The flies were very friendly here and I think I would have found the cache faster if there werent so many Now time to fly away and head for home TFTC tigersden Keep smiling
Only the soon to be turned off 3G was available here, and was slow. So I jumped out into the drizzle and looked in the logical spot. And there it was! Thanks Tigersden for being finder friendly.
Quick find with tassie expat while passing through. Accurate coords and in good condition. Thanks for putting a cache here, interesting history.
Came to find a cache in London and here it is. Found in the dark with a set of good coordinates. The cache is all safe and secure . Thanks Tigersden for the cache..
Found with LittleBoss2 and Geo the puppy after buying a coffee machine in Newbridge. Wonder wren the last game of tennis was played here. Thanks tigersden
Driving from Melvilles Caves to Kangaroo flat, I was looking to leave a TB near a road. Sadly it wouldn't fit into this container but a lovely stop. We watched the newborn lambs for while. Still seems odd to me, lambing in the autumn. Many thanks
A bit of a detour on my way to my car service today. A quick find and another VIC LGA ticked off the list. TNLN. TFTC
First for the day as I spend the day looking for trigs, with a few stops here and there for caches. Beautiful misty morning.
On a road trip to Bendigo and today we took the GeoMum out for a drive on this lovely sunny winters day. We stopped to find this cache on our way back to Bendigo. With spot on coordinates, we parked the geo4WD right next to GZ, Mrs Pooky jumped out and made a quick easy find in the obvious spot. We also checked out the monument, the cairn and the building. TFTC, the history and showing us this area. TNLN.
Camping at Newbridge for the long weekend, we decided we would nick across to Bendigo to check out the markets, then visit the Victoria Hill Historical Area. On the way back we stopped in Marong to pick up a couple more caches, then back to Newbridge via the back roads.
This was a great location to bring us to. We admired the plaque and the cairn that the local community has worked together to produce, which gave us an insight into historical sites that once existed out here. TFTC tigersden.

It’s time to head north for the long weekend to camp on the loddon river. There is no rain forecast which means that a roaring fire will keep us all cozy.
I stopped to grab this cache on my way through. The sun had almost set, but it was easy to find this hidden cache.
Thanks tigersden for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

With Mrs P and daughter heading home a day early due to the wet weather I now had a day all to myself to cache to my hearts' content! So I chose to take a tour of the region and see some parts I haven't travelled to before. This was my first stop, a quick find at the obvious location. Thx tigersden, cache all good even in the wet.

Quick find on the way home from Bendigo. Tennis was being played at the time so we were very stealthy!
I have just watched the last of a beautiful sunset from this place. Thanks for bringing me here.
Last cache of the day and a stress free drive by found quickly signed and replaced...TFTC

Heading away for a weekend of caching in St Arnauds with Ghihash, Locus Cache and the pups.
We managed to doge the rain over the weekend and stay dry and warm; and still get 50 caches and only have one minor miss hap where we miss judged how close a pole was to the car oops
Ghihash knocked up 400caches and we managed to get a couple of the night caches done

Found easily enough, but I wondered why a topless Merc pulled up, but he soon moved off, as did I.
We wanted to get out of the house, enjoy some sun shine and turn some caches into smilies. Nice quick drive by, however we didn't appreciate the roadkill smell nearby, eww! GeoKids stopped whinging they were hungry now haha
Always love to see a hall in the middle of no where and wonder what it’d be like when everyone visits

It has been a while since Neville devil, AusFox; and myself have been out for a big caching trip but today was the day that would change as we headed up the Calder for some caching in the Bendigo direction.
After chasing a nearby first to find AusFox; wanted to grab a cache in the next LGA so this became our target before heading for some food. When we arrived at GZ we searched and search but no cache could be found. Eventually Neville and I gave up but AusFox; was determined. He noticed that the grass was freshly cut and worked on a hunch that may be the cache was found during the cutting of the grass and tossed out. When he checked the bin there was the cache . We were then able to sign in and place the cache in the logical location.
Thank you tigersden for the cache and sorry for the late logging time gets away sometime when life gets busy

