But thanks for showing us the path down to Shelley Beach - a great little spot for our few days away!

Out on a morning walk with geohusband and stopped to look for the cache. We looked and looked but couldn’t find it. Hint didn’t even help. Will try again another time. Thanks anyway
Quick find with Day1976 on a cool day on a bike ride between Anderson and Dalyston.
Found with Ilukaperi on a nice day out for a bike ride between Anderson and Dallyston. Waited for some muggles to vacate before ilukaperi made the find easily. TFTC.
**This was 1 of 36 caches that was found by me on the 8th of 16 caching days here in Australia. Which also was the 45th of 75 days that my travels thru southeast Asia and Oceania would last.**
*Together with Ingabo, jsson and Sivun I would spend 16 days in Australia. Our journey started in Melbourne and ended in Sydney. After that I continued to New Zealand while the others headed back towards Melbourne.*
*All in all I did manage to find 263 caches, 9 types, 3 new months and many more statistical fillers.*

Went from Phillip Island to Fish Creek and we stopped for caching for a shorter hike and along the road.
We wrote full name or IJPS stand for the first letter i our alias ( Jsson, Ingabo, Peter-tvm, Sivun)

We, (jsson, peter-tvm, Sivun and myself) went for a small car drive on Philip island today. We logged as IJPS.
We had nice weather so we made some longer walks too.
Found parts of the cache so we placed a new small tubular container with log strip here.
Thanks for placing a cache for me to enjoy and find.

Finding it a little hard to plan for which caches to target due to testing on the work site being dependent on others we found they had a problem which meant a caching window suddenly opened up.
A nice cliff too coastal walk to see what George had on offer. A good range of hides and nice views along the way. TFTC.

Apologies for the late log. My family were away in New Zealand so I planned a few caching excursions and I’m still catching up on logs. This was a great day spent on bikes on the Bass Coast Rail Trail with liambaxter88. Rain was forecast so were really pleased to get through till just after lunch when we had to abandon and not before we had brought up Liam’s biggest ever caching day. I apologise for my logs being largely generic as I didn’t take notes on the day and have been slow to log. This one wasn’t in the rail trail series but was only a small diversion for us so we headed here to make the find. My 39th of 49 finds for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache along here Gonefishen07.
This series was part of my biggest caching day so far! Thanks to AnnoyingTarbit for taking me down here and Gonefishen07 for the time put into the series. We somewhat managed to avoid most of the rain.
Found it. Not a sistema container though. Made the find more interesting at least! No pen in cache and I forgot so didn't sign. Thanks!
Continuing on our adventure after attending the Alexandra Mega Event, we found ourselves spending a few days on Phillip Island. While we tried to take advantage of the many great places to see on the island, we were pre-occupied with trying to complete the qualifying requirements for a particular challenge cache we had signed in Ballarat prior to the Surf Coast Mega Event last year. It really does pay to check the finer details of a challenge cache before you decide to look for it We had thought you needed to have found 100 caches in Victoria, but it was only when we came to log it that we realised the 100 caches in Victoria had to have been placed by the same cache owner
Anyway, initially we thought we would complete the challenge by doing the Mt Disappointment caches, but then friends who knew we were heading to Phillip Island told us we would easily qualify for the challenge there, and they would be much more interesting caches Well they were quite interesting, and some of them were downright sneaky
In the end, we had an enjoyable couple of days exploring Phillip Island and finding a variety of cache hides, with some great walks along some of the beaches and other places
Thank you Gonefishen07 for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Third day in Kilcunda, introducing the adult geokids to the fun of geocaching, quiet funny their watch the excitement actually, some things never change. Love this part of the world. TFTC
Day three of my Victorian Caching Adventure. Time to get put the bicycle I’d hired to work and explore the Bass Rail Trail. I left the bike at my motel and drove out to Anderson parked there and caught a bus back to Wonthaggi so I only had to cycle the one way. A great ride I’d recommend to anyone. The caching along the way was a bonus really. I had a reasonable good hit rate and found most of the ones I looked for. Cheers and TFTC
The last cache I found on this track so far. A small detour and a quick find. Signed and replaced before heading a long the track a ways before turning around and heading for the pub.
Thanks Gonefishen07

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I have got a nice streak going and hoping to let it run for as long as possible. This may or may not become easier now that I have found a job but I’m still currently staying with my brother (stinky tom) and his family which includes my nephew (stinky bob).
A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work. Everyone likes finding a well maintained cache with a dry logbook.
Thanks Gonefishen07

With it being a long weekend what better reason than to have a ball caching with geowife. Saturday we found 130 caches at Mt. Disappointment, but today we got our new bikes out with the goal of finding all the caches on this trail from Anderson to Killy.
Had to wait out the muggles here before make my the find.
Thanks Gonefishin07 for the series.

Found today whilst out on the geobike. Started this series two years ago and have finally got back. Thanks for the fun and exercise. TFTC
While out in the company of the McLookers we set out to get a start on the trail with bikes ready & roaring, plenty of water and snacks packed we were off. The sun belting down made for a hot ride but with sunscreen applied and our helmets for protection we enjoyed the trail and all caches on offer. Most caches were found with only a few DNF'S as we kept the pace up ...pedal, search, sign, pedal!
Thanks Gonefishen07 for your efforts put into this rail trail series, we had a ball.

