15:19After attending today's Central Vic get-together, n0w0rries and I considered a surprise visit to Ararat, but chose to stay local around Bendigo instead. While working on reducing the number of partially completed Adventures, we stumbled upon this.So of course the challenge was accepted. This worked pretty well in the scheme of things, as one or the other of us had an Adventure Lab to answer at most of the waypoints. It was, of course, a relief when the checksums worked. Now, there was a moment of trepidation as we approached the coordinates of the cache, because there was a vehicle parked in the scrub about double the distance from the road... but the owner was busy sluicing facing the other direction, with his car shielding is from view.In the end, a quick find, bang on the coordinates. Thanks to The Morris for this cache, (and claybol for working hard to keep it in play).#9404
I have looked at this multi on a few previous visits to Bendigo but never had the patience for caches with lots of waypoints.Today, following on from the meet up event, we changed our plans.Instead of heading out to Ararat, we decided to cache here in Bendigo. This multi fit in well with our other efforts. We were finishing off a few AdLabs that one or the other had started on prior visits to the area. Some of the waypoints had us a little concerned, but when we tried the checksums, all seemed in order. At GZ, the cache was soon found thanks to accurate coordinates. Thank you to The Morris for creating this awesome multi, and thanks also to claybol for keeping it in play.It was nice to catch up with you at the event.
Out in Bendigo today while my car is serviced, on a mission to complete the A-Z Challenge. Thanks for the V I do believe it is my last letter. I think a coffee is next while I add the last letters to my log, then off to the Challenge cache. TF placing.
After our quick trip home we arrived back in Bendigo, looking forward to a bit more relaxed time with a mixture of caching and sightseeing. It was raining overnight again but fine this morning so we took the opportunity to get out in the afternoon once things had dried out a bit. That was very optimistic as most of the caches we sought were on bush tracks and quite muddy.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache claybol.**SKI Pair****
Dropped by to check on this one today. The log-book had dried out, but I placed it in a new zip-lock bag for some extra protection. All good!
Found after camping out in Wellsford State Forest near Bendigo for the night and traveling westward through the towns of Tarnagulla, St Arnaud, Rupanyup, Horsham and Dimboola before stopping at Kiata Campround for our last night on the road. Thanks for the cache claybol!
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. In Bendigo for a very brief visit as we wend our way towards Canberra for the Mega.TFTC The Morris (adopted by claybol) [^]
Today we have headed back to Bendigo to do our best to find caches that have 10 plus favourite points to get us started on the new challenge we have been set by headquarters. We have been fortunate with the rain and have had mostly a dry day. All the caches that we found are in good condition. SL TFTC

Back in Bendigo with Rebel Acts for a few days of caching fun, It's great to see so many new caches around town.
The weather wasn't the kindest ,sun was absolutely baking but still had a great day of caching.
Cheers for the cache.

I had been thinking about a trip to Bendigo for over a month so that I could find My centroid cache and with an event in town this weekend plans were made to do a few days caching with My good mate Omegaman1971.There are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles.
This is one of the caches found today. Thanks for the tour.

Found cache and signed log with dalerious .
We were here for an event held by a local cacher, and this was her first event. May she put on many more.
dalerious and I, along with Cybergran V and LizzieandE then headed off to undertake a multi by the CO of the event, and it was a beauty. Felt like the begginings of a young Romax in the making .
We said our goodbye's to the elders of the family to venture off and complete a couple of lab caches for me, and on to complete a trifecta of larger multicaches that suited the day completely .
Each caches waypoints were spot on and although there were many waypoints to visit, the information for them was gleaned without a hitch.
Please excuse my generic log for these 3 multis, but as everything was spot on, and they are 3 awesome multi's the logs would have been very similar anyway .
Thank you claybol for taking on caches by The Morris and the legendary Romax, and thank you emmkayye for following in their footsteps.

