Unfortunately it is time to retire this cache but before we do we must first thank Squash2 for all of their efforts in keeping this cache active during our time away from Geraldton, without their help we would have had to archive much sooner.
It would seem that someone knows where this cache has been hidden and everytime it is replaced they remove it which is a real shame. Ah well - not to worry as we have a new bigger and better idea for this area. Stay tuned.

Been searching an embarrassing time after checking into the campground, then picking up some groceries. We decided to grab a quick cache before setting up the van and doing a laundry. Famous last words. When 2 fellows approached from the same direction we'd come from we assumed either train enthusiasts or cachers. It was squash2 doing a maintenance check. He gave us confirmation we were on track and finally got down and dirty to confirm it was missing. Nice to meet him. On our way north we'd spent about 40 minutes on average for each of 2 smilies on his caches. Doesn't sound so bad that way but it was about 45 mins for a find, 30 for a DNF and 5 for a 2nd find.
We were first to sign the replacement cache, so thanks for the maintenance. TFTC.
No problem finding this cache now. Found it actually in one of the spots we have checked last time as well. TFTC again Ian & Sue.
A huge thanks to Squash2 for checking and replacing our Choo Choo cache.
This cache is all ready to be found again!

We also didn't find it. And we spent a lot of time. But that doesn't always mean anything as some days work better than others. I see you are setting and out and about again so hope you will check this one.
Searched for a good 30minutes but left disappointed. Will try again if we get the chance.
Full of confidence after finding two caches this morning we could not find before we gave this one a try as well. Unfortunately no luck. Next time! Thanks Ian&Sue, we'll be back.
Coast’n Along and Kool Running heading north from Esperance to Karratha, then heading back to Albany in 5 weeks. Spent a lot of time on this one and we came to the conclusion it has either been muggled or it was just too good for us. The previous logs sounded intriguing, but we had to admit defeat in the end.
Gotcha !!! Came past yesterday but quickly realised Sunday morning was NOT a good time for a search.
Back today and success. TFTC

GPS was a bit erratic but once we got a general fix we set to work. Took a while and poked our fingers in places most sane people wouldn't - eventually rewarded with the find. Loved the concept of the log - bet that's been copied by previous finders. Thanks.
[:(!] Mrs GrumpyBump and I did a weekend caching run to Geraldton, on arrival we booked into the caravan park, had a cup of tea and then picked up a couple of caches on our way to get some dinner, parked the geocar witin 75 meters of GZ and walked the rest of the way, on arrival at GZ we wondering around for several minutes and finally we had the cache in hand . TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH
after sneaking around looking like a couple of dodgy crims we found it woohoo!! ... It is a lil difficult to find but its's there. Log is pretty full TFTC
Whilst signing the logbook today I must have somehow dislodged the caches magnet. Now it doesn't stick where it was found. I have placed it in the same area on the ground and hidden it with a piece of nearby refuse. I'll have a look around town for any supplies rare earth magnets that can be used to repair the cache. Sorry!
This one took me a lot longer than it should of! Found, but forgot my pen! Made it back several weeks later to sign the logbook. A quick stop off quickly turned into a frantic search as I realised that the cache had lost it's magnetic grip! I looked for anything magnetic that may have fallen off without luck. I'll put up a Needs Maintenance flag and keep an eye out for any rare earth magnets in the stores. Thank you for the cache! And sorry for breaking it!

My first find. My sister and I took about 10 mins to locate it. Very sneaky hide. SL TFTC.
Had to search for ages and were worried the cache was gone, but eventually our persistence paid off. Very well hidden and a great log!
Great hunt on this one...we were really scratching our heads after 20 minutes of searching.
Very creative cache and great logbook...cheers for the cache.

Initially we attempted to access this site from a major road but, to our surprise, there was a person on the side of the road next to the fence meditating! We then found alternative access and despite a few muggles, we were able to identify GZ. Just as we started to search for the cache, an elderly woman came past with her two dogs and struck up a conversation. Eventually her dogs got impatient and she continued on, enabling us to search. After about 5 minutes the cache was in hand. The coordinates were spot-on. TFTC Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder. PS no miniature railway activity this morning.
Took a while to find it but my wife and I just hung in there until we did. Thanks Ian & Sue, very inventive. Squash2
Heading south into town and literally driving past this so stopped to do as a quick park n' grab! Not!! Damn couldn't find the cache. Have taken some photo's of GZ. TFTC Team Pathfinder
took us a lil while to find this one. maybe because it was 7.30am greetings from germany

Last cache of the day ... refused to finish with a DNF. Note - the cache is not a micro cache (eg not a little bullet sized one), but that said a great cache and great fun to find.
Searched some surrounding structures, to no avail but GPSr indicated GZ was in the middle of a new pile of sand from where a new concrete slab has been layed. Hope it's not under the sand.
I can imagine that these train rides would be fun. We have something like this back home in Adelaide which we have been to and it is great fun. TFTC
Best Log container we have found on this trip. Glad we stopped here for a comfort stop while heading north. TFTC.
First cache I have found in WA! Over here for a few weeks checking out this good country, hopefully get a few more caches in. Good cache box. No pen though, Will log later when driving past.

We had to abort our search for this yesterday as a group of muggles were hanging out at the park nearby- with a direct view of us!
Today was much more successful with no muggles in sight. However, we did find the cache on the ground. After signing the log, we placed the cache where we thought it belongs. Thanks heaps...
PS. We liked the log, we haven't seen one like this before.

this one took a bit to find as GPS was jumping all over the place but after look under and in everythink we found it - TFTC
Hoping for a FTF but beaten to it by Bushies. As well as the cache found a pair of reading glasses - anyone drop a pair while peering around?
We didn't think we had a chance for a FTF but to our surprise, yes it was another FTF for us... our 3rd for 2011. Thanks Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder for the cache.
Enjoyed a picnic at the park while hubby was on his lunch break. Unfortunately we couldn't find it THIS TIME will have another look soon.
