As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Walked right into a swamp while looking at phone compass and aiming for a cabbage tree...
Hadn't realised it may be gone.
Off to find a tap to clean muddy shoes now.
Bumma...was hoping for a dnf free day!

Just respectfully saying....

I had hoped to go for this whilst in the area on holiday but as it has not been found for over a year, unless I get bored I probably will give it a miss.

The description states
'As I often use this trail as part of my run route, or to take the kids for a walk in the stroller. '

Well 10 DNF's on the run and last find dated 24/11/16 I think you may be letting your fitness routine slip.

I will keep an eye on it whilst here from UK, but I only have a couple of days in Pukekohe.

Second time looking.....another dnf

Another DNF to add to the list.

Sorry for the delay in logging this cache. We got caught up moving house and have only just got around to catching up on our logs.
We add our names to the list of DNF's. We came here today, with Keylev and family the last finder of the cache. After letting us have a search for a while, and then offering us some very directed hints, they then joined in the hunt and confirmed that there was no cache present in the area they had found the cache.

Unfortunately we were unable to find this one like the last few people.

No luck here, searched all hint items, on the ground in case it had fallen, high, low and everywhere in between.

Teamed up with Iammrwalker, 11HPG11 and Kyb3r for a night raid on Pukekohe. I've been wanting to find a few caches up here for a while but never had the time or other missions got in the way. Had heard talks of this night raid at an event recently and quickly put my hand up to tag along. It turned out to be a very successful mission, even with the handful of DNF's we had. A big thanks to the CO's who's caches we found. Signed the logs as HOAC to save room.

Had a really good look for this one, and even used the coords in one of the logs. No luck for us tonight.

Multiple attempts for this beginner. Changed coordinates as in the log but still no luck

Looked in bushes found lots of bottles.

The walking continued and once at GZ we checked new cords and tried again. opened up the area and found our find. feet getting wetter. TFTF

Headed out this way as a friend was meant to have a stall at the local market but she left early as was not feeling well so after a bit of lunch we decided to check out some of the local spots and take a walk.

This one took us a little while to locate. Thanks to the updated coordinates in the log we got much closer and narrowed down the search area.

Unfortunately we could not find the puzzle in the cache as mentioned in the description .

Very well hidden took awhile

I was out and about,
getting fit today
And strolled from the middle of towne,
and down the steps from above to reach GZ.
A beautiful, tucked away bit of parkland [^]

The fitness stuff was easy to find.
No chin-ups for me thank you !! [:o]
But the cache proved a little more elusive ...
... the clue told me where to look,
but it wasn't helping

And finally while checking the cache notes one more time,
I was giving up the search ...
... when a bit of colour caught me eye nearby [:o]

2366 Walked round in circles looking at what I thought were hint items. About to give up when I spotted a bit of colour.

Found, took us some time tho, co-ords out and height given in clue is not correct.

Not having much luck with the CO's caches. All we found was a cable tie at about chest height, with a bit of string attached.

A wee evening stroll after the rain, nice easy find in am area we had not explored before - Thank you for getting us to new parts of Puke.

we were glad of the hint as the gps was obviously not showing where it was. Haven't seen this type of container before. Very nice.

Out making a trip to get hay into a caching expedition and stopping at whatever cache I had a chance to fix on before GAR drives past. This cache is one of our finds. GPSr was out for us but the hint had us making a quick find. Love the cache hide. Surprised it is still there but guessing no-one would look twice when walking past. Made a note re the puzzle cache so that we can try and solve that at a later date. Thanks for the cache stretch.kerr!

Quick find once the GPS settled and the large dogs nearby quietened. A nice hide, clear hint and nice container, TFTC

The start of a new Geo License Challenge... Gap (of Fap and Gap) and I are on the trail of a variety of cache types, sizes, and difficulty and terrain ratings. Staying dry is also going to be a challenge... It looks likd the rain is going to be a feature for most of the day...

This turned out to be our last Pukekohe find... It almost evaded us too. The coordinates placed us right at the equipment according to our iPhone gps. However, a bit of location examination lead us to ground zone and the cache. It was good to collect the final puzzle clue here. TFTC.

