While we love this spot as a location for a cache DazndKy have moved to Australia and are no longer able to care for this cache. As such the logical decision is to put this one to bed. Many thanks to SkipInNZ for removing the container for us and for those of you who have made an attempt at finding Adventure Playground.
Happy Hunting!

Had a quick look for this one and did not find. Looking at the comments it may have been removed. Can someone please confirm this?
Had a good time looking for this, and treated myself to a turn on the flying fox. Thanks!
Having found "Picnic in Totara" in the dark I couldn't resist another cache. Then the rain came, but I was unstoppable. Still other muggle walkers on the path in the dark. Grassed area a bit mushy. Took a few minutes in the dark and the GPS was a bit less accurate in the trees. Thanks for the cache - nice to find it before archiving.
Having moved from NZ to Australia earlier this year we are no longer able to care for this cache. As such we wish to inform of the intent to remove and archive this cache on June 25 for those that still wish to find this one.
Many thanks, DazndKy.

Exstremely tall climbing frame here, would certainly give you an adventure if you played on it. -TB TFTC
Trackable drop - TwoFactor #4, which is currently the only TwoFactor known to be in a cache. Go find it!
Found after a few minutes' search on a walk around the Gardens today. GPSr reading wasn't all that accurate but the cache was easily located using the hint. Nobody around on a Monday morning which made search and retrieval easy. Signed log, TFTC!
Thought I'd logged this ages ago, but must have got tangled up with my phone crash.
Stopped by while on a walk. No luck on the way up the hill. Better luck on the way back down while the kids let off some steam nearby. Difficult getting a good fix on the gpsr so had to resort to trying to identify meagre landmarks off the satellite map view. All of a sudden it became clear where to look. T4TC

Will check on the cache this week sometime. Thanks for all that have visited so far!
Supposed to be the second in our quick triple today. Sadly it was but a foretaste of disappointment to come. Pretty sure timbowaka and I were looking in the right place. Seemed to fit the description and others log comments, but no sign of it. Shame, cause it looks like great spot.

Had to wait for a school group to move on before a quick find.

Found cache after Mr Wombatseeker couldn't help himself and went down the slide. TFTC
A quick workout running through the trails and up the path, passed some largish people with their fitness trainer.. quickly retrieved the container.. had a look at firefox, but decided a grown man by himself doing it would be odd..
Picked this one up on the way to another cache. Nicely hidden cache away from prying eyes. TFTC
Peals of laughter spread through the trees as our entrepid hero ventured forth to enjoy the dappled sunlight, and to seek what was hidden from mortal sight, his countenance more than a little effected by the words drunk in by his ears, as told by the romancer master Edger Allen Poe
Cluck! TB drop this afternoon while in the area. In Chicken TB Dog Tag - So proof that fowl can climb trees?
Nice stroll to the GZ. Would have played on the play ground but to many little kids round would have asked questions. TFTC

Maintainence run while Mr CDM261 made the find. Happy to report there are no problems here.
Found just as the GPS battery ran out. Kids were playing the the adventure playground...
Added some nail polish and toys.

Last cache for the morning before I had to head back to the airport and home. Not sure but suspect the cache has been found by muggles. Lid was not secure and log had strange name in it. TFTC, Biggles.
Quick find today. First time in this end of the park. Will have to come back to explore more.
It was time to visit the Botanical Gardens again. It has been a while since I was last here.
There were some muggles in the playground but they were busy having fun.
Cheers for the cache.

A spare hour before work so I thought I would grab these nearby DazndKy caches. GPS lead me to a likely spot. A quick look for a quick find. I used to spend a lot of time running around this park. Playground has been upgraded since my last visit, towards the end of last year. Cheers for the cache and the walk down memory lane!
Cool playground for the kids! GPS had us walking around in circles to begin with. Nice hide and good camo. TNLNSL TFTC!
Plenty of muggles around today but nobody noticed me near GZ.
Swapped TB for coin.

Whatever happened to the playground that was here during my childhood!?
These new fancy metal playgrounds just aren't the same as the good old kiwi wooden playgrounds.

9am mid week and all the adventurers were elsewhere. TFTCSL

Nice park, just a bit concerning that both kids playgrounds in this section of the park are straight under the high tensile power cables, we all know what happens to people who live under these, cant be healthy for the kids!! Lucky the cache was not under these, otherwise a neat playground!!

After finding the "Picnic in Totara" Cache I decided to keep walking towards this one. Had my umbrella with me so the rain did not pose too much of an issue. Last time I was in this area there was no park here so rather a pleasant surprise. Will have to bring the kids here for a play soon. TFTC
I am having a good time to-day ( NOT ) . again Marilyn found it before I - All credit to her .. she has found 2 to-day
Didn't find it, but unable to look too hard as park full of muggles on a beautiful sunny day. Not entirely sure if I was in the right spot either as using a older GPS and not my usual toy.
Out & about on a hot Sunday afternoon. There were plenty of muggles in the playground but GZ was out of site. Quick find. TFTC
Found while visiting auckland with new cacher wtfami

I was a bit worried that it was going to be amongst the kids on the playground but, no. Great hide, just far enough away not be be spotted by the playground users. Thanks.
A easy find on out quest to find our 600th cache, left the kids while we disappeared in to the bush, and looked a bit guilty emerging a short time later
A quick find at GZ of a well camouflaged cache. The nearby playground looks fun and I'm sure a lot of cachers with kids will enjoy this one.
One of the 5 FTF's tonight with FMZ. Back to Totara Park area for the third time tonight . We didnt spot the correct path initially in the dark but were soon heading the tight way. Nice walk to GZ for easy find...TFTC
Deja vu - been around here a little bit earlier (Curglaff sure knows how to make us use lots of petrol). Took a wrong turn initially, but gut instinct got us to the right path in the dark, and then it was plain sailing to GZ and the find. 5th and final FTF with 10cc on our FTF run tonight TFTC!!!