After attending a very successful "Mid-Autumn Festival" event with catnap777, we continued on with our other reason/excuse for coming to Bendigo.
Our goal was to attempt a few of the longer "old school" multi caches that we never seemed to have time for on any other visit to this fun city and this was one I had taken more than one glance at over the years.
As we made our way around this old cache that has been lying in wait for us for about as long as Cat' and I have been caching combined, we kept getting this overwhelming feeling of déjà vu.
We soon realised that we had previously visited just about every one of the waypoints chasing information for other Bendigo caches we had found.
TFTC The Morris, and thanks for looking after it claybol. [^]

We had collected the first answer while at the Central Deborah mine and did the rest as a virtual tourist. Some of the answers required careful consideration and the questions need to be readied carefully. But finally some coordinates for the final. The location seemed OK but a check of all answers resulted in the same spot and as the checksums were correct all should be Good. Today we are in the area and a quick search located the cache. In fact the spotted the likely hide from a few metres away. Thanks to The Morris/claybol for the cache.
Thank you so much The Morris, this was a extremely interesting multi cache. I was impressed with the history of Bendigo and the output of gold
I'm giving a fav point. It took me 4 evenings to get all the data on foot after dinner each night so was very disappointed when first GZ was wrong. After a small amendment so the checksum was correct drove out to the GZ today to sign log. Greetings from the Blue Mountains.

A fabulous day of caching with Posums around Bendigo saw us at this cache. Many many trips for this one but slowly collected over time and ticked off today. Bendigo is a fabulous place with so much history. Many thanks for the cache
A friend in Bendigo was hosting lunch to celebrate her birthday.
I decided to go earlier and complete this Virtual Tourist multi.
The cache brought back memories of living in Bendigo as a child.
Thanks for the tour and the cache The Morris and claybol.

Staying up at Castlemaine for the weekend and I mentioned to GemmaSistema that I would be staying up this way, so Gemma made a trip up to here and we met up in the morning and then spent a fantastic day around the outer suburbs of Bendigo.
Plenty of laughs, Bush tracks, a couple of Lab caches thrown in and of course lots of other caches found along the way, ending with a couple of pizzas for tea in the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens
A great day out was had.
This one was worked out over a period of time as I was never up this way to be able to find all of the way points in one go.
So we were finally able to complete this one today.
Thanks The Morris & Claybol TFTC.

Thank you Claybol for the interesting hide cache and entertaining puzzle. Brian and I really enjoyed it.
Since the Cathedral is closed to the public and the number of eagles at the main altar was unclear regardless, I've changed the calculation at this waypoint. The address of the Cathedral is clearly shown on the sign in front of the Cathedral (and can be found using Google), so hopefully this will make things easier for people to obtain the correct number for B.
Started this multi this morning but had to stop half way through to get my 2nd covid vaccine.
Before side effects (if any) kick in I went out and finished gathering the information I needed.
Parking in the carpark outside the supermarket in Epsom I found that my south co-ordanants were a little off and after reading Riddell's comment about the Cathedral I googled images of the inside and found the right number I needed.
I was lucky to get into the Cathedral at all . It's closed to the public at the moment due to covid. Unknowingly I found a side door open and went in. Got what I thought was the right information (some of the Eagles seem to be missing) before a worker came over and asked me if I was a guest. When I explained I was doing a "scavenger hunt" she said "that's sounds like fun but you can't be here" before escorting me out.
Oops.
Had a great time seeing some historical sights around the town I've lived in for comming onto 10 years.
Thanks for the cache

We enjoyed travelling around and finding the answers.
We were very grateful that we could continue to travel in one direction for the information and not play hop scotch!
We had a bit of an issue with one of our figures… the Cathederal was closed and Mrs Riddell was able to extract the information from ‘a man of the cloth’ .
He was adamant about his figures and their positions… after, correcting an error and then consulting the CO, we realised that this was the waypoint of contention … and the result differed to the ‘man of the cloth’! ….. go figure!!!
Finding the cache was no problem.
TFTC and some waypoint assistance without which we would not have succeeded.

We have been visiting Bendigo for many years and so knew most of the landmarks. What a great effort to highlight them and make a cache that really shows the interesting places that the city has to offer.
We then headed off to one of the landmarks that was not highlighted - Dan Murphy's and bought amongst other wines a Passing Clouds Pinot Noir from Kilmore! It was really good for the price and delicious!
Thanks The Morris.

