Plundered? Blimey, they've razed it to the ground! Fire in the hole, and shattered aerosols all round. This is the twisted wreckage that's left. Couple of trackables in there - Not sure what's happened to Thuringia, but Donut Man has managed to rise from the ashes to go find another meal, another day.
Working on a new cache. This is the second time The Piratz has been deep 86'd - Will try once more, and if we get scuttled again, may leave things to Davey Jones tender lovin' care...

Took Dinkyfish to have a go at this excellent cache. Unfortunately it has been muggled. Found the cover off to the side but no sign of the cache itself.
#978 and my 69th consecutive day of caching
Something went wrong with the brakes and steering on my car, there can't be any other exlanation for why I would set out from the Mountains for a quick cache, and then just stay on the M4 until it terminated in Burwood. It couldn't possibly have anything to do with not planning which cache I was going looking for & indeciveness, could it?
Anyway, once I left the M4, I pulled out my iPhone & noticed this cache was near by. A couple of blocks later I was parking the car & setting off for a short walk towards GZ. Quick find once there, for a very wel made cache. Pity I didn't have the kids with me tonight, they would have enjoyed this one.
Thanks Piratz

What a fantastic cache!! This is one of the best urban caches I have found! Everything from the camo work to the cache theme was great and when I found it with cav99 we both thought wow. Well done and thanks for a brilliant cache.
Brilliant cache. Pity I did not have the kids with me. Excellent GPS reception had me scratching my head at GZ. Favorite point from us. TFTC
Great cache we are one of the same we put effort into or cache construction and hides a fav from me,cheers.
After find the troll over the road and watching the undercover police operation in action we realised this was close so went for it. Only have the phone GPSr it seemed to get confused in the trees so after a few laps we got out onto the oval with clear space and lined up a bearing and distance. Once near the trees we ignored the GPSr and carried on with our bearing and distance. We soon saw something not quiet right and uncovered a well though out cache (Love the handle). A little wet in the base but the log was dry. SL and replaced. TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 0946. David grew up in north Croydon, so this area holds lots of memories. He used to explore this area well before Rugby took over what is now Concord Oval. In those days, it was called St Luke's Oval, with a lone, rather dilapidated, wooden grandstand where the western one now stands, His High School held their annual athletics carnivals there, The present St Luke's Park across the road was mostly undeveloped bush in those days. No problems finding the cache, and really loved the camo. Our thanks to The Piratz.
Thanks for the cache!(you_cached_me was here) - Posted from my iPhone at Ground Zero! - had a muggle watching.. Had to pause a bit wait for him to pass.. When found.. I must say what a fantastic cache!!.. Alot of insect life was hiding around the base of the cache.. However I did notice a good 200ml water inside.. You'll be happy to know contents are ok.. Emptied the water.. Scraped the dirt off the seal.. See how she goes me harties!!
What a beauty! I love the thought that went into this cache, from the container itself to the manner in which it was hidden. It took me just long enough finding it to make me really satisfied when I did. Took track-able; left Microsoft keyring.
LOVED THIS CACHE took awhile but was man handling the area and stepped away when all became clear. Superb camouflage a real work of art.

The boy and I decided we needed to get out of the house after spending the morning indoors. We parked nearby and walked up to GZ - Zac using his Geomate jr. When we got to GZ we were scratching our head. Where could it be. I eventually found something a little sus and Bingo, we'd found ... I'll leave you to discover. Zac loved the contents of the container and we swapped a car for a pathtag. Unfortunately the container and bag contained a bit of water. I spent a few minutes trying to dry them with tissues.
#3 of 16 found while geocaching on Australia Day.
Awesome cache! We were searching with no luck for ages... (it was probably only around ten minutes) but then mum pulled at the right spot and BINGO! the cache was found. Really like it. Swapped travel bugs. Liked this a lot so am adding it to my favourites.

Fantastic hide and also a little bit frightening! Mrs G was all over it without finding it. Mr G notice something amiss and made the find. Unbelievable and full of treasure too. The bottom of the container was a bit damp so we dried it out. T the Diabetes TB L the Queen Vic Post Box Geocoin SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Once we found a place to park we set off along the wrong side of the canal, so as soon as we rectified this navigational error we quickly located the buried treasure. Excellent hide it is great to find a regular size cache amongst a sea of micros. We exchanged swaps and TB’s. Many thanks and great work .
What a fun cache, my boys lovely the pirate's treasure.

Wow! A great new local cache (well new for me, I left 1 year ago ) After spying the cache and being impressed with the thing... I remembered that on route I saw a sword handle which wouldnt have been out of place. Indeed when I fetched it it was a perfect fit for the damage on the cache! I left it in there in case Piratz want to stick it back on. Also left 2 European travel bugs... one which has just completed its mission to come to Australia!
Cheers Piratz, look forward to more!

