Was not in hide been muggled found contents nearby log is very wet. Needs some attention!
Found the hole where the cache lived, looked around and found cache contents un garbage bin in cliplock bag, placed contents in hide for owner to recover. The log book is extreamly wet and container is missing
A quick find in the pouring rain. After a productive visit to the strawberry farm. The cache is completely water logged, including the log book. Now to get back to fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate! Nice spot and thanks for the history.
nice spot for a BBQ but little to windy today got some strawberries instead left TB
Detoured off the highway heading south for this cache. Just a couple of fishing muggles but the geokids created the necessary distraction whilst the search was undertaken. I remember fishing here as a kid only a decade or so after the ferry was removed. I'll see if I can find an old photo and upload it.
Some really great audio stories about the history of the Pacific highway, and in particular this ferry and the 1961 Port Macquarie bypass can be downloaded from the following section of the RTA website

Found at 6.40pm. Nice and quiet here today as can get very busy with fishers and picnickers. Found quickly. Nice views along the river. TNLNSL TFTC.
Having picked some strawberries at the farm up the road, we decided to continue along the road to this geocache. A nice point, although we suspect the locals use it as a late night rendevous point. Thankfully not too much rubbish. The geocache was quickly found and the log revealed a number of local muggles have found it too. Thankfully they replace it. A nice little spot.
How exciting this was our first go at Geocaching today and we found it. Great hiding spot. Geo-kids loved it and so did we. Log book filled out. Swap : Collected a little toy moose and left 2 girlpower badges
Had a bit of time to spare today so headed out to this peaceful spot. A great spot to spy on cachers coming to find "the other ramp" on the other side of the Hastings. Looking forward to coming back here for a fish
No swaps today

Due to recent flooding of the Hastings area, Cache off-line for maintainance/relocation. Thanks for your patience. DB
Found the cache purely by chance as it was revealed by the floods at Port Macquarie while visiting the hide site.
Was not sure where it came from so hid it again where found after drying out the contents.
After I later joined Goocaching, I found it has not moved much.
Not where it was originally hidden but it is now protected by a large obstruction.

Found At 16:45 This was the 6th and final Cache of a day with my geowife. Nice easy find. I have crossed the ferry twice today and while young kids love it i think bridges are great, and now I am going to use one to head home for a Beer after a great day out.
Took I Believe in Santa Badge and left Baseball puzzle game.

Another one found this beautiful autumn afternoon.
The grass has been mowed and now there are inches of cut grass covering everything. That alone made for an interesting find while the fishing muggles were out of sight on the other side of the tree.

The rain had set in again as I drove towards GZ so I was pretty confident that there would be no muggles about today....Wrong, muggle caravaners had pulled up and were exploring the area!! Decided to have a sandwich hoping they would move on. After about 10 mins the muggles disappered into the van, maybe cuppa time. Now was my chance, I quickly moved to the posted coordinates and soon had the cache in hand. This is a really good place for a cache and an even better spot to pump some yabbies and have a fish, what a pity our useless council hasn't mowed the grass at GZ for about 3 months, a bloody discrace. Still don't let that put anybody off this is still a top spot to visit. Thanks for the cache DragonBlood, a good one.
found on the way home from riding our little motorbike on a friends property in telegraph point.
ive been here numerous times since moving to port in 2004, always a nice place to have lunch
took fluffy chicken ,, left peg.
thankyou for the cache

Today was more of a winter's day, and didn't do this place any justice at all. With a stiff southerly blowing in off the water and black clouds there were other places I would rather have been. Back at work in the office? Not! We were on the way back from Kempsey looking at some work prospects. Geogirl was running around for a bit of cover but happily no muggles here today. Tnln sl. Great spot!
Well done Dragonblood a easy find with insider knowledge and no fishing muggles.
Went to grab this cache on Saturday afternoon but it was busier than Pitt st in Sydney so i returned on Sunday night at around 2130 hrs.Nice easy find and swapped the Simpsons keyring for an Australia keyring.TFTC DragonBlood.
TFTC. Great location and spot. 2nd to find yippee....oh wel might be first at some other point in time! TN. Left compass ring and simpsons key ring.
Found at 10.30pm GAFF1. Now this is a great effort for a first cache! A nice traditional with the hide not being too ambitious (although it didn't just sit up and say here I am, let me tell you), a lovely location with some history, the terrain/difficulty rating accurate and the co-ords were deadly accurate as well - all in all a great first cache.
We learned about the Dennis Bridge as it caused some controversy in the area - the local shopkeepers thought the town would die after it was by-passed and some actually sold after the bridge was opened. Also the community was not too pleased that the bridge was named after some DMR engineer rather than a local pioneer or dignitary - could have been called the Allman Bridge.
Thanks DragonBlood for a nice outing and hunt and for the FTF prize.

Found it....
3rd to find (pipped at the post by RocketBabe)....
Arrived adjacent GZ to find a fisher family picnicing between us & GZ...
As geokids wandered the foreshore chasing crabs etc muggles packed up & moved on...
Quick dash & cache retrieved......
By the time geokids had inspected contents @ I signed the log another muggle & son pulled up to begin fishing...
A bit of family theatrics to provide cover as cache was replaced & we were away...
TNLNSL
Thanks DragonBlood a worthy 1st hide for you....[^]
