As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

Teamed up with Spiderhouse to try and knock off a few more Eastern Bay caches. The weather held long enough for us to launch our assault...
Didn't find any cache today, after a lengthy search. As I replaced this last time, I think it's time to move on.

Out for the day with squirrel nutcase for an assault on Geckoh territory.
Tried to do this one, hunted high and low. Looked left, and right? No cache. Couldn't find anything. Looked in all the likely hidey holes. Nothing. Had to give it away in the end. Think it might be gone.
Might pay to check it out funkeebabee, as squirrel nutcase says he has already replaced it once, but thanks for taking us there. Lovely spot.

Followed the hint without success, so loaded up the pix and had a look around. Then it was spotted. Glorious spot with a dinky little waterfall. Cache not exactly where I expected, but all good in the end. TFTC

Headed out early for a epic days caching, 12 hours and 52 caches, not to sure about the other stats about the day, but I've definitely deserved a beer.
Cache was missing last time I was here. Thanks for the replacement. Found quickly as the cache was quite exposed. Covered up when I replaced it.

Hint was important for this find as my GPS wanted to take me across the stream. Thanks.
Kiwi69 and I decieded that this was our challenge, so made an early start for Whakatane from home. It's now 7.30 and we can already see that the day is going to be a warm one.
After a steady climb this was our real first one of the walk.
Nice hide and nice find, a few runners about, generally heading back down

Out & about caching in Whakatane with C&D, with Toi's circuit track as our main objective for the day. Hot, hot, hot already & it's only 7.30am! Nice quick find here, TFTC
Day 3 of the trip home to Christchurch, Whakatane to Te Araroa. A quick find, noticed that WEKA from Dunedin were on the trail today. Thanks for the hide
Very easy wasn't looking for it, but was in plan site, i said to myself that looks like a geocashe and it was, so covered it up a bit, didnt have a pen on me so couldnt write on paper, next time i go up there i will remember to bring a pen
I must add... the cache is missing a writing tool and could do with the usual cache notes...
Well... After having my maintenance request ignored by the CO, and a growing DNF list; I decided to do something about the missing cache. Have dropped a 200ml sistema near where I think the cache was originally hidden. This one is burrowed beneath an obvious root. Actually, don't know how long this will last... but better than archiving... You're welcome.
Spent a lot of time raking my fingers through the dirt and undergrowth. DNF for us, though we did find two bottles and the Munzee. Please check. Might need to be moved to prevent muggling.
Since no one was finding it I went and looked for it and couldn't find replaced with new cache teamsearles came with me since they a new.
Had a rumage around. No like, maybe the new hidding place is just to good. Found a munzee thou.
Great spot for a GC but couldn't find it.
Co-ordinates were off but we were at top of falls.

GPS had hubby looking in wrong area. Looked further a field & could see cache container from track. Hid it a little better. Left a pet rock - a fox. TFTC
What a beautiful spot looking over the township of Whakatane . I arrived at the GZ with 20 metres to go but in front of me was a sheer rock face with a waterfall . Surely I don't have to go there [?]. After re-thinking my strategy I went another way and within no time I had the prize in my hand . Picked up an Australian coin that wants to come back home with us. Thanks for bringing me to this beautiful spot.
Quick find after looking at clue. Yes GPS coords definitely off from what I had. Mine had me 16m away but anyway found no probs. Nice looking geocoin in there. Wrote down the number to discover it but now lost the bit of paper.. Darn!
Nice easy find - did not like the fake cockroach - noticed that the track next door is closed, so will have to check if the TG Beta one can be done?
Good easy find. That waterfall would be cool in the wet season with some real water going over it. TFTC
Lovely walk with lots of birds in the trees around especially some Kereru.
Quick find --- cleaned out the container and put in some stars and a cockroach!!

Thought go and get some caches on this walk before I head to Whakatane airport to fly back to Invercargill. Beautiful day for a bush walk.
Went for a short walk today to stretch my legs after the Montys revenge race this morning, and to drop off a travel bug in this cool cache.
Found cache rather exposed due to winter plant die off and probably all the rain so covered it up with some dead bits and pieces. lovely spot

FlyingPigSquadron has landed! Looked at Falls from bottom, then came to top and watched the sun set. Took geocoin TFTC&H and for bringing us to such a lovely spot funkeebabee
Found this one at the start of Kohi Point Walkway. Great walk with lots of caches on the way. Really enjoyed it! Unfortunately we couldn't walk the entire Toi Walk because of the landslip about midway. Great spot for a cache!
TFTC!
TFTC!
At the start of the Kohi Point Walkway we found this cache. The second cache of the day. And much more caches followed since there were many on the way. Nice spot!

We had been to this spot before due to another cache being close by. Once at GZ the cache was quickly located. Signed log and then moved onto the next cache in the TGC series. TFTC
Nice walk to this 1st cache on the track. Looks nice but didn't have the time to go any further.

3518 Had waited to collect this cache was we are in the process of completing the MGSc cache and need to cache for 10 straight days - This being our 5th day. Found cache using iPhone, just for the fun of it (and because it was close enough to go home and get the Colorado if a real gpd was needed!) TFTC
Thought i knew this area really well as often run this track but gotta say i never knew this little lookout was here (must be running too fast -lol), it was a nice surprize - thanks for placing here.
Still a bit of brown water going over the falls after the rain. First time in my almost 8 years of part time geocaching that I've found a brand new cache, guess it had to happen sooner or later. TFTC.
Busy wee cache today! Recieved notification at work so couldnt resist quick look an way home despite no GPS. Found using photos and hint. TFTC
