Found with LittleBoss2 and Geo the puppy after hearing the gates open at 430pm. This means that in the hours on the notice, the walk is only about 185m from the car. Cheers Claybol, thanks for maintaining
Found this one on a trip home on way back from visiting my family home for fathers day.
Good find,first find myself. TFTC

An unusual situation for us instead of being in lovely warm Queensland we are hiding around cold old Victoria. Medical reasons and caravan repairs have us staying here and we will be looking forward to finding as many caches as possible while we are here. SL TFTC
Oops. My apologies. I actually found this on Sunday 14th with my daughter. Totally opposite weather from a few days previously - it was warm, sunny & calm today. A beautiful day for Mother's Day. A straightforward find when the access was open. Many thanks
Simple cache with a lovley view. Allyalbas cacheing skill had done it again. Thanks for the cache
My biggest problem thus far, was finding the way in!! True to form, I tried all the wrong ways first It's rather chilly today & blowing a hooley but I'm sitting on the beach laughing at Geolabradog running from the waves....... Boy, am I glad I'm not out in the kayak today........ The walkway is closed between 8.30am and 4.30pm on weekdays apparently, so I'll come back later in the week. Many thanks
While in the area today, on another mission, I decided to have a look at the weir. Noticing this cache was nearby, I had an added reason to enjoy my visit. Quickly found.
Thanks The Morris and Claybol.
Thanks The Morris and Claybol.
The gate is still locked so a brisk walk to the cache today. The lake has stopped spilling but still interesting to see. Nice easy cache hide in good knick. Thanks Claybol
A sign at the front gate states that the site is now open again, so I'm re-activating the cache. Future cachers are encouraged to report any issues faced while accessing the area.
We saw this cache come up as now being accessible and thought it would be a great opportunity to see the lake full too. Cache and hide doing well and log and contents are as dry as a bone. Thanks Clayton.
A quick visit to the location this morning suggests that the site has finally re-opened to foot traffic. However, a gate prevents vehicles from entering the area. The cache now requires a 700m walk from the front gate.
Stopped by here again late this afternoon but unfortunately the area is still closed to the public. I may need to chase this up with an appropriate authority since it's been closed to the public for about a year now.
Checked up on this one again today. Most of the barriers have been removed, but gates and signs at both the eastern and western access points indicate that the area is still a construction zone and public access is prohibited. I'll continue to monitor the situation.
Dropped by to confirm that the the area is still a construction zone with a sign saying "no public access past GMW office". Will continue to monitor...
Once again, I stopped by this one to confirm that the construction zone is still in place and the cache remains accessible. However this time, a workman in high-viz was walking up the road near the barricade and when I asked him about it, he said that the area would probably re-open around the end of July. I'll return in early August to confirm.
I stopped by here again early this morning and nothing has changed. The cache still lies within a construction zone with no indication of how long it will be closed off.
I dropped by this one yesterday and can confirm that the cache is still within the boundaries of a construction zone. There was no indication as to what construction was taking place or when it might be completed, so I'll just need to keep an eye on it.
The cache is unable to be accessed right now due to construction work. Thanks for the info TonCin
Found this on my first full day in Victoria. Nice easy find with my sister and niece. Thank you!
A maintenance check while in the area
in the area revealed all is intact and ready to be found

Found with McLookers today. As we approached there was a car parked right at GZ, but fortunately the occupant was inside the building. The cache was soon found.
In the area today and a short detour brought us to The Wall. Alansee made the find and the maintenance guy nearby was none the wiser. Thanks claybol for showing us this very pretty area.
wow! tytaylor19 and i absolutely loved this one! found the cache super quick and then had a little explore of the area and wall! sooooooo beautiful
Wow this thing is very imposing. Me and catherinec19 want to cache a bit more now and figured this would be a cute start. I liked the container and adore Cairn Curran a lot. A must visit for cachers and tourists alike tftc have an explore
Find No. 3095. Found at 3.10pm.
With Kayaks on board we headed down to Cairn Curran Reservoir for a days outing and to grab the caches. Geodog Penny and FUF009 also came with us.
After grabbing the four caches on water, it was time for another cuppa and eats, then we loaded up the kayaks and headed for home via this cache.
Parked in the parking area and off we walked across the weir along the path. There were a few people around today in the picnic area and down on the waters edge paddling etc. We walked out and was able to grab the cache after a few sightseers passed by.
Cache found, log signed then it was back to the vehicles and homeward bound we went.

Was in the area so dropped by for a quick check. No sign of any spiders so presumably the previous finder cleared them away. I didn't have a spare container with me but I'll need to replace it when I get the opportunity. In the meantime I've placed the log-book in a new zip-lock bag to keep it dry. Thanks to Farmergate for the heads-up on this. Stay safe everyone!
Found it, it had spiders in it, which led to us not signing the book. Needs replacing. Hate spiders.
After completing our nearby paddling feathertop, Tag along and I headed over to the wall for refreshment. The sun popped out again so it was quite pleasant here.
It was a quick find after a short walk.