Leaving Ballarat very early we hit Bendigo to attend a local Event, grab the virtual and continue our way slowly through the multitude of multi's this town has to offer. We were able to work our way through many waypoints before the morning sun started to heat up and get uncomfortable but nothing was going to stop us in completing the Midland Hwy tour. With all data collected at each of the interesting locations ( we just love Bendigo) we came up with some numbers that the GeoChecker agreed with. The cache was then located in its safe hiding location and our team names added to the logbook.
Thanks The Morris for being such a great tour guide of your lovely home town.

Thank you so much for the effort you put in this multi. It was absolute enjoyable. Thank you
After attending a family wedding the previous day, I had a spare day in Bendigo before leaving for Adelaide. I started by targeting a few caches around the city before finishing the alphabet series I had started yesterday. All caches were found in good condition.

An excuse to go caching with omegaman, Snap Happy and the Empire while finding some of the lost jewels from the museum, up here around Bendigo. Picking up some great gems and different hides along the way. Most of the logs were signed Team Happy.
This was a neat little multi. I had been picking the pieces off, each time I visited. Then what I didn't have Snap Happy had found, so after getting together we soon had what was needed, to make this nice find. Given a fav.
Thanks The Morris for all the effort of placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play

Out cleaning up some Bendigo caches to complete the Mystery at the Museum souvenir.
Out caching with *Happy Feet*, *The Empire* and *OmegaMan*
A well laid out multi which I had managed to grab bits and pieces of it each time I visited family in town. Great to finally check it off the list
Thanks for the cache The Morris. Appreciate your efforts.

Toady we moved to Bendigo stopping at the caravan park for a few days.
We decided to do the Alphabet series being the closest caches to where we are staying.
This tour also started not far from here, some of the tourist locations we have visited over the numerous trip to Bendigo.
No time to stop to shop, just get the numbers & move along.
FP as a great way to see your wonderful city.
Thanks for placing this cache The Morris

Few of the clues could have had many possible answers and finding the right cactus garden stumped us for a bit, but we eventually found out where to go.
Too many variables (b, j, K, l). Can't find and address for cactus garden only for botanical gardens
As a beautiful morning dawned in Bendigo we decided to see some of the sights by geocaching. Some of them we have visited in the past, others were new. Thanks for the interesting information along with each waypoint. Although, we did have to google the lectern answer as I didn’t want to disturb the service that was happening. Thanks for the cache, we love these types.
Started this but don't enjoy multis that have ambiguous answers. Quit at The Shamrock.
Travelled over to Mexico with Brisal5 and Anymules.
We were over the Parkville mega.
This was the leg of our Journey.
Stayed in Bealiba for 3 days.
this one took longer than it should have to gather the info.
A quick find for us today.
Signed the logbook BAS!

Day 10 of our epic 12 day / 10 night trek to the Parkville Mega in Melbourne.
The constant was my travel companions for the entire trip, - Anymules and S.A. Sewer Rats.
We had set up digs in Bealiba for our three night stay. [8)]
Today our target was to cache our way to Bendigo for the challenge caches and some of the puzzles we had solved prior to coming over. [8)]
Well this took a bit longer than we thought. If we keep doing the multi caches we wont have any time left to get to the puzzles. But since we started we followed it through to the end and found the cache.

We have had the coordinates for this one for a week now but haven’t been out to do the final collect of the cache. Geoson 6 found it super quick. We had help with one of the numbers, otherwise we did well. We did try doing most of it at home but went out and did exploring to be sure of the right numbers. TFTC was a great multi exploring Bendigo.
We started this one yesterday, in the company of Frog Lady and the Bearded Muggle, but got stuck at the Cathedral, where the Bishop was holding a service (it was Sunday, after all). Today we sorted out the information at the other waypoints and got a heads-up from the CO about the number that should have been visible at the church, had we been able to stroll around and investigate without disturbing the scene.
A drive to an interesting area, followed by a brief walk from the car towards GZ resulted in a neat find.
Container and camo are in good order.
Thank you for introducing us to a few landmarks in Bendigo, where we never cached before! Favourite point for the informative tour.

