Came over from New Zealand for a 6 day break. After a short journey from Katoomba where I'm staying, arrived here at Bathurst to walk right around the famous race track, starting from the train-bus station. Boy, it's sooo hot, I'm not used to this, took some getting used to.
Sorry to add myself to the DNF list, about time C.O. checked this out!

We didn't find it either and we searched everywhere I think this one may be lost because the last three people haven't found it
Found during a long weekend bike mounted assault on the caches of Bathurst. The geo-son retrieved this with a bit of help from me. Many thanks Scenic routers
Had me stumped for a little while. Maybe new log may be needed soon? Took coin and replaced it with something Cuban.
Fantastic to be in Bathhurst area with tmann421 geocaching & taking in the views.

Went down to check out preparations for the racetrack while I was in Bathurst. Not staying for the race, but grabbed this cache on the way back. Glad there was no-one waiting here.
Found it after riding the mountain with the son. man the up hill is hard. We are here for the Ben hall festival it has been fantastic the people have been very friendly. We didn't sign the log as we didn't have a pen !!!!
I am really doomed by muggles today - they're everywhere! Had to wait for the roadmarking crew to leave the area then straight in for the grab, laid my hand straight on it! Thanks
Had to come back twice the compass kept taking is to the middle of the road. Nice hide
Found this cache with The Rats as we enjoyed a nice weekend in Bathurst.
Sorry for the late log.

Heading out to Mt Panaroma today we stopped off here with not a muggle to be seen to make a quick find. I've spent many a night at the Bathurst Uni with old school friends.
Thanks
Thanks
Had to find one for today to keep the 31 days of August going, soon had it in hand. TFTC.
good day for it, and a little family of kangaroos watched us from the other side of the road.
Clever hide. Had my hand on it several times, believed it to be part of the structure :p
Took me a while to connect the title to the location! On a quit Saturday afternoon this is an easy find!!

On holiday From WA. Great day out caching in the Blayney/Bathurst area, introduced 3 new people to caching.. TFTC
Today we took my nephews (WakeyWoo) and niece out to introduce them to geocaching. We covered Blayney, the road to Bathurst and Mount Panorama. Attempted 13 caches today and managed to find 11. It was a great day with everyone pitching in to find the caches.
This was our last find for the day. Lucky my niece is tall or we would never have found this one! TFTC

Strategically called in to do this one after office hours but there was still a lot of traffic about. An easy find anyway. TFTC
Another find with pjmpjm during our day's Trig and Geocache hunt in the Bathurst area.
it was a pleasure to be back to my old Alma Mater although known by a different name at the time, "Mitchell CAE".
Luckily we had GZ all to ourselves and the cache was found after a short search.
Thank you for the cache and the great memories.

This geocache was one of more than 35 finds of all kinds-- including 16 trigs and 14 GC traditionals -- logged by rogerw3 and myself during our comprehensive tour of the greater Bathurst area this afternoon.
I struggled to locate this hide near my old 'alma mater' but rogerw3 -- harking back to his semi-pro basketball career with 'Nice United' -- quickly put his hand on it.
Luckily there were no prospective passengers waiting around . . . we would otherwise have attracted a bit of attention with our antics.
All was OK with the cache. TNLNSL.
Many thanks yet again to Scenic routers . . .

Easy find and definitely no sitting required. Just had to look casual as cars drove past

We had a full day of caching around Bathurst. Geo Hubby particularly wanted to get up the mountain to see where all his racing hero's had been.
Our GPS was out in just about all the caches in Bathurst. Able to find this one, very quiet today.
Thanks Scenic routers

Pretty obvious where it was going to be, had to use stealth while playing like a bloody monkey, would of laughed if a bus pulled up!

Road fairly hush today, sneaked across, avoided urge to sit/nap...........Found TY Scenic Routers!
# 2555. Spending the day caching around Bathurst with Robmc and what a frustrating day it turned out to be. I have decided I am definitely a rural cacher and not an urban cacher. Too many DNF's, too many caches needing owner maintenance and too many muggles.
A combination of two of my least favourite types of hides - bus stops and outside schools. Felt most uncomfortable here and had already walked back to the car on the opposite of the road. Teachers in the grounds and a worker sitting in his car nearby. Rob however persisted with climbing all over and came up with the Micro-sized hide. TFTC

A lazy day around Bathurst with Bettyboo3747
We weren't sure if we could park here as there is a stack of parking poles with no signs!
Anyway, we parked and dashed across the road.
You sure this is a small?
Thanks, Robmc.

I wasn't sure if I could park here because I felt not right to park here without the signs anyway, I still parked beside and I found the cache quick and easy. TFTH SL
GeoWife and I spent three fantastic days caching in Bathurst and the surrounding area.
This was one of the many great little caches we located.
Was lucky with this one, no passing traffic and made the find without too much trouble.

A quick find - the kids kept an eye out for muggles as the grab was made. Daring hide !! Thanks Scenic routers !!

Visiting our daughter at uni, dragged her along for this one much to her embarrassment. Nice quick find. TFTC
We had the area to ourselves on a sunny Saturday afternoon for a quick find to the sound of burnouts at the Autofest being held at Mount Panorama. TFTC.
Quick find while taking my granddaughter to school. Co ordinates a few metres out but it was obvious where to look, just read the clues. This is a high muggle area so time your visit! great fun, TFTC
Easy? Quick? Yeah, yeah, just remember they only are if you find them!We didn't and it's soo frustrating for a couple of olds who don't like muggle-zones, especially if hunting involves positions other than erect on two feet.
L & P were visiting Bathurst for a family wedding, this was on our way out back to Canberra (via a lap of the mountain). P made a quick find. TFTC
Had tried unsuccessfully for this some time ago, but this time came up with the goods fairly quickly.

After a day of great physical activity yesterday, the body was aching and complaining today! What better way to get things moving again, than to go out to find a cache..... The body continued to moan and groan!!
This one has taken me far too long to attempt! Drove past during the week, but there was too much muggle activity. Today was much better.
Waited for a gap in the bikes and cars going past and it was a quick find.

#38 in my quest to find 60 caches in one day to celebrate my 60th birthday.
Despite the claim that you could almost reach this one from the car, I would suggest you would have to be rubber man to do so! Also we found it a good 8m SW of where the GPSr wanted us today, which was in the road! In the end where else could it be? Thanks Sr.

After leaving the mountain and heading back into Bathurst we pulled in to make a nice quick find. TYFC
Drove past this one, cars on our tail and scanning for a better parking spot. The search took a little, but all good in the end. Thanks for the cache.
Found with Sol de Lune and Zsazsa7 on a quiet afternoon with no one much around. I didn't find it, but I take credit for handing out a mirror which certainly added the find! Thanks Scenic routers.
Looked and looked for a few minutes, then revisited an area already search and there she was. Thanks for the fun.
Missed this the first time but grabbed it quickly with no muggles around. TFTC