It had been a while since our last caching trip, so Simsfamily, Neville Devil and I headed up to Bendigo to tick a few boxes and visit new locations with perfect weather.
We were keen to fill a LGA on our maps so we ventured to Woodstock to hopefully make a find.
After searching for some time over the few likly locations we were about to give up.
The other two jumped in the car ready to leave, I just wanted to to put an idea to rest as the grass had just been cut, for parts of the cache cut up amongst the grass. No sign of that so for some reason I looked in the bin and spotted the cache. After bin diving the cache was in hand.
Log signed and returned cache to likely location.
Thanks for the cache tigersden

Found with Cybergran V and her MuggleHubby.
With this weekend marking the 50th anniversary of that famous Woodstock music festival, we just had to commemorate the occasion by stopping by here to sign our names recording our attendance at this namesake cache.
It was raining pretty well on our arrival at GZ but thinking of the 400,000 who braved similar conditions 50 years ago in the name of peace and love, I sucked it up and dived out to make the find.
Back in the car I asked the old man what he was doing 50 years ago and he said that he couldn't remember.
Crikey.... My dad was at Woodstock!
TFTC tigersden.
Baahahaha.

What better day to find this cache than on the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock. Even though It was raining quite heavily when we arrived here, on our way home from a great couple of days at Beaufort, dalerious braved the damp conditions to dive out and bring the container back for us to sign.
Thanks for the cache and the memories.

TFTC. A nice easy find but had to wait for ages as a group of riders where there.
On my way to the 10 month till St Arnaud event and I took a slight detour on my way there to pick up this one.
Sporting clubs are the life blood of these small farming communities and are sometimes all that exist in some of these towns.

This was a quick find after performing maintenance on the SL series. The cache was quite exposed so after signing the log I re-hid it properly. I also replaced the zip lock bag which had a large hole in it. TFTC!

We're out for a drive and to grab some geocaches. Heading from Maryborough to Bridgewater to have a pie and maybe a swim. We're using geocaching as our inspiration to tour some historic sites. Thanks
I had no intention of finding a cache today, with the kids in a parade this morning, helping out at the Highland parade canteen and fireworks this evening, there wasn't going to be time seeing as my closest un-found is 40 minutes away.
However as luck would have it, we found ourselves home early and after nap we still had several hours before needing to head back down.
I'm not generally too fussed about souvenirs but seeing as we had got the end of 2017 one yesterday, my OCD insisted we use this unexpected down time to head off and nab this one that we had noticed yesterday. Much closer to home than I had previously realised.
Thankfully a nice quick find by boo09 as we didn't have a lot of spare time to be seeking out a back-up plan.
A nice drive before heading back home for some fantastic fireworks.
TFTC Tigersden. I am very close to having notched up 100 of your caches.

Suscoe's last day in Bendigo for this trip.
Woke to a cloudy sky and a few drops of rain which disappeared very quickly making way for a sunny day.
We wandered the western side of the city with some interesting locations found as we followed the GPS.
We are already looking forward to our next trip up this way.
Thanks to tigersden for this hide, an interesting location and to think there was a cheese and butter factory near here all those years ago.

We were in the right spot until the compass led us away. We came back to the most obvious spot and a few minutes later we had the cache in hand. A nifty little hide t4tc.
The long weekend is here! JSando and I have been planning a geoweekend for several months now, with a plan to drive Mum and her yapper, Coola, to Hillbank SA and drop the off before heading down to the Yorke Peninsula. We left Mum's in Wandong at 5am 27/10/2016 and after a very long weekend, dropped JSando in Heidelberg at midnight and Mum and Coola home to Wandong at 1.30am 02/11/2016. I didn't take notes of how many caches we completed, something I'll get a nice surprise of when I log the last cache.
This cache was our first, and kicked off the weekend nicely. We loved the history here and enjoyed seeing the old buildings. The only trouble we have at historical caches, is that we spend far too much time wandering around and reading up on the information ... great for a normal day of caching, not so great at the start of a massive road trip lol