Today I set out on a massive mission to get as many GeosportZ points in the GCA Olympics Challenge as possible as well as attending (Hosting) the Geocaching Melbourne 3 Months to the Mega event in St Arnaud and driving the ~300k's back home. Luckily I was joined by one of my Co-Hosts in LouiseAnn to make the day more fun The weather was looking OK until we mentioned it and then we got some rain, but not so much that we couldnt go caching
We needed a 5 point multi for the GCA Modern Pentathalon Event. It took about an hour to gather all the numbers for GZ and after some dinner at the local indian (Yummo) we headed for the cache. We had some thoughts of incorrect numbers but were very happy when we arrived at GZ and the cache was right there.

This cache was a bit of a marathon effort. We picked up the first clue at about 5.30pm just as the sun was sinking, we then proceeded to collect clues right up until about 6:30, when the second last clue being closed and our hunger put a halt to proceedings. We then had dinner and I put in a few phone calls to obtain the missing information. After we ate, we headed out to collect the cache. We picked this cache up at 8:06pm. I have to say we were pretty pleased, as this cache was crucial to our attempt to claim GeosportZ - Modern Pentathlon event.
ahomburg and I were headed to St. Arnaud for the 3 months to the Surf Coast Event. We started out bright and early and cached until midnight, but which point, I was pretty broken. We had a great day!! Not heaps of caches, but all for the cause of our GeosportZ claims. I completed 7 events for the day, and ahomburg a few more.
Thanks for the cache The Morris.

Mission 2 completed. With no caches back in my home town to get for this mission. I made a short list of interesting multi caches in the Bendigo area.
So after hitting a couple of shops the hunt was on.
I had found some of the information for this on online but still had to do a lot of driving around to gather the missing bits. Along with this one we were also collecting info for a couple other long multi caches in the Bendigo area.
This cache was an intersting was to see some of the sights of Bendigo and we were so glad that GZ was away from the city life

A trip to Bendigo with FUF009 to locate a couple of multi's for the week-ends mission. This was our second multi for the day, and we allowed ourselves plenty of time to do this one. Today was a day of driving all over the place to get answers for multi's.
Was able to park near the final and only had a short walk to locate it. Log signed and off we went to tackle our next one that FUF009 had on his' to do' list for the day, seeing how we had time for one more.

Mistermagee and I did this one 'in situ' driving around Bendigo. Most of the information was fairly easily found, although it wasn't all completely straightforward. After the last WP we parked and tried the geochecker , but no luck It took quite some time analysing where we had gone wrong, and 8 tries later, we eventually were successful. Not easy! After that, the cache was quickly found. TFTC!
Away on a geocache weekend to Bendigo with diana8 and JulesC21. Our goal is to find 30 multis in the month of June. This was number 17 for the weekend and number 6 for Sunday.
Most of the info was quickly obtained and eventually diana8 and I started to extract the final coords. A few sites had info that we weren't quite sure about, but even after trying several combinations in the checker, we were coming up short and unable to obtain confirmation of a solution.
Reading the logs revealed a clue that suggested a different answer to a question and then suddnely we saw "CORRECT". Woo hoo!
A short drive later were were at the final and the cache was soon in hand. Very happy to nab this one after a bit of work. TFTC

After having spent some wonderfully relaxing time at Wakiti Creek Resort with Sewthat and Honeysucker, muggle partner and I decided to undertake the Lake Eildon GeoTour, accompanied by Brodie.
I'd heard about the GeoTour in detail at a meeting in Nuriootpa about a year ago when I first met Clever Monkey and since the GeoTour sounded so awesome, I'd wanted to do it ever since! [^]
It took us 3 days and we had lots of Ooohhhh moments while enjoying the scenery, a couple of Oh No what have we got ourselves into[?] moments while getting to caches, some Why can't we find the cache[?] moments thanks to cache thieves and some amazingly ongoing and supportive communication from CM throughout which was hugely appreciated [^]
Now that muggle partner has experienced some of the beauty in this area, I have much more chance of getting him back here again for an extended stay
Now it is time for a mad dash back to Adelaide so that we can attend a combined birthday party for 2 of the grandchildren tomorrow at 2pm
We found a total of 6 caches on the way back as muggle partner allowed me to find Melbourne's 1st as well as 3 caches in the Bendigo area so that I can complete the Bendigo A - Z challenge
Unless mentioned otherwise, please know that your cache and log book was in good condition.
This cache starts with a letter which I needed for the Bendigo A - Z challenge and so it was the third of my 3 targets for tonight.
Thank you so much for placing it and allowing me to meet that challenge
Over several trips to this area and with the assistance of good old GE, I managed to get some coords that looked feasible and so we drove in tonight, in light mist in patches, to find this as the final cache of our journey home.
I chose this cache because it was about the only V that I had a hope of getting a solution for [^]

