To many people were getting shocked from the fence even thou it say's dont go near it sooo therefore achiving the cache so people dont get hurt anymore.
Arrived at this one, and had a fairly decent idea of where to look. Luckily for me, i headed in the wrong direction, but a shriek from evilno9 suggested he had found more than he had bargained for - being an electric fence. In the process of finding that though he did manage to find the cache, so once he had come back down to earth, and we had determined he was ok, we were able to grab it and sign it without any more shocking encounters. TFTC
Good to know I'm in such esteemed company here as I managed to add my name to the list of shocked cachers who've attempted this one. Didn't even think I was near the fence (wasn't paying attention to be fair) but as I was retrieving the cache I just grazed it with my arm and that was enough to give me a fair shock and a whack to the head with my own hand as the reflexes kicked in. What doesn't kill you etc.... TFTC
'There's no need to go near the fence'...Yea right! Got zapped. Last cache for the year. TFTS.
Quick find on the way back from a MTB session at Woodhill park. Should have read the posts about the electric fence. TFTC
Brought up on farm, not averse to the occasional zing! Easy find but nicely hidden , thanks!
Stopped. Had a wee lookie. BUT after seeing electric fence and being short this was a NO GO!. I read others have been shocked even thou hint says don't go by the fence. Will pack a ladder for my next visit thanks.
Man, this is a busy road! So didn't spend too much time looking around. Checked the obvious places then drove on.
Found after orienteering at Woodhill. Took a few minutes to locate - well hidden. TFTC
Found with Tramper Ted after orienteering in Woodhill forest. The combination of being short and the electric fence made this a tricky one.
Found with Edvern on the way home from the Nationals orienteering. Short people will struggle. Not a fan of nanos in bus stops though. TFTC
Found at 7:54 AM on 7/04/2012.
Quick find this morning on my way to an orienteering event.

A quick easy find in the dark, despite starting from the wrong end. Spiders galore and they didn’t seem too happy being disturbed. TFTC

Cache found with Krtik together.
There we spent 6 weeks in NZ on bicycles. Nice trip thru both islands, interesting nature, wildlife, people, campsites, geocaching, etc... I'd like come back sometime...

Spent a lot longer than usual on this sort of cache, even tried a TOTT to help and keep away from the electric fence. Gave up. Didn't want to risk getting a shock off that fence.
This one took ages to find. Stayed away from the fence and got no joy, so went near the fence and still got no joy. Every crevice was looked into, still nil. On the verge of being a DNF, said one more look in this spot and hey presto, there it was. TFTC. Team avoyager has now "cleaned" GZ from all spider webs...
As we were searching for the cache Mr P suddenly fell to the ground with a groan, I thought he had slipped over but no... he had managed to electrocute himself! I patiently waited until he unwound from the fetal position, restraining myself from continuing looking for the cache. But I'm quite sure its not there.
fabulous wee deer in the paddock across the road, never seen them so small, so happy to get out in the rain to find this one. TFTC
Quick stop on our way to the Atiu Creek trail. No Bradly's or any other muggles around this morning, so it was any easy One For us. Thanks.

Easy find...didn't even realise the fence could be an issue until I read the logs afterward. TFTC.
Found, nice bus shelter, wish I had this when I was a kid waiting for the bus on those wonderfull southland mornings!
Power to the people! Don your rubber gloves and reach out - quick find thanks and no sparks flying....TFTC
Had a poke about in the rain...then ZAP got a far wallop from the nearby fence...retreated back inside the shelter...spotted the cache and carefully retrieved it. Spent the day out and about with trout fly doing a few caches north of home. Thanks for this one and the extra energy it gave me.
I didnt know ishoot could move so fast. Maybe he needs a zap more often. Thanks.
Found it without too much difficulty other than an disagreement with an electric fence.
We were struggling with this until geogar had a "light bulb" moment and yes that wire is live!!!!! But you don't need to touch it to find the cache.

It is a day to pick up the bits and pieces that I had left for another day's caching.
No buses this morning so I was left alone.
Cheers for the cache.

A simple enough drive by find. Beware of the hot wire in the vicinity! (No we didn't test it!). TFTC
(12:06:23 PM/fwgb) TFTC! hey a bit hard at first. Especially with having to fossick through thick cobwebs!! Found it. Lovely scenery
Found while heading out to the orienteering carnival at Woodhill. Thanks for the excuse to stop and stretch the legs.

No worries for the find, thanks for the cache, just happened to be in the area today so it worked out well for a podium finish.

Yep, cache owner got in touch with us - it wasn't where it was supposed to be, but it's now back where it should be. All good
Easy find after a quick search of the bus stop by Hazard Jnr. Cache seems to be where it belongs (based on the hint). TFTC
There's nothing like a bit of "caching in the rain" for an FTF . This one took a bit longer than I thought it would because, well, I just couldn't find the darn thing! I was just using my phone as GPS so figured it might be a little out, but even using the hint, it evaded me. I was even looking around on the ground to see if it had fallen somewhere, as every now and then the wind was fair whistling past. Anyway, eventually extended the search some distance from the bus stop and found the cache in plain and obvious view (green cache on white background) some distance away - a spot that doesn't fit the description or the hint, and very exposed to muggles and the weather. Not being certain about it, I put it back exactly as I found it, but it just didn't seem right. Cache owner is welcome to get in touch with us and and I'll describe exactly where it is, and apologies if the cache is exactly where it's meant to be and this log is spoiling it (will edit if necessary). So anyway, did get there in the end and the reward was an FTF , our 45th this month, 649th in total. Funnily enough on a recent drive past I'd looked at this curious little intersection, and the road name, and wondered about a cache hide here . TFTC!!!