After finding Johnny Appleseed closed, we stopped by here to find a well designed cache. Great spot, nice and quiet too After this, we walked a long way along the walkway and around the bay. TFTC
Loved, loved, loved this cache - co-ords had GZ a little bit further afield for me so I had to widen the search and when I found it, I just thought it was brilliant.

People - How hard is it to close a zip lock bag??!! Just a day later and while the cache doesn't look Muggled, it is damaged, and the bags are all open. A little bit of care please.
Dried out the cache, made some structural and drainage modifications, replenished the Piratz treasure and popped in a replacement log that doesn't smell quite so moldy... Also stood over it in the middle of a raging thunderstorm looking for leaks. None apparent that I can see, so let's see how we go. Hopefully if the baggies are kept zipped and the seals and clips on the container are kept dirt free, we'll be right for a while.
TFTC SL. Cache had some water in it so I tipped it out, log dry but contents wet.
Last cache in Australia! Glad to get back to somewhere the internet is free to use!
Found with GCFerrets and Ferret PUP! Cache was a bit too wet to drop one of my bear TB's in!
Now this was a fun cache. Thanks for keeping geocaching interesting. It certainly was not what I expected, with the surprises that just kept on coming. I left a Swaggie that needs to be logged on GCA: Crag the Mangrove Yowie. http://geocaching.com.au/swaggie/sw0211
Unfortunately, I did not see any trackables in this cache. I hope I'm not that blind!!!!

This was, cache # 22 of 59 finds for the day, On our first day of the MCBC raid on Sydney. My thanks to The Piratz for the cache.
Our raiding party of 8 arrived here at this secluded spot - Yea no muggles to contend with...
Ghostgums was soon onto the cache but it took a couple of attempts to extract...
Once this was done log was soon emblazoned with our sign and a few travellers where also liberated to continue on their way..
Thanks The Piratz for cache

Quite an interesting use of local infrastructure for a cache. It took a while to get it all back in place.
Found while spending an enjoyable weekend finding caches around Sydney with Gunnie69, Kaisho53, lochb, La Kedi, Tassiegirl13, bedmaker and Rebel Acts.

This one is nicely tucked away and we appreciated the privacy for the hunt. As the group approached, Ghostgums was all over the hiding spot and had the cache identified in no time. Getting it out was a different story though...
It took him a couple of tries to execute the extraction and when the container was revealed, it was easy to see why he was having such trouble...
Loog book and and a sticker in place, we removed a number of TB's to get back on the road and placed everything back as it should be... [^]
A neatly constructed hide indeed... Well done...
Cheers Piratz.

Releasing two new Piratz TBs, with fairly onerous individual round Globe trips winding up with a rendezvous at cache "X Marks The Spot" on the original pirate island in the Caribbean. They then need to come home to Sydney together. Good Luck little Piratz! Maybe I'll see you again around 2020...
I was walking along the path next to the tennis courts, there were heaps of balls along the way so I chucked a few back. Then I realised that the cache was on the other side of the canal so had to retrace my steps. Was very impressed by the camo - a neat effort.
Found very quickly without GPS. Muggle friend was very impressed with camo and so was I.
Fantastic effort.
Aaaaargh! Me hearties. Thar be treasure down below.

What a great spot and what a surprising size for a cache. I really enjoyed the camo job, which had me looking twice. Thanks for the effort put into hiding this one. Cheers.
Found on 2nd attempt. Clever. Lots of toys still in it. Tnln. No trackables in cache. TFTC
Nice job! Another very good find on my holiday around Sydney area. SL Thanks for the fun!
Reperio at 1105. Stopped by GZ today expecting a certain type of hide here, but much to my surprise, the cache was hidden in a manner that I probably wouldn't have guessed if my life depended on it. Not sure I've seen too many like this before, and it works very well. Loved the effort and attention to detail.
Gratias Piratz.

What a sensational hide!! This one is a must. Tremendously camouflaged but without that imposible level of difficulty that leads to frustrating DNF's. Very clever hint and a wonderful cache for the kids. This was an easy pick for favorite points. Taking some travel bugs south. Fantastic effort Piratz. Keep up the great work. Tftc

Feeling a bit disillusioned not finding many caches found lots of rubbish but no cache
Cache is battered & bruised, cracked & jumped on, but surprisingly nothing missing apart from Oink the geo coin (RIP Oink [XX(]).The plastic baggies have kept everything dry & intact. Will try to replace with a new intact body soon, but cache is still in situ for anyone who wants to find it.
Reports of a malicious Muggleing. Will aim to get out in the next few days and check it out.
I was out with Walw for a spot of night caching and looking for geocaches big enough to drop off some travel bugs that had come back from South Africa. Wal had found this one before and lead me to it, the new camo looked good and the container was snug and sound. We thought someone had followed us into the car park and we were going to meet some cachers; however it was just a muggle turning around!

Dropped in a TB while passing by with HGL. Something looked different this time, well done on the upgrade The Piratz!
A straight walk up find today, last time I was too timid to force the camo cover. It is now camoed differently, and very well done indeed! Thamks TP a great piece of camo.