Snuck out of the house for some exercise and couldn't help but grab a quick cache along the way. Only had phone which is always a bit off but used by geo senses and quickly found the cache. TFTC

After some paddling to get some new T5 caches nearby, Hans (HansandLinda) and myself headed over here so i could find this one and clear my map in this area. And showing the value of his GPS over a smartphone, my coords were about 10m different to his very accurate GZ.
Thx The Morris' for hiding this one, nice to get out and enjoy the sunshine today.

Out with grandkids and friends Liam Rachelle Harrison and Ariel. 2nd for our day and tftc
I spent half an hour searching for this a month or so back with no luck. Today in the company of a muggle friend, I found it before I had time to explain what a Geocache is!
Thanks The Morris - Not far from our country abode.

Didnt find would love if there was a hint. Although we didnt find it, it was a beutiful view
Couldnt get access as the gates now shut at 430pm. Will revisit next time we are in the area
Cache zombified!
Out exploring the local campsites and looked up this cache. Interesting dam and a nice easy find.
Cache in good order. TFTC from ZombieCats.

Easy find in the end after we worked out the GPS coordinates. God place to visit and enjoy the view. TFTC.
I always find these dam walls fascinating! Thanks for bringing us to see another example.
Find #1668 for me. Found at 5:10 pm after finishing work early to grab a cache before dinner. I knew from the cache notes that the gates close at 7 so I'd have plenty of time for this, but when I arrived the sign out the front said the gates actually close at 4:30 and the gates a little further up the road were indeed already closed, so I parked outside and walked about 700m to the cache. No drama - I still had plenty of time and made a quick find once at GZ. Nice area too. It was pretty warm today but I only needed one cache to fill the empty calendar date so this was it. I still have 82 more days to fill but I'm getting there gradually. Thanks for bringing me here today The Morris and thanks for the cache!
TFTC. Thanks for bringing us out here. We were on a circuitous route from Eddington back to Maryborough to attempt a few more caches. Stopped by here and a pleasant walk along the Spillway to an easy retrieve. Must remember this spot for a picnic when we get back to the area after our winter sojourn.
Suscoe headed out for a day caching to the west of Castlemaine today.
A cool start but the sun was shining and the breeze kept things pleasant till mid afternoon.
We enjoyed travelling around to so many new locations.
It is so dry up here with dams almost empty but it is the end of summer.
Thanks to The Morris for showing us this spot, a beaut wall to be on.

Heading towards Maryborough after a big day of caching in Bendigo we just had to make the slight detour to check Cairn Curran and the reservoir out......not to mention the added bonus of this cache. Felt very tall as we walked over the spillway enjoying the views that it afforded us.
Thanks The Morris for bringing us here and for the extra

A day off together. We really should chop more wood to keep us warm. Or we could go geocaching. Guess which won.
There were 3 people sitting in their chairs fishing from the bank, although they were doing a lot more reading than reeling in their rods. There was also a Goulburn Water worker down at the pump house, letting some water gush out. He would glance up at us now and then, but we quickly picked where the cache might be, and had it in hand as we walked past before anyone could blink and while his back was turned. We continued to walk along the wall, taking photos and admiring the scenery. On the way back the cache was returned as swiftly as it was retrieved. TFTC The Morris and for bringing us here. We had a great day. brrrrrrrrr

Oh by the way. Sign on
Entrance gates say they are locked at 4:30pm. Don't get caught.

In the exact spot I thought it would be as I approached GZ. Phone wanted me to head to the wall so I wasted 10 mins lifting rocks before I went with my original thought and "bingo" there it was. TFTC Tje Morris. Stunning evening/afternoon here tonight.

My wife and I haven't been to Cairn Curran in about 40 years, It was great to come back. The first place I looked at gz, I had a man look. Nope nothing there. Then Searching gz area had no luck, Went back to the original spot and yep thats where it is. Dropped off a TB that wants to return to New Zealand if anyone can help. Thanks **The Morris,** Thanks for the childhood memories. TFTC.

Found with becca85, chan02 & boo09, our first for the year. Sorry for late logging. TFTC
Super hot today so we headed to Cairn Curran for a swim- after Mum made us visit this cache in hot, hot sun! A well earned smiley. TFTC
After a quick visit to the other side of the water for a cache last weekend, I felt bad that the kids had been deprived of a swim so today with no work and the sun well and truly out, we headed off for an arvo trip to keep us all happy- knock off our newly closest un-found cache and enjoy a swim in the heat.
We were aware of the previous DNF so when we also were unable to locate the cache, a quick call was made to the CO to confirm we were checking the correct nook which indeed we were and permission was given to replace the container. A quick stroll back to the car and we soon had a cache back in place, log signed and some token photos taken. Now all thoroughly sweating in the late arvo heat we headed back through the gates and around for a very enjoyable swim.
Found with neisha07, boo09 & chan02.

Whilst visiting Cairn Curran, thought we'd check if there was a cache. Yes - so over to the wall we went. Enjoyed the walk over and the views and surrounds, and spotted a pretty obvious hiding place but that was empty. Widened our search area but came up with nada. Back to the original, but definitely not there.
Great view from here. Watching the water levels online with all this rain we have been having. TFTC
