Checked the obvious spot, then the logs. Owner hasnt logged in since March 2014, time to archive?!
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Another DNF here. My bet is it's been turfed down the bank with the rest of the rubble from the slip...
Add us to the DNF list. Mrs SoBad and her sister headed for the Eastbourne area for the morning. This was our first walk and the logs had not been read until we had looked in the likely spots. The rockfall looked like it had come from a likely spot so we also think this has been a victim of gravity.
This cache site has suffered a small land slip and after a good search decided to give it a DNF. We were expecting this due to recent logs but had to have a look anyway. Probably should be removed/deactivated.
Unfortunate little landslide where GZ was. Might need a bit of TLC for this cache. At the end of a fabulous walk from Days Bay, up to the ridge, along and back down the McKenzie track.
Kids convinced me to come to Eastbourne for a walk followed a swim . Saved this cache to my phone and found along the way. Nice walk and views
Cool cache! And what a cool view. Was a spontaneous geocaching session so didn't have a pen but can provide photos as proof of find

Found whilst on a nostalgia trip to Eastbourne. I was brought up in Eastbourne, UK, and visited Eastbourne NZ when, as a cadet with BP Tankers, I was 18, 43 years ago! I had my photo taken then in the doorway of the Post Office so I have now returned and had my photo taken again in the same pose. I would like to think that the post office has changed more than I have, although I think we are both now retired from active service. I'll attach photos when I get the chance.
Found it! Bit damp and wet after all the rain... no money in this one... disappointed.

I hadn't planned any caching today but I'd come around to Eastbourne to blow a few cobwebs away and this wasn't far off the main road. An easy find lying in plain view, which I hid rather better as I left.

Great day for a trip to Eastbourne. Wellington harbour flat calm bright sunshine could not ask for a better day for an afternoon of Geocaching. Walked past the cache on the way up and had to back track. TFTC.
I came out here after dinner to have a quick look for this one. Initially, I made it much harder for myself than it needed to be. Easy in the end once I figured out my mistake.
The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry inside.

A quick grab on the way back down. Cache an easy find, but the coordinates were 11m out on my smartphone. TFTC.

Had a drive along the waterfront today and stopped for lunch at a local cafe. On the way home we popped in to find this one. In hindsight we should have left the car at the bottom of the hill on the main road and walked up. However, it worked out OK and we climbed up some steep stairs to GZ. TFTC
Came back with pen this time.

I flew up from Dunedin earlier today and came across on the ferry Days Bay and this is a slight detour on the way to a nearby birthday party. A quick find.

Easy find but log book has been wet and is flaking. Just managed to sign it. Then a walk to the top of the hill for a great view out across the harbour

#628. I came down to Eastbourne to do the Rona driveby to fill a space on my DT grid. But a muggle was parked up next to it both times I went there. So visited the Mackenzie track to find this cache. It was quickly found in the obvious place. Took some photos of the harbour then off to the event in Petone. TFTC
Found at the end of a hot day's walk. Went in at Ferry Road, along the ridge and back down past here. Quick find - tftc
A bit gung-ho shot up wrong track for a minute came back and went up right one great view TFTC
Found on the way up to the Top of the Mackenzie multi. Cache was out in the open so I've rehidden it behind a couple of rocks. TFTC
Took a bit longer to find than we expected due to GPS on phone not being entirely accurate, but when we ignored phone and asked 4 year old to look in the obvious place it was easily located!
Took us a bit to find, gps on phone is not very accurate. Great views!! Cheers
A short steep walk but a glimpse of the view near the cache was a good reward. Tftc
