes, just!
We signed the log books with Hi1, an acronym of our caching handles. A big thanks to all the CO's for all the placements, and for taking us to places we hadn't been before.
We sent HPG off to get some ice creams while we headed off to GZ to hunt for the cache. We found the holder first followed by the holder a few minutes later. Had just replaced when HPG turned up with the good stuff. Thanks for the hide.

Out and about trying to clear off another chunk of Tauranga geocaches. Again accompanied by HKCB and Iammrwalker, this seems to becoming a habit. Early start, head to Tauranga, cache the whole day, say we will be home early, end up being home later and then grovelling out of the dog box. This time we set off from Hamilton at 4.30am to try and get more caching done before we had to turn around. We seem to be enjoying this so much we are planning a return visit again soon. Signed our logs as "HI1" as an acronym of our respective caching names. A great, laugh filled day that was thoroughly enjoyed.
We spotted an icecream truck in the car park so I decided to get supplies while the others ran off to this one. I can safely report that the icecreams were delicious and went down a treat.

This was one of nearly eighty Geocaches I found in the company of HKCB and 11hpg11, we signed the log HI1, an anachronism made up of the first initials of our Geocaching handles to save on log space. This was our second trip to the Bay of Plenty. A few weeks ago we conquered The Mount and Papamoa and were back today on another infamous mad mission. We left Hamilton at 4:30 am and I was back at home in time to read my two boys a story and tuck them into bed at 7:30pm. We had a fun day exploring the area and got to see lots of parts of the area we hadn’t experienced before. A big thanks to all the cache owners who took the time and effort to place so many high quality and well maintained hides. Thanks also to HKCB for organising the day and driving. I think it was fitting to undertake these trips during the ‘Geocaching Road trip’ Groundspeak promotion, as it typified all those things that make a good road trip, most importantly good company. There were plenty of laughs and some memorable shenanigans.
It was pretty smelly at GZ today! I found an empty holder pretty quickly lying on the ground and then the cache container shortly after. I was returning the cache to the base of the hedge when 11hpg11 approached with a yummy and highly appreciated chocolate dipped icecream for us all having detoured to an icecream truck in the parking lot on the way to GZ.

The bouquets were very strong to day. You could say it's a cr.p place to hide a cache
I had an awesome caching day at otumoetai with thescoobydoos - without any kids for a change! Nr 13. A stinky one! Good hide thanks.
TFTC. A quick find today on our geocaching excursion to Tauranga (from Waihi).
First find for the day while out grabbing a few early caches. The GPSr had me right onto the spot - great coords. Cache was quickly sighted and the log recovered and signed.
Waited for some running muggles to pass the returned the log to its spot. Thanks for these placements Flippaduck.

Had to really sneak in really really low, as muggles having their afternoon drinkies nearby. That was fun! Cheers.
Have found once before, came back a second time to log my name. It smelt a bit bad and I got a few scratches but found cache pretty easily TFTC!
Mallorcatommy and I were travelling through the northern island of New Zealand. What an amazing, breath-taking landscape! On our way we did some nice walks, enjoyed ourselves and found great geocaches. Thanks to all owners for nice hiding spots... We wouldn't have been to a few places without these little boxes!
This one we found quickly!
Thank you!

Every day we are traveling around is same but also different. Today we had again the pleasure to visit some very beautiful spots and were also able to find nearly placed geocaches. I thank every single owner for placing it and giving us with doing this an other good reason to come here.
Another valentines day find with my wonderful wife. Longer arms would have been helpful.
Was glad of the bushes as they provided cover this afternoon while hunting for this cache. Quite a number of people further along in the park which prevented seeking out those caches, so it was this one only here. Took a wee while but got there in the end, well hidden. TFTC.
Have been carrying a scouts geocoin around with me for awhile. Would have been an ideal place to leave it but unfortunately it wouldn't have fitted.

A really enjoyable day in Tauranga. An early morning raid on Matua netted a few. A middle of the day stroll (yeah right!) up the Mount added a few more, and a quick jaunt to Papamoa enabled us to find the one we'd heard about at the event last night. So long and thanks for all the caches
TFTC ^^ Already lots of time passed till today, but i still remember the nice view on the mount
I tell you what, by the time we got to this one (5/5 for the day) with the wind biting at us every step of the way, this hedge provided much needed shelter. And that was great as we hunted around for the cache which was soon in hand. A short rest gave us all we needed to get back to the car, but as we watched all the kite surfers, with all the wind and water, suddenly we all felt rather tired again Thanks for the caches Flippaduck, a nice day trip to Matua.
Found by stretching a bit while sitting and enjoying the view out over the harbour. Thanks for this series of caches Flippaduck.
Happy Fathers Day to all the Dad's
We spent a full day of caching from Rotorus to Tauranga. Travelling along your beautful sea front, forestry & close to the town centre.
We found a great selection of caches.
Thanks for placing this cache Flippaduck

Was just about to give up, searching in a wet hedge not so much fun. But then one of the juniors found it. Good one for small people.
Found this one quite quickly, no muggles around today just a cute little white dog!! TFTC we enjoyed wandering around this area.
A quick grab while we gathered information at nearby waypoints for the giant Matua multi. A great way to see the area. Glad that hedge was there to keep us out of sight! TFTC
took a while to find this one but got there in the end. My son was part of the 6th Seaford Scouts in the UK and loved competitive hiking. His Dad and I helped out at checkpoints. TFTC
Last cache around Fergusson Park today. no problems, and no muggles - so quickly spotted and retrieved.
I'm a Scout Troop Leader with Belmont Scouts in Lower Hutt, Wellington (Currently 30 Scouts, and over 100 youth in the Group, across all sections). About 20 Venturers currently.
TFTC!

The old field was a bit boggy in places and the smell not the best, but I rose to the test!
Would've been a rummaging find if we hadn't seen the treasure hunters in front of us ! Thanks!
Someone must of cut the hedge as had to hind real well from the muggles houses. Do you know how hard it is to be stealth when your hubby is 6.4 in height....LOL. He almost had a head above the hedge, must of looked real funny from the other side TFTC
Cleverly positioned so that you can be out of sight. No smell today, although it is quite noisy and as it surged Steed noted that someone must have flushed.
Close to our 1000th now! Countdown...3...
