### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there Drdroid,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).
Thanks for your cooperation,

TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Found by Mary and David at 1340. A town that time has forgotten, and a half horse town with a main street down which you could shoot the proverbial cannon. Thanks for sharing family memories, and we didn't shed too much blood here. Our thanks to Drdroid.

We thought we heard someone across the road call out to us, but then heard no more. Cache was a quick find, but need to watch out for the prickly plants.

Today marked the first day of a 3 week holiday. Being bored with racing from A to B, today I chose to do A to Z, checking everything out as I traveled to the coast. Unfortunately that meant not getting to Z at all. It took me about 7 hours to drive around 110km as the crow flies (if a crow flew in a straight line, but we all know that's never true with so much road kill to tuck into).
I mean, there are geocaches to find, rocks to check out, tracks off the main road to be explored, railway stations to wander around, old houses to adore (especially in Stuart Town), Hotels to look inside of. Haha.
This was my second find today. I replaced the log book with waterproof paper.
TFTC
This cache took me a while to spot, but once I did I was sure I found it. However, I don't know it's where it should be, so I left it where I found it rather than make presumptions.
### Trip to the bush ###
Day 1
We started our trip in Rouse Hill towards the bush region of New South Wales.
Our first stop was in Springwood where we took a little bush walk and found this letterbox in the middle of the bush. We then visited the geological sandstone attraction and informed ourselves about the geological features of this region.
We then continued our trip towards Katoomba where we enjoyed the breathtaking view over the Blue Mountains at Echo Points. We took a little walk and reached the 3 sisters form the originally 7 sisters. Now it was starting to get dark and we continued on to the town to look for a couple of more caches before finishing off the day.
Day 2
At early morning, we relaxed once more for a little while longer at Eco Point before we continued our trip towards Blackheath and Mount Victoria.
We had a little break at Lake Lyell where we visited the dam and had some snacks.
We then continued towards Ryell and high up to Mount Lambie where we were lucky to spot many animals again.
We left the main road just before Bathurst towards the quiet countryside past Peel, Wattle Flat and the historical Sofala. We had a coffee break at Sofala where we drove around the old historic town.
We then continued our drive on Hill End Road and we socked in the beautiful nature. We were lucky to see many animals on the way.
We were welcomed by many roos at Hill End.
We left Hill End and drove towards Hargreaves towards our night stop at Windeyer. We slept at Bushland Tourist Park once again in the beautiful train accommodation. We had dinner at the local pub where we had nice pasta.
Day 3
We had to first free the car from all the ice before we could start our trip towards Mudgee. It gets cold out there at night, around -1 degrees.
We drove towards the west to Wellington and Stuart Town, Mumbil, Dam Arthur and finished the day in Dubbo.
We were astonished by NSW untouched nature and beautiful wildlife.
Day 4
We started the day with a little trip outside of Dubbo’s bushalnds.
We then strolled around the city of Dubbo and visited the beautiful Botanic Graden of Dubbo. The Gardner’s put so much work into maintain this beautiful spot. Well done.
We started the trip home towards Sydney past Wellington, Mudgee and Portland.
We drove past the Mt Piper Power station and informed us about the tours.
We continued towards Sydney.
We hereby want to thank all owners for all the work you have done in maintaining the caches. You have showed us many beautiful and also many hidden spots which we wouldn’t have found without the caches.
Thank you

Fitzy_1965, SpecimenX, Sol de Lune and I (logged as "FASS") headed from Canberra to Orange and surrounds for a caching blitz over the 30-31 July weekend. We logged around 1000kms in the Geo-Jeep, selecting those caches that Fitzy had not previously found. I scored around 130 caches for the trip. The visit was characterised by blue skies, very green paddocks, lots of water off and on the road, a fair amount of mud, and good company! Still plenty of caches to collect and scenic spots to explore on a return trip. Thanks to my fellow travellers for a fun weekend, and the COs for all their efforts in putting out and maintaining the caches.
44th for the day at 1620 (119 for the trip). A fast find - dusk was almost here and we had a few more caches to find. Thanks Drdroid.

Headed out early again today for a final big run of caches before heading home to Canberra. Next stop for the day on a loop up to Wellington and back. Another quick find at GZ. Log signed, cache returned and we were off to the next one.

No muggles were around today so this made for a quick and easy find. Signing the log was quick and easy and all was then put back where it had come from. This quick and easy find was almost at the end of our day and we then continued on our way to our chosen camping place for the night. Thank you Drdroid for placing this cache and for giving us a reason to stop here.

Found near a school & with the logbook wet so added a bit of ppr as a temporary logbook to enable signing. Then had a look around & being parched, had a soda squash at the pub. Thanks.
What a quaint little spot. Never actually stopped here even though have travelled through several dozen. Signed the very wet and now mouldy log book on the inside back cover because I couldn't separate the pages. More etched then wrote. TFTC and the stop Dr Droid.

I got muggled out last time I was here so decided to have another go after doing the caches at the dam. as we walked up to the cache area, we noticed the cache out on its lonesome near GZ, looking very obvious.
Luckily I was caching with Rainforest Cookie and Ratdog12 today who brought their geodog, who hopefully made us not quite so obvious to the people across the road.
'the cache was soaked, the log bag was damp inside but the log/diary not so bad inside. we signed the log, found an even more decrepit plastic bag in our car (decided not to use it); dried off the log book and the bag as best we could and replaced the cache in the logical spot.
