### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi there Cache Owner,

It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue with the placement. The cache is being temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.

Whilst it is recognized that as a result of the current COVID19 situation, it might not be possible for a Cache Owner to just pop out and check on a cache, we still need to know that you are on top of the issue.

CO's of caches disabled during the current COVID19 crisis will be given some extra time to react. Caches where the cache owner does not currently feel it is safe to maintain will not be archived in the normal time frame, as long as there is some indication from the CO. **Don't let a lack of communication kill this cache.**

#What should you do:-#
- Should the regional Health and State Government requirements allow it **AND** you feel it safe for you to maintain this cache now, please feel free to do so. Don't forget to log an 'Owner Maintenance ' log and also Enable the cache once the issue is fixed.

- **Alternatively,** what you need to do is place a Write Note log indicating a date when you you expect you might be able to attend to the issue/s.

#Please Note#
When the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment from the CO as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.

**JUST A HINT:-** In case you are not aware, there is a new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own. Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)

Thanks for you cooperation,

Bunjil

This cache need checking - area has been burnt and if not completely destroyed may at least need maintenance.
Not certain if CO is still active but hopefully someone restores - this area needs the caches

Was out this way adding to and maintaining the Border Loop Series and thought I would check on a couple of these (and if position claim some point for the Memory Lane challenge). unfortunately it is not to be. This part of Pine Mountain doesn’t look to be burnt as badly as some (in fact thought might have escaped altogether) but at arrival at GZ lots of burnt and fallen timber. no hint here so struggled around looking at the obvious spots. if it is here it is well burnt - I suspect it may have been on the sign and now has been replaced.
A maintenance log will be made here (I fear the others on the hill are also gone).
TFTC anyway

A 3 day circuit from Canberra, to Jindabyne, to Khancoban, to Walwa, to Wodonga and back to Canberra to find a few specific high D/T caches, picking up a few others on the way.
After an epic overnight adventure on Davis Plain Track to find a couple of high DT caches, I headed for 'Up the Bluff', with a few quick stops on the way. I then headed for 'Pine Mountain' with a couple more quick stops. Cache easily found. TFTC.

No walking up mountains for us today! Happy to collect this cache nearby to the walking track. SL at 4.58pm Took: eraser. Left: a new log sheet for future visitors. #5092 Thanks for this meander along Cudgewa Bluff Road The Britto’s - on a much cooler day we may attempt some of the walks in this area. Now it is back to the Corryong pub for a drink and some dinner.

Yesterday and today I was in Walwa with my brother in law, cleaning up some damaged fences and a fallen tree on his property there.
We finished up this morning and I has just enough time to grab two caches south of Walwa, but not enough time for any more unfortunately. Maybe next time.
This one was also found pretty quickly although the GPS did lead us on a merry dance for a while. Until I spotted a likely location from the other side of the road. After I located the cache, the GPS fully agreed with the location.
Nobody likes a smart arse GPS. Some unloving collected here too.
One day I'll go up Pine Mountain.
**Thanks for placing this cache The Britto's**

We were going to give this one a miss as it was starting to get late in the afternoon and we wanted to get back to camp in Walwa for dinner. As we got closer, however, it got the better of us and we ended up taking the short detour down the road and grabbing it. The GPSr gave us a little grief here as it wouldn't settle in one spot. We eventually used some caching logic to come up with the goods.
TFTC.

Ahhh Queens birthday monday and we need 18 finds to make 500. We had planned a run today to finish on pine mountain as our 500th but our namesake was a bit sick so the plans changed. Well this was going to be our 499th cache but instead it is our 496th. Thanks The Britto's

A pretty quick find once we decided to use Skullracings Coords. Should have gone with our gut instincts up front, as that is exactly where we thought it should be.
Great area - didn't have time today to climb the hill, so will try to get back another day.
TFTC
Cheers

Used Skullracings coords to make the find for this one, got us within a few meters. We both stepped over it before BigEz made the find.
Only been to this spot once before, to do a walk with Marcus Vitruvius to find Pine Mountain. It truly is a magnificent monolith and can't wait to walk it again.

TFTC, Cheers

Out & about with DJ Rascal, and used skullracings co'ords to locate the cache.
We've driven past this spot a few times now, thanks to caching, and look forward to doing the climb one day.
Many thanks The Brittos. TNLN SL

#922 @ 7.40pm. WOO HOO FTF. This is on the start of a walking track that we would like to do sooner that later - apparently it is really good but are we fit enough for it [?].....time will tell I guess. This one took us a while to locate as the co-ords had us out a little bit so we've taken another set & future cachers may wish to try a happy medium - at 4m accuracy we took S 36 01.662 E 147 47.340. TNLSNL TFTC The Britto's and the comprehensive cache info [^]

PS> Dad was trying to answer a call of nature here (No.1's) & was mid yell when he discovered a vehicle approaching.....his trouble was to stop the yell as it was well established and wasn't finished just yet. Thankfully the yell ceased in the nick of time before the car passed, the occupant being none the wiser of what they had nearly encountered Big Grin.