We tried this one yesterday, but there was a wedding party having photos taken right at GZ! We wondered if we could sneak in the back way without bring noticed, but didn't like our chances and decided to come back today as we were staying in the area overnight.
We got here fairly early this morning and only had to dodge dog walkers. Soon found the cache. Loved the camo and thus green space which is obviously enjoyed by locals. Thanks for showing it to us.
I think we'll give it a fav.

After finding the nearby cache, thought this one would be straight forward. I would love to write it was a quick find, but the GPS co-ordinates turned out to be way out. So we were searching in all the wrong places. Not sure how long we were searching? when it felt like this one was out of our grasp, I checked another area one more time and found the elusive hide. Very clever the camo

We copied down the information for the other cache, we might get a chance to do one day? Thanks for the hide, its sure cold out tonight, we have a caching mission of attending the "Rave in the Cave", and could not resist some caching on the way.

The 3 of us, me and Rebel98 and rustynz walked here from the nearby cache and thought we spotted the correct tree straight away! WRONG! The co-ords put us near a punga, wrong type of tree, we went around the other side of the stream, bush-bashed to 'that' tree, nothing there, rusty spotted another tree, nothing there, Rebel shone another torch hopefully to help us, still nothing! We checked again the wrong tree then just as were about to give up, rusty re-read the hint and it said chest height and then and only then we re-checked the right tree and there the flamin' cache was! Well done rusty, loved the container and we took fotos of the maths puzzle for later investigation. Thanks for the cache. onto the next adventure!

Out and about after work this afternoon for a spot of caching after dropping some TBs off at MMM's place. Parked up at the hot rod place and jumped the creek to save precious seconds. Nice quick find at GZ with aid of the hint. Now, that is a type of camo I haven't seen before. Nicely done. In my haste I didn't realise this was part of a puzzle cache. Will have to revisit some time for the info. Cheers for the cache placement!

Out and about for a bit of night caching for the 13 year old birthday, took three extras along with us- might have a few more hooked. Pleased to finally find this one as didn't find in the previous location due to being missing. Loved the camo of this one. TFTC.

I parked at the Hot Rod club, and then saw the walkway from the other side.
My GPSr had me in a very clear spot, so I had to use the clue to figure out where the cache might be. XNSL. TFTC.

found as part of team stik-a-crane now logging under my own name ... I was there to help make the find but wanting a map and history of my own unique kind.

This one had a funny ending... one of our team found this one and did the usual walk away and give the sign for found it so the rest of the team can find the cache... I quickly spotted in the general area what I thought to be the cache, eventually the younger cacher gave up looking so I gave a hint... well upon retrieving the thought to be cache, I found it to be a piece of rubbish, so only one of our team found this particular cache..
I liked the hide on this one.

Heading home from the motor racing track today and decided to grab a couple of caches. Nice and quiet at GZ despite being a sunny afternoon. Quickly found thanks to the hint. Loved the cache holder. TFTC

4.40pm. Thought this was a great hide except perhaps the bright colour of the inner container could be a give away from some angles. Added a little more natural leaf type camo to assist with the allusion. Deserves a favourite point from us for originality. Left a "First Order Cache" pathtag.

Quite an easy find. We managed to solve the first puzzle but it took awhile. Hopefully here the hint has double meaning. NINO TFTC

Came back for second look after reading the clue...and slightly broadened our search area. Liked the camo bag cache was hidden in - clever colour match. TFTC

Spent the day claiming smilies in Pukekohe with the 8yo and 10yo nieces today. They certainly are getting quick at this caching game! It's the first thing they ask to do with us now. This cache took us a little while, as the GPS seemed to be all over the place, but we loved the container once we found it! TFTC

5YO was in control of GPS on approach to this one - though 9YO and Dad figured out where it should be, and raced to find it.
Dad had his hands on it first - and upon reading the logs, a number of muggles have also discovered the cache and have added their names to the log!!!

Was in the area so thought I'd check up on this one. Still right where I replaced it a few weeks ago. Clue updated.

Looks like I'm a cabbage for not finding it today, gave it a good nudge but couldn't come up with the goods. Will come back and try again another time.

Couldnt find it. GPS tried to tell me it was about 7 different directions at once. Gonna come back another day when ots not rainig and im wearing non silly shoes.

I've had a few additional reports of the caches absence, so disabling until I can check it out.

This one has driven me nuts!! Been back a number of times know I am in the right place but unable to come up with the cache in hand - visited again today with some helpful hints from SethRaven and still no luck. Time to log a DNF