It was a very cutoff tree!
In the area on bikes with The Tritonz with the aim of completing the Rail Trail. The grass was very, very long in many places. Fortunately we did not see a snake...I am not sure how as it was a very snakey kind of day. Thanks GF07, it is a brilliant picturesque trail that gave us the opportunity to see another very pretty part of Victoria.

My 500th cache. Time for celebrating and giving a favourite point.
Out for a weekend bike ride with the Whittlesea Bicycle Users Group. I did a bit of caching along the way as we explored the Bass Coast Rail Trail and Phillip Island. Riding with a group of muggles (plus GraWil) affords little time to grab caches but I did manage to find 24. This was one of them. Thank you for placing these caches for folk like me to find.

Yay! Clear sky , steady GPS and reading the hint carefully had the cache in my hand quickly this time. Two previous DNFs ticked off my map and list.
Teamed up with OZHockeyChick to ride the trail and grab a few caches. This is about the third time I have ridden this section of the trail now. Thanks Gonefishen07 for the cache.

Down in the area to tackle some of the George Bass walk. This was the first find along the way heading towards Punchbowl. Despite the tree activity, cache was still waiting to be found. TFTC

A tree has been chainsawed up near ground zero by our calculations so perhaps that has something to do with not finding it.
As we had a lot to do today, we set a time limit of 5 mins. Time was up so we continued our ride.
Cache contents and log are saturated and not useable. dried out as much as possible but needs new log.
A quick and easy walk by on our way to Wonthaggi. The log was drenched and wasn't sign-able, so we sent a pic to the co instead. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Found. Log soaking wet so could not sign.
Thanks

Nice easy find in location with lovely views. Tho logbook difficult to sign as soaking wet. Tftc
Quick find! No muggles around which made it easier. Found with jengswan and dairy pasher.
Met up with Team Crackers for 2 days, to tackle the Rail Trail and a few local caches.
With the threat of rain, we headed out on the bikes.
We found a good variety of hides, with the odd one being a little tricky.
This cache was found while doing the trail, and was a quick find.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Gonefishen07, for us and others to find.

Tftc on the first day of 2015! Nice day for a walk with the love of my life. Have a great year!
Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat, today Mr Felix headed out on the GeoBike to tackle some more of the rail trail.
Knowing that some of these micro's were to be evil not a lot of hope was held for a numbers run today.
Happy New Year! Well seems every muggle from here to Melbourne was out walking or riding the rail trail today. . It was a struggle but somebody had to do it. .
Beautiful day and the rain held off. An amazing series you have created here. So much hard work and effort has gone into constructing then of course to maintain too. Great work.
TFTC Looking forward to meeting other geocachers at the next Australian Geocaching Mega event

Had to be careful of muggles here but eventually it was clear and we found the cache. The container was very wet and a bit slimy.
01/10/2014 3.40pm - 4th for the day. dgfb33 had already found this one. Tipped water & slugs out of cache, signed log & made sure bag & container were property sealed before replacing it. Log only slightly damp & luckily slugs didn't get into paper & start munching.
Easy find to start the walk. Cache wet inside with a few slugs! Log book dry in the bag. Signed log. TNLN TFTC
Found it. A tricky one today as the area was pretty waterlogged. Thank you for hiding.
We missed this cache when Biggles 1024 and I did this part of the rail trail about a year ago, probably due to all the mini muggles enjoying the sunshine. Today in the pouring rain there was no one around and so made for a quick find. Another old one off the list.

Out on a caching trip from NZ. Rented some bikes from Cowes on the island and decided to have a cycle along the trail. Enjoyed the gentle grade and the different caches. Luckily for us we had no encounters with the wildlife depicted on the trail markers. TFTC
Found! Grabbed this cache while doing the Wonthaggi Rail Trail. It had me searching in a few places before finally claiming this one.

Walking the George bass coastal walk with 2nd mornington sea scouts walked from Anderson yesterday after bus from cowes and ferry from stony point. Catching a maxi taxi at end of walk to cowes and ferry back to stony point after some fish and chips- great walk and fantastic sunny days
Found this one pretty quickly with the help of the geodogs who came with us for a walk today TFTC
Today we headed out in the car to find caches that did not have too much walking entailed. Hubby not used to bike riding wanted a day off.
This is our final day in the beautiful area, we have appreciated all the caches we have found thanks Wonthaggi.
Thanks Gonefishen07

A big day out on the rail trail today with fellow cachers Liz and Bruce and we managed to find a total of 79 well hidden and thoughtout caches. There was quite a variety of cache containers/hides, often the name of the cache giving a clue as to what to look for. Thanks to Gonefishen07 for hiding this cache.
We were fortunate today to strike a day that had sunshine and a cooling breeze. We ventured along this well formed track with LazzaL and pet dog Lillie taking in the rural view to the wonderful coastline and making bee-lines for the creative caches. We would read about the next cache on the way and try and guess what item had been used to individualize and create a sense of fun in each hide. Not part of the rail trail series but good to find. Thanks to Gonefishen07.