In Bendigo just for the afternoon/evening, we made sure to grab a few caches on our travels around town. A nice quick find here after a short walk. Found with boo09 & becca85. TFTC
In Bendigo for the day, we made sure to grab a few caches along the way. Mum had solved this one so we took the chance to grab it today. Found with becca85 & neisha07. TFTC
In Bendigo for my god-daughters birthday, we made sure to grab a few caches. We've exhausted all within a 30-40 minute drive of home so always make time when we're out and about. We might fill our 366 one day!
I'd solved this one earlier this month but hadn't yet had a chance to grab it. Today was the day and we made a nice quick find once at GZ.
Dropped off a TB also. Found with chan02 and neisha 07. TFTC The Morris

At last. Been looking at this one and then ignoring it for a bit too long. I decided it was time to tick it off the list and with a final hint from the CO for one of the numbers that I was messing up stupidly I had a set of numbers and time today to find the cache and sign the log.
Thanks The Morris' for a detailed fun cache that can play a few tricks on the unwary.

I came up with an answer to all the questions a few weeks ago, but GeoChecker was doing strange things and I couldn't confirm the coordinates. So I took off hoping my coordinates were correct but returned home empty-handed. After sending a message to the CO to hopefully verify my coordinates one way or another, I discovered that 2 of my numbers were, indeed, wrong. Finally I had the chance to search the correct area this evening and found the cache straight away. Thanks for the cache The Morris, as well as the journey along the Midland Highway that was required to get there!
Logging my "Found " today but found it a month or so ago and must have forgoten to log it. It was interesting to visit all the locations to track down the required information, and then finding that I had to backtrack and check some of the questions and then go on again.
Being locals and seeing the sites many times we went the easy root and used google earth but were stuck on one particular question but couldnt pin point which, so off we went for a drive and soon had discovered which one had tricked us on google earth. Put in the co-ordinates for GZ only to find we had to dive all the way pretty much back to our house! Gave us a bit of a laugh. This was a very well put together mulit, well done The Morris' TFTC

Each time I have visited Bendigo in the last 12 months I have researched this multi a bit more, slowly adding figures until I thought I had compiled a complete set of coordinates, but one figure was incorrect. Before driving over here again I contacted the cache owner to query that figure, she said I was correct and so we set forth. Now was the time to finalise it, because I desperately needed a V for the A-Z Challenge. Thanks for putting this one here, Muggle Hubby and I have learnt a lot about Bendigo from doing this challenge, and found another nice little spot when we finally discovered and logged the cache.
Found with emthegem. I had worked out the GZ virtually some time ago and today decided to try and find the cache. After a bit of a drive we soon found the cache and signed the log. Thanks for the multi.
Found with doormatt. I had previoisly been to all the sites but never got to gz. It was a nice quick find. Thanks for the cache.
After a couple of corrections I finally had the numbers align correctly so went to collect the cache today. When I parked as close to GZ as I could I realised I was in the right place at last I thought I knew Bendigo fairly well as I has lived nearby for several years, but I found out things that were new to me. Enjoyed the tour and giving it a fav point. This is also the final letter of the alphabet I need to qualify for the A- Z Bendigo challenge. TFTC The Morris
Our last day caching around the Bendigo area, for the time being.
With such good quality hides, we are looking forward to returning.
Another epic journey around Bendigo, as we visited each WP and collected the information.
Geocaching is such a great hobby for the tourist, thanks for showing us around town.
Also, thanks for placing this cache, The Morris, for us and others to find.

Well this was going to be a day out finding some of the caches that have been on the list for a while and a couple of new ones.
We were in the great company of Bushfire today as we were enjoying the delights of a late Winter visit to Bendigo
Bushfire and Suscoe had worked out these clues and came up with some numbers but couldn't get the checker to agree for a while until some clearer info appeared regarding one of the spots.
With this now sorted we headed for the GZ and there was the cache just waiting for we tourists to arrive.
The log was signed and away we went.
Thanks to The Morris for placing this well constructed cache, a favourite from Suscoe.

