Had a really good search around all the metal on the seat and no cache to be found.
Well it's after midnight so I guess this counts against tomorrows haul, but nice hide, cheers
Found and logged with great stealth avoiding the gaze of nearby diners. Tftc. MattyH from Tassie
Needing a cache to keep up my streak and all else failing I went for this. Also as this was an annoying frowny face on my map I am happy to turn it into a smiley.
When I used to eat here(I don't anymore) I liked foot long flat bread with Swiss cheese and all veges including jalapenos and ranch sauce on top. Nice idea for a cache and I heeded the advice and left the snowmobile at home. TFTC.

Quick easy find early in the morning while waiting for the shops to open. Road works were also about to start on this street, but the workmen were too busy chatting to see what I was up to.
Up in Whangarei to spend the weekend with friends, we popped into town to grab some lunch before making our way to their house. I noticed this cache was hidden just up the street, so Miss Three and I sought it out before taking the sushi back to the car. Thanks
Found with Maryfairy on a nice walk around Whangarei after seeing the kiwis at Kiwi North
Nice quick sneaky find by our youngest member who somehow managed to grab it with people sat right at GZ! TFTC.
Awesome stealthily find by O of CODEHILL! We talked to the Germans who were sat on the bench while O went in to swoop the cache! Easy enough to put back as had scared the Germans off by then! SL TFTC
MMMMM really hungry now ,,,,,, Italian would really fit the bill ....but only silly old Subway here !
Thanks for the oddly named cache !
Thanks for the oddly named cache !
Out for my evening exercise jaunt. Not expecting too many muggles on a Sunday evening, but a few eating establishment patrons were close by, so had to be quite surreptitious. TFTC
Found this cache today together with SpookyEyes during a stopp in this beautiful village. We had a nice walk and a great time.
Thanks for hiding it.
Greetings from Austria.

Found this one together with looki on our way up to the north with our campervan. It was a nice walk by the river and through the town. Thanks for showing!

Out and about completed caches with a quiet night due to most shops being closed. Started on the right side but then went to the wrong side of the street before returning and finding it.
I came over to New Zealand to meet my son, who is staying now for more than five months on the other side of the world. Our intension is, to travel now for 4 weeks through this fantastic land and visiting a lot of fine spots on both islands.
Met in Auckland, our first trip will lead us to the Far North with some spectacular locations, seeing many things, having good eating and drinks and do some fine activities in the sanddunes of Te Paki Stream.
It is a lot of driving, but we think, it is worth the result.
Of course, even if it is not our main activity during this holidays, we will looking for some caches, which lays beside our route.
So this cache was one of those, we've picked up.
Many thanks to butters* for this fine cache and best greetings from Germany.

Quick find. Had to go at night as its filled with muggles during the day. Tftc
#11002. We're quite partial to Italian food (haven't had any in a while). TFTC.
Our first full day in Whangarei and after a big trip yesterday, we were keen to do as little driving as possible, so we decided to head to the city centre and have a stroll around there.
Even though it was muggly, the seat was empty so we quickly occupied it and soon had the cache in hand. Had a look around for the Spicy Italian, but he must be AWOL. Did spot a Subway and a Vietnamese, though. TFTC.

