We found a really nice campsite at Bakers Shaft and after a bit of a late getaway we again started heading north aiming for the pprass camping event this weekend picking up caches along the way. We pulled up at the very well maintained gardens and decided that it would be a good place for lunch so we made a couple of sandwiches and headed off to gz where we ate lunch while searching for the cache. When found we could only fit the date and T.C. on the side as the log is very full and definitely needs replacing and we don't carry any this size so couldn't help. It took longer to replace as we had to wait for a couple of kids playing football to leave.
Thanks Scenic Routers for the cache

We did not realise this had been archived and the container and log book were here today. Hope this still counts as a find. TFTC.
Found the old bit of bridge but was foiled by two Council workers having a smoko right next to it
Found at 3:50PM on the 23rd of April by Ray and Maya as we head for Gosford. We were unable to write in the log because we could not extract the log from its container as it is saturated. I have included a photo of the log as best we could access it. Very pretty park. We are staying the night here and spending the rest of the day caching and exploring the city. TFTC. The Nomads.
Yesterday I stayed at the Bathurst motel an overnight for the work with my muggle mates nearby. This morning we come here and searched for a cache for a while until my muggle mate found it before me before we leaves for Dubbo. TFTH SL
All quiet here today - ideal for a bit of urban caching. I am sure it was not here last time I looked - but thanks for the history and the cache.
I am sure it was not there last time we looked. Good to remember our history - thanks.
so very pleased to find this one - the last on a great day out. Tried 12 months ago and was a DNF twice! Once on my own & once in a group - so I got very excited to find it today. thanks Scenic Routers!
#14: My first cache in my home town. Easily found, not quite as easily removed and much more difficult to sign. Needs new log.
Stopped in Bathurst to avoid the storm. As the weather cleared went for an evening caching. Searched and searched and eventually located the sneaky hide but even with a "wee" stick it took ages to get the cache and the log into a position to sign. The log was full!!!! New one desperately needed.

Found , is amazing what you can do with a kid climbing over stuff doing normal 'kid stuff'! Log is full, tried to scrawl in a corner but pen was having issues. 'All Str......' should be somewhere on that log
micheena - had time to search thoroughly, but no DF anything. Hopefully this one's not missing.
Found it what a Sneaky little cache had to wait for the muggles to finish their lunch so went & came back then there was a muggle & her dog grrrr but finally got a few minutes & there it was??
The grown up Assassin found this one b4 but this time had the wee cacher (Lushielou) and Geo-Gus along to find it
GeoWife and I spent three fantastic days caching in Bathurst and the surrounding area.
This was one of the many great little caches we located.
Wonderful parkland and such a magnificent piece of timber!!

I though I would have a look for a couple of caches on the way home and this was one that I managed to find. This is one og those places that you would never find if it was not for Geocaching.

Found my 100th geocache this 2013 Australia Day long weekend, but I'd never logged any of my finds. So I decided now is an opportune time to do so!

Took a while to find but well worth the time it took to retrieve it.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Tried searching here a week or so ago with no luck. Had hoped to add this to a Leap Year find today, particularly with the help of some local Cachers but I truly believe this one has gone missing (again) - 4 cachers all searching together, poked, prodded, tried every concievable crevice, crack, hole, magnetic opportunity - but alas not found!
Perhaps muggles have stolen it ?

No luck here today, we did have a chance to try again later in the day with the CO's hints, but we ran out of time.
Found during my caching tour of Bathurst! Thanks for bringing me to this little piece of history. Tourist info don't tell us visitors about this!
We used to have a cache in this area, however, it was muggled. Hopefully this one will last much longer. Thanks for letting us revisit this lovely area of Bathurst.
Found by torchlight.A couple of spider guardians didn't deter us as we soon located the booty.
Many thanks to Scenic Routers for the history and sneaky hide.

Ms Bushies2 spotted it at first but it was too far to retrieve so gave up but Mr Bushies2 used his tool to retrieve it...it was put back a bit far too deep...glad we found it. Thanks Scenic routers.
Only time for a couple of caches whilst heading through town. Took a seat and made some pretend phone calls whilst waiting for a few roadside muggles to drive off. Thanks Scenic routers.
Found with TeamBooo we spent over 30mins trying to get the cache from its lil hiding spot but without any luck it is well and trully stuck so didnt get to sign the log

Well found the hide but could not get this one out after 30+ of trying. Tried using a stick, screw driver and a pair of (probably to short) pliers but could not get this to budge.
Thanks for an interesting piece of history, found this one on a cold week day morning when there were not many muggles about. Tricky initially but when I started to think "smaller" I hit paydirt.
SPENT OVER 10 MINS TRYING TO GET THIS CACHE OUT IN THE END CACHE WAS IN HAND TFTC
After reading earlier logs thought this one would take a while, however nabbed pretty swiftly with my caching partners for the weekend SolDeLune and a complete set of Winglens.
Nice one thanks.
Nice one thanks.
We made a very quick find here, then walked across the bridge to a nearby cache - for a DNF. An interesting piece of history thanks Scenic routers.
A nice piece of history, with a modern touch - a cache.
Found it rather quickly and we were soon off to another...without as much luck.
Thanks for this one.

Thanks for this one.
I have ridden past this spot countless times and hadn't realised that this was actually timber from the old bridge. I thought the "piece of history" was still in situ.
There were a couple of muggles nearby, who no doubt thought I was a crazy old lady, but I did eventually manage to find the cache, and after a considerable effort, extract it from its hiding place. TFTC Scenic routers

Late in the day so no muggles. Was a little challenging but found in the end. SL and replaced where found.
On a mini Bathurst blitz. Had passed by this one once before but ther were Drunk muggles on GZ.
This time not one muggle. Thanks routers for these urban micros.
Might need a touch up with some paint. I found an extendable magnet worked for me to get it out.

A nice easy find by the Smelly who is good with the micro variety - thanks SR - a great little spot to visit.
Found it! Made 2 attempts at this one today. Some muggles had set up camp near GZ so U gave it an hour and tried again. Very sneaky, I was beginning to think it had gone but then it called to me. SL TFTC

This one took some determination to get out .. but we finally got it!!yay!
Took some time to make the grab as the grass was being mowed and I had to wait for the lawn mower to move one. TFTC
A great way to finish off a day in town. Thanks for a little bit of history and the chance to explore a little now of this park. Only ever been to the garden spot before. they don't make timber like they use to.

Looking for this cache was a real challenge. Even with the CO helping the cache could not be found so he had a look for himself and sure enough it was gone but after a quick search of the near vicinity it was located. Would be very surprised if it could find its way out of its hidey hole on its own now though.
Thanks for the cache and for re-finding and fixing it up again.

Having geograndchildren in tow is excellent when looking for caches!
This one didn't take long to find but it took a long time to extract cache,... however,.... it is a perfect site for relaxing and chatting, so we chatted whilst I worked on the job at hand!
Great hide and loved the cache .

The frog must of been away for a few days and all of a sudden there is a heap of new caches published. Picked this one to do first.
Got to GZ and spotted the cache then spotted the muggle sitting out the front of his house across the road. Luckily a truck pulled up between us and the cache was extracted for its hide and the clean log was signed. As I rolled the log back up Hanjac and crew turned up. Having missed the FTF he decided to leave it for another day.
A quick chat and off we went in search of a joint FTF on another nearby new cache.

Thought I would leave this one for another day but after I got a text from my mate budokan saying he had hit 1151 thought a small mission was called for.
When I initially arrived here earlier code1 was sitting there and he gave me a friendly wave.
Had a quick find but the extraction took chewing gum stuck to a stick. This one should last.