Woke up this morning to a very white, cold bleak outlook but I am sure it will improve later.
In Bendigo for a few days to add some smileys on as many mysteries, multi's and a few traditionals. Plus a few cache needed for my A to Z challenge and this was one.
The suscoe cachers and the ageing Bushfire have the full range of caching gear with the exception of the kayaks and the wheels to get us to most locations, carrying all the technical gear you could think of.
Found all the necessary answers yesterday but the checker did not agree but without going back to the church we found out our problem which may happen to the next searchers!!!
Did not use the internet for any answers maybe we should have.
Cache located, signed and we were on our way.

Worked this out while running about Bendigo last week, returned today to pick up grandson, had a spare hour so had to go in search for it as it is the last letter we need for the A to Z challenge, hope to do the challenge when returning the grandson after his little stay with grandma. TFTC area a bit damp but cache was nice and dry and in great condition
This puzzle was solved by The Lookabouts with the help of a PAF to confirm one of the answers. We overshot the runway when approaching GZ and had a 100m walk. The cache was located I great condition with plenty of good quality swaps. Thanks for the puzzle and the hide the Morris.
We earmarked this one a few weeks ago when we were planning a run to Bendigo this weekend. Lookabouts Mum was commissioned to work on this one. We made our way to GZ which we found to be surprisingly located given the beautiful and iconic Bendigo landmarks required for this multi. Thanks for the hide The Morris.
This was the puzzle I got to help with, still needed some assistance with one of the answers - was great to see the landmarks as we drove around Bendigo on our weekend away - thanks for the puzzle and the hide The Morris!
Lookabouts worked on this one, we made our way to GZ and soon spied the cache. Thanks The Morris.
Thanks Lookabouts for solving this one. Nice bush walk to GZ , had cache in hand fairly quickly. Thanks
Out and about with Tassie Trekkers on the way to the Oz Mega. Seeing it was wet we googled a few answers, jumped aboard the talking tram and checked out a few more. A great multi which showed us around Bendigo along with the details supplied. Located GZ in the rain and signed log. TFTM deserves a favourite
Found on our "Making Memories" Tour of Mainland Australia.
Today we teamed up with whitewebbs caching our way to the Oz Mega. While staying a few days in Bendigo we found this cache. Took a ride on the tram and googled the clues to complete this tour. A great way to see Bendigo especially on a rainy day. Once at GZ made a quick find. Adding to our favourites. TFTC

I took the virtual tour while in Bendigo for 3 wks.
Found it after recalculating the numbers which wasn't right the first place.
Thanks so much for an interesting journey and glad to put "V" re: Alphabet Challenge.
One more to go.

By the end of yesterday we had found 20 of the 26 required caches for the A-Z Challenge Bendigo - we had found 15 on a previous visit to Bendigo and 5 yesterday. Our first priority today was to try to find the remainder and to look for the challenge cache. with 5 now required, "V" was our next target and this was the cache we chose for the challenge requirements.
We had collected some of the data for the multi during our previous brief visit to Bendigo and tried to collect the remainder using Google Earth. We couldn't, however, get a positive response from geochecker.com despite several rechecks of the data. We contacted the cache owner who kindly and quickly corrected the once piece of incorrect information. Then we got the tick of approval.
Today we went to look for the cache and accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and it's contents were in good condition. Thanks for an interesting multi The Morris and for your assistance - greatly appreciated. 4 to go!

# 2910. Well this was an interesting virtual tour. So many places so familiar after numerous journeys to and through Bendigo. Who could ever forget the Shamrock, the Fountain, the Cathedral or the Deborah Mine. This has been my initiation to Google Earth and Street View. A great learning experience. Came up with all the answers, verified by Robmc who has solved it previously. The spire of the Cathedral we spied from Big Hill on our first day and on our way home to Melbourne, from Parallel Lines. We almost had lunch in the Botanic Gardens and we had a virtual hot dog at Lake Weroona. Arrived at GZ and made a quick find here. Thanks for the virtual journey and a "V" cache for the Alphabet Challenge, The Morris.
Found at 11.15am. I took the virtual tour whilst at work during the week. I was able to find all info, except for one, which i was out by one with. Had a guess with this figure on geochecker, and had success. I needed one for the calender, and this easy find is it. As I'm using the phone to do the logging, the date will record as the 12th, and not the 13th. This will be amended later today. TFTC.