Some muggles in the vicinity but fortunately the seat was still empty. The old loose shoelace trick did the business. TFTC
Cruising around the streets while they are quite to revisit old hunts and sightsee. Three pepper chicken is my favorite. Managed to find a small spot to put mcb but it looks like a sploge..signed the log. Thanks for bringing me here to this place, TFTC butters*, from Mr Cuddly Brick, 15 November 2015, cache number #1053!
57 Too many people I know passing when tried during the week so went back in weekend
I am starting to get muddled between all these nano and ellipse tins. But this one I remember clearly as there were work man working very close by. But the seemed quite oblivious to me sitting down and just being there. I did wonder why it is called this. Or was I just unobservant? Thanks for this cache and another smiley face.
No Italian restaurant any more but that probably meant less muggles easy to feel but well stuck in place. Tftc
Daylight robbery. Able to make the grab on a busy Sunday afternoon (following instructions given ). thanks for placing
Tin had fallen onto the ground but replaced it back to where it should be. Nabbed at 3pm
Found ... Mrs McMike2012 & I had a 'Bear Hunt' in Whangarei today & decided to make a day of it ... doing a few caches both on the way up, while we were there & then on the way back ... this being the 6th of 23 for the day. Parked nearby, no sign of any Italian Restaurant ... only a 'For Lease' building with remanents of a former restaurant ... but a Subway right next to the bench ... easily located cache ... signed & returned. TN:LN:SL ... TFTC ... #909 for us.
Found after the evening ANZAC flag ceremony. Quickly located the place where we fiigured the cache would be from the description however muggles sitting in a van stopped us searching until they moved on.
6.20am - Co Ords seemed out a bit but with only one real hiding spot this was an easy find at this stage. SLTFTC
A Waitangi weekend road trip to collect a few puzzle series of caches that we have solved over the last month or so - plus any other caches that we can find on the way!
A quick find after a dinner where we saw someone compete the "40 minute Burger Challenge" in under 30mins! 75 attempts, 5 champions!

A quick detour on the way home from tea and the cache that has eluded me in the past was found. Tftc
Quick easy find on a Saturday morning without too many on lookers. Joint find by master 9 and miss 12.
This one took awhile as there could have been a
number of possibilities. We had to move on to do
another cache up the road first as we needed a
young muggle to move on. Once there the camo
almost got the better of us but cache soon in
hand. TFTC ;D

Popped down to do another cache quickly while we waited. The only seat we wanted to sit on was taken - picky aren't we. Found the cache easily once the muggle left. Not a fan of spicy food so we didn't sample the food nearby. Had to rush back to the van to avoid a parking ticket - a quick cache usually isn't as quick as it should be and it's so easy to be tempted by just one more. TFTC
My spicy Italian geocaching partner wasn't here to help me with this one but fortunately I didn't need it for this quick find. Tftc.
Out and about in whangarei and showing netfix247 the ropes of geocaching. Nice to sit down after a bit of walking and had to be super sneaky with the diners nearby watching us but cache was soon in hand - tftc
Still struggling with my compass but pretty simple to find once in the right place.
Our first find in New Zealand and happens to be around dinner time, not too many spicy Italian restaurants around, but there may have been. M4yb was in the right location to make this find.
Nice hide here and thanks for a our first in NZ and Whangarei butters*

Our first cache in New Zealand! and in the town where I lived in another life, and worked across the road! This one was a lot of fun, and the establishment nearby smelt so nice, that we came back to buy our dinner!

With a short bit of time before meeting my daughters after their Boxing Day sales shopping and having just not even attempted Quality Street due to the number of people there (scaredy cat) and discovering I didn't have the time to attempt to get to waypoint 2 of Path to Tranquility I just had to get one more find under my belt. Two kids were sitting at GZ but as luck would have it they moved on not long after I got there. Everyone too busy to notice me and made the find, signed the log and replaced in quick time. Hadn't had lunch yet and was I not trying to avoid yeast I might have gone in and got a Subway, as it was I just went off in search of my girls and had a very late lunch at home. Thanks again butters* - my number 3 find of your caches today.
Inspektor Higgins and I came here on our way to Tutukaka! We had a hotel in the city and during a nice stroll through the city we found this cache! Thanks for showing!
Walking through town just before Christmas and this bench was empty! Had to grab it! TFTC
On a short city-tour through Whangarei I was happy to find some cool caches while "sightseeing"
Thanks to the owner for placing and maintainig this quite exposed one
There is nothing spicy anymore here, just a Subway [B)] Time runs....

A day that started in Opononi and ended in Whangarei, a quick burst around the middle of Whangarei while dinner was being collected and then a "Holy" time in the later evening by myself. All good fun - thanks.
Not much happening in this town on a Sunday afternoon - nothing, in fact! We parked nearby to explore the centre when geomum suggested there must be a geocache in this area... and there it was! TFTC
