Does sound like it's gone, such a shame as it's a great cache, I found it ages ago. I live close by and would be more than happy to replace it, but maybe it will have to go
Looked for this one for ages but nothing here as far as we could tell. Hate giving up but it was time to move on.
I have been meaning to do the star swap stroll for ages and today seemed like a good day to walk out the hangover from last nights birthday activities.
Had a fairly successful day with the varying styles of caches in the area
No go with this one after a thorough search

Though we'd try this one on our walk back from the coast. No luck. Hadn't seen all the other DNF logs until we checked in. We were hoping to join in the fun as we also missed Spyder Spider in its original location.
Extensive search around GZ revealed nothing of an arachnid nature ... not sure if thats a good thing or not . Hope its still there somewhere.
Our first day out at Star Swamp, have been waiting for the snakes to go by by's and the weather to be a bit cooler, today was superb, but not for this little black.........spider! We will be back
Despite its recent find, and our lengthy search, no luck here today.... looks like we'll be back to Star Swamp! oh and we did not even find a swamp!
Spent another great day caching with JacobsCrew, in the northern suburbs of Perth.
Visited lots of parks & did some bush walks, where we found a good variety of caches
& some clever hides. Thanks for the cache, starswampers.

I was about 10 metres off, then my son wandered off and I'm nervous of snakes here, so followed him and found it!! The hound and my son were a bit suspicious, I loved it!
Nice quick find. Can't believe I've been wondering around in Star Swamp for over two hours though!
found it - Thanks! Kids loved this one! We had a spare ziploc bag, so we replaced the one that was a little worse for wear - TFTC.
our last cache for the day, a great cache, however co-ords might be a bit off. TFTC

Love it! Bonus of walking in this bushland was the sight of large flock of Carnaby cockatoos feasting on the parrot bush and shredding the big orange Ashby banksia flowers which are out at the moment.
Glad I looked the logs as spider had went for a walk 25m away. Nice easy find though. Tftc

Had to move the coordinates to allow for the placing of 'To Kill a GPS...' which we have just finalised the coordinates for. Spider is just a little further along the trail. Happy Hunting!

Quick find with duncdonut73 and Fiona. We took a longer way in to avoid all the prickles, but found a more direct way out. TFTC
Great find. Fun for us and the kids We swapped the packet as contents were getting wet, not sure if it was water or SPIDER VENOM. [xx(]
Couldn't resist one more on way back to geocar with 6 tired but happy geokids. Easy find for young eyes at a low level. TFTC
Ooh very scary and gross! Fits in well we grabbed both travel bug to take with us to South Australia. Tftc.
Did not find because I was confused about using the compass. Will try again now I understand!

After venturing through the prickles, this cool cache was found by one of the geokids. Path out was a bit more straightforward! Took smurf, left key ring. Tftc
This was our first find, and GPS was within 1 metre, stoked. Kids loved the spider, will forward travel bug onto next destination.
kids verdict: lots of fun, but sticks are very sharp, ouch!

WanderingAus wandered by, having negotiated with iluvtrekking so that I could retrieve GA1920 Message in a Bottle By Bundyrumandcoke to take it to Oz Mega Albury Wodonga.
While I was in the area I noticed this cache and was tricked into thinking it was a decent cache by the size "Small". The spider might qualify as "Small" but the container attached is much closer to micro. I choose not to hunt micros in the bush, and sadly Star Swamp seems to be infested with them.
Of course I didn't realise the deception until I made a fairly quick and easy GAFF 0 find.
My 2,725th Groundspeak Find and overall find number 4893, TNLNSL.

Enjoyed walk along to the cache - loved your camo... no swap. signed the log with C.E. Thanks starswampers.
I(Mr Canuck) had a good laugh here .We knew it wasn't a real spyder but when Mrs Canuck put her hand in to retieve it, she jumped back with a scream..Nice park, lots of joggers.TFTC.
Bike riding with leeiscool58 and the geo-dog. Was looking in the trees to begin with but found it while looking lower... Pretty scary looking. Left kinder surprise toy. TFTC
Found with Shady Ninja and Geodog, this was our last one, took a little bit of time to find. TFTC
Even knowing what's coming it's still unpleasant. Thanks for the cache starswampers.
Checked up on GC. Everything is O.K.
Not sure about the log about poisonous plants as we saw none, authough none of us are botanists

Prickly, prickly. Finally found it. The birds seemed quite happy to have someone blundering around their bushland.
Yay, found it! I've been watching this one since it went missing and now that it's been replaced I've been itching to get out here to find the cache.
There was a lot of prickly bushes in the immediate vicinity of GZ, so rather than diving in hands first, I decided to circle around and approach GZ from a few different directions, and this paid off well, as I was able to spot the cache and grab it quickly.
Thanks for another fun cache starswampers!