Well this took me a while! I originally started this one months ago on a drive through Bendigo and then later finished the coords virtually via google, but I had made a miss-count at one point and there was no cache at my calculated GZ, so I put it on the back burner for another day.
Yesterday I decide to fire up GSAK and see what I still needed to do for the A-Z challenge. All I needed was "V" & "Q"
I had another look at my workings for this cache and with fresh headspace quickly worked out where I went wrong the first time The cache was quickly found (not to far from my original search LOL)
Thanks The Morris for a great multi.
Now for the Quandary of the letter "Q"

Found by Mary & David at 1039. We've been checking off the various waypoints progressively for a while. Many are favourites of ours that we've visited regularly over many years. Today we determined to finish it. Always good to find a container to verify our maths. This is a great cache for visitors that showcases some of Bendigo's iconic locations. Our thanks to The Morris.
Heading home from GSAK workshop & Pizza lunch.
At least we didn't have to get out of the car for most waypoints.

After beta testing the cache from Willy, I have finally got around to looking for it. Can you believe it, I wrote the co-ords down wrong - I was 70 meters out. With new co-ords it was an easy find.
Thanks, Robmc.

25/02/12 2:36 PM Find #775 It's very hot and dry here today. Whew, water would be nice. Found while out on a day out caching with Square Pegs in and around Bendigo. Cache is in good condition. TFTC.
Having visited Bendigo many times when I was younger, many of the places were familiar to me. There are some amazing old buildings here, it was a pleasure to come back and visit this lovely city. We completed the tour today, and made the find at GZ on a hot summer day. Thanks for the cache.
Have been trying to solve this one since it was published. Had thought the number of skinny palms was a trick question, as St Killians doesn't actually border McIvor Highway! TFTC and the challenge.
Worked the co-ordinates out a little while back but just hadn't been over to collect. Picked up today, TFTC!
We had been to WP1 before but that did not help us with the answer so a revisit was in order. This is a fascinating mine and we bet when it first started back in 1939 no would have ever dreamt it would still be working at such great depths. WP2 was quite easy as we had been looking at this church earlier today and were both confident of the answer. We did not realist most churches were oriented East West though, every day is a school day. WP3 we have walked and driven past many times but still had to revisit to get this answer. WP4 We were impressed with the building here and read through the honor role before heading off a little more somber. WP5 It is strange a hotel started out as a restaurant but one established it seem it kept coming back no matter what, and has also had some famous visitors over the time. It seemed like a good place to have a refreshing drink but the dragon lady was hot on the trail of the cache so it will have to wait for another time. WP6. Another great building with a lot of history attached, 100 years as a post office is no mean feat and we still think this building looks better than the new post office. WP7 This is another great building, not often a stone building is replaced by a wooden one. After all the work Father Henry Backhaus put into both the churches it is good to see he is still here, looking this one. WP8 it is good to see this area holding water again, it would also make it easier on the rowing club during events. WP8 we have always enjoyed these gardens either for the caches that have been hidden in or near or just a place to have a stroll and see what has changed. Much quicker visit today as we did not even get out of the car. WP9 We had not heard nor visited this location so it was a good stop, although a fairly quick one. It is amazing how a place like this ended up exporting to so many places around the world. We will be back to have a better look at these gardens. WP10 What a great success story, looking for gold and finding clay, and prosperity it seems. Another very interesting location. Now off to see how we went, but had to stop for a couple of caches on the way. At GZ we were rewarded with a fairly quick find right where the GPSr said it should be.
Thanks The Morris for a very enjoyable and well set out multi

It is a pleasure to return to a familiar city and recognize the way points as actual locations. As we cached around Bendigo during the day we were able to collect relevant numbers along the way.
Some of the answers tricked us - perhaps that is the difference between presumption and verification!
All came up trumps after a few predictions, some qualification and some sage advice.
