We have checked out a new hide here and will get it in place when we return home next week.
Would be amazing to have this one back again pls Kiwicouple.
I could help mind it for you!

Pretty sure I was looking at the right hint....maybe not. Cant think were else it could be. Maybe another day.
In the area with my daughter to catch a movie and we had a few minutes to spare so I decided to grab a couple quick ones. This was our second and last stop. I gave her the hint and pointed in the right direction and she made the quick find. TFTC! #904
The Moa is really clever. Love the individual feathers! Took a tool and a while to extract the cache. Great cache, thank you
Very cool moa. Cache extremely hard to get out had to use a few different tools. On a 3 day road trip from Hawkes Bay to Auckland and back. Grabbing as many caches as we can. Tftc
Decided to give this a go with kiwiscot19 (hope that's right) after doing a CITO nearby. It was raining and we were already soaked! Used the hint and thought we knew where it was but couldn't see it so decided to PAF. They confirmed that we were in the right place and then I spotted it! Needed to get a few tools to help us retrieve - that took a couple of minutes. Then we needed another tool to get the log out. Got there in the end! Signed as GA due to small space TFTC
Found with team gernita after a wet CITO event. Even though we had followed the hint and looked where it suggested we could not see the cache in the dull light. PAF confirmed where the cache was and once the cell phone torch app was put into use the tricky little hide was finally spotted. Certainly a big head scratcher. Took a few minutes using tools to remove and then tweezers were required to extract the log. Signed KS19. Not sure we would have got the find without the help of friends. TFTC
What an incredibly awesome caching effort, so obvious where it was hidden but so well hidden at the same time (: well done to everyone who has retrieved this one, it's a big task :p thank you
Found with tommygun9 while heading out to collect some dinner.
Nice quick straight forward find.
Thanks for the cache

Thanks for the cache
We were heading out to grab dinner and today's cache and AtomsNZ picked this one.
Pulling up there was only one person but she was reading in her car and didn't seem to care too much about us.
AtomsNZ quickly identified where it would be and I went fire the quick find.
Interesting spot and a good cache - nice to see one this size that the log still fits in properly.

Quick, easy find. Love the ones where I don't have to stick my hand in a dark hole! Thanks .
Finally on my 5th attempt I could put my initials on the log! The first time, I didn't have the appropriate tool to extract the cache, the next 3 times there were cars with people in parked right on GZ. Today there were a couple of cars nearby but the teenagers sitting in them were so preoccupied with their music and themselves they didn't notice me quickly sneak in and extract the cache and get the log signed.
After being denied access to the "new town rising cache" by the construction crew - honest I only want to take a photo! I came to the next closest hide
It took to visits, the first time a car pulled up and only one person got out. So off to the library we went. Then on our exit, another car turned into the same parking spot grrrr Thankfully they took off inside, I spotted the cache, and with my trusty tool had the cache in a matter of seconds! yeah... log signed and we were on our way. Little rebel got to climb over the Moa, a bit squishy the grass underfoot, but a smiley face was found.

My 2nd visit here and today I found it, unfortunately though it was very stuck in. I tried my trusty tool upon it for a few minutes until muggles started popping up but ended up just taking a foto. You're welcome to see it kiwicouple.
32nd and final cache of the day. Proved most challenging too as it was a long way in. Thank goodness for my trusty Swiss Army Knife and it's attractiveness to the little nano! TFTC.
Met up with jard1037 at the cache, lovely to meet you. After much prodding and coaxing finally cache was in hand. Tricky little hide that did make me think of more vandalistic methods of retrieval, but not required, glad to finally put a smiley face on this one.
Lucky to meet UrbanGypsy and after much much effort, the cache was retrieved. TFTC
last time I looked could see but had insufficient retrieval tools, came back today couldnot even sight it, gone I think
Tried the obvious place or places, couldn't see it anywhere. Loved the moa though.
Made a return visit after a report that the cache was in too deep and difficult to retrieve. It took a bit of fiddling but got it out and left it easier to get at.
A magnet can be very helpful in this situation.

Found something ressembling what may have been once a cache broken. Will add to watchlist.
Sure to have overlooked hiding place. Adding to watch list:) A nice piece of artwork that we've never paid attention to when we've paid a visit to this library.
I think we're cursed with this one lol, last time we tried we found it smashed to pieces on the ground. I saw that it had been replaced & decided to give it another go. The clue, GPS, & logic were in agreement as to the placement, but.... DNF
On a up and down in a day dash from the Manawatu to the big smoke to pass some important info at a meeting today. Left on the red eye flight out of Palmy at 6 something and braving the associated traffic to make it to the meeting place on time. After lunch a chance of caching came up and I came out for a quick trio of nearby, unfound caches.
Despite the proximity to the nearby building I was able to make a quick grab to carry out the signing duties and return to it's hidey hole. Thanks for bringing me to this interesting piece of art work, this cache was disabled last time I was up here so I've not been to this part before

Out and about with the Mini Future Finder for a spot of caching this afternoon. With the rain set in I decided to make a detour out this way and rectify a few DNFs. This was the final find for the day. Nice quick find. Cheers for replacing.
Second attempt found it! I love nanos..thanks for the great write up about moa mountain, and the clever cache. The library is a great place to be, anything that brings you close to that is good
Nice quick find glad I had my tools of trade on me to make for a quick retrevial tftc
Oh my goodness! Took me about 3 mins to locate then about 30 to retrieve! Lucky it was dinner time so everyone was racing home & paying no attention to me.
Good hiding place, some of the black paint is flaking off.

I noticed that this cache has been in need of owner attention for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

After performing all manner of maneuvers to park near GZ I checked the logs...oh dear. Kiwicouple it may be time to consider a maintenance run out west...
Mmmmmm should have read latest log before calling past there. Could have save me a frustrating search.. cheers V.
Found the cache, but didn't *find* it. We discovered the cache container broken to pieces on the ground just nearby So the whole cache will need replacing. Have emailed owner.
We found this one, but could not get it out and sign it. We had to get back to the bus at the shopping centre or miss our ship. Thanks for bringing us for a walk rather than shopping.
Bloody hell, took me ages to remove the cache, ages to remove the log for the cache, then tricky to get the log back in! Satisfying though
I found this with my dad sorry about the very late log we are doing all my late logs today during the school holidays
Not happy!
Located the cache in a matter of seconds but, after several minutes of trying in the dark, realised that we didn't have the tools necessary for extraction!
Technically not a DNF, but definitely a DNS! Did not sign!

A quick and easy late lazy Sunday afternoon find, and there were empty carparks nearby to boot! The biggest moa I've ever seen! Thanks!
Bit tricky to retrieve it ! Good hiding place .....Been to library a few times but never noticed Moa before ! Thanks for showing it to me !
Nice and quick to find thankfully due to the high number of muggles, but getting it out was a different story
Really cool cache thanks. sorri a tad late logging. just sorting out my filing system and appear to have missed a few in my travels.
Nice quick find. Seemed to spend an age getting the log sheet out. Was rather wedged in there. Folded it differently so the next person should have an easier time getting at it. Nice moa. TFTC.
