Thought we were in the right area, but couldn't find the cache. maybe the new fence is the reason.
We couldn't spot anywhere the cache could be hiding apart from the fence. The fence at this location is brand new. Could the CO please check this spot?
Yesterday I knew I would be visiting Dungog, and thought that Tomorrow this cache would be found
If I had read the previous logs I would have realised it would be more a cache of Tomorrow When The Cache Was AWOL !!
I did enjoy the views and admired the shiny newness of the recently constructed fence at GZ

On the drive back down the hill you get a great view of the "DunnyWood" sign

Beautiful view from GZ, quick spotted the cache and signed the log. Thanks horseybunch.
Catching up on some caches done while on holidays.
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie so seeing the name of this cache gave me the incentive to try to find it. Being one of a limited number of caches to be found in Dungog was another good reason.
Yes the location is not the prettiest or the views the greatest I have seen but the reasoning for the cache well makes up it. Quickly found the cache then spent some time reviewing the area and thinking about the movie.

my oldest loved the series the movie way based on and when I saw the movie I was astounded by the view and landscapes and how they looked so much like the areas I grew up in. Oh yeh. It was as a kid we often were holidaying in this area. Love the place so wish I could return to live here.
Cache all good and easy find for us today. not too many places to look.
Fav point from us as I love the area

Given previous logs, we were looking forward to visiting this location and we were not disappointed - there were great views over the valley. Despite accurate coordinates, it took a few minutes to locate this well hidden cache. Also as mentioned in a previous log, the logbook was a sodden mess and was unuseable. We removed the wad of wet paper, dried the container and replaced the log with some "write in the rain" paper. Hopefully this will extend the life of this cache as the hide is excellent and the views are great. Thanks for the cache horseybunch.
Found at last but needs replacing as log is completely soaked and unable to be written on. Very good hide tho took us months to finally see it
Amazing view. We should have saved our lunch for this location. TFTC. Log soaked so couldnt write on it.
Great spot. Great view.
Log has been wet and gone to mush. Could get it out. Needs replacing

Definately photo opportunities here.
and much better than the official lookout.
This log sheet is squishy with water as well. (I thought there was a drought out here)
Thanks for bringing me up here, well worth keeping one going here.

Log is completely sodden. Tore in half when I wrote on it. Not sure why as container looked ok? Rusty on top though so that might be it... Needs addressing/replacing.
Passing by on way back from Chichester. A quick find and good view up here. Left a new log as old one was full. Thanks again horseybunch
Our third find for the day, this time with out having to dodge muggles , I am still coming to grips with my new Etrex 30 and drove about 20m past GZ on approach. quickly found the cache and signed the log, the view from here was quite pretty as you can see

On our slow way home and stayed at Dungog overnight. Delighted to pick up these caches. Introduced to the books by Geo-son many years ago and enjoyed the series and then enjoyed the first film in the series. We are supporters of Lincoln Lewis the son of the greatest League player ever - King Wally - Queenslanders!!!! Great views over "Wirrawee" and brought back the film and the imagination used when reading the book.

This one was alright but a pain in the backside to get out the damned logbook.
Holidaying in the area and our first local cache. Watched the movie just before we left Sydney so this series of hides has some extra meaning. Hot days. Great views.

H P remembers the Tomorrow series of books by John Marsden being very popular among students in the senior primary and lower secondary school years. It was fascinating to overlook Wirrawee in the view over a real town.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt horseybunch.

A great view of the town, a nice quick stop off while we were in the area
thanks for the cache

As we were walking up to this cache, I thought 'that couldn't be a marker could it', there was a coke can on a fence post. SKO08A had replaced the cache it it's hiding spot and it was safe and dry. I really enjoyed this movie, so we will try and get a few of the "Tomorrow When The War Began" caches today. TFTC horseybunch
Beautiful view! Cache had fallen out of hole and was laying in the long grass. TFTC
Found on a caching day with Team Unibolt
this one was a lot quieter than the one in the main drag we made a quick find
and on to the next one Thanks Horseybunch for the series

On the approach to this on we were thinking, oh yeah we know where this one is going to be - wrong. Not where we initially thought but the GPS took us straight to the GZ. An easy search and the log was signed. TFTC.
Nice high spot on the hill to view the town. Couldn't find cache at first so I had a read of the logs then we made the find.

I couldnt log the cache on the iphone as the name of the cache was too long and ran of the side of the screen - I couldnt click the button. Having fond the cache on the ground i put it back in its hiding hole - or what i thought was its hiding hole.
Nice view over the town. Spent a few minutes looking in likely hidey holes until resorting to reading the previous log. Maybe it did fall out but we replaced it as we found it.
This took a bot of searching. We started on the wrong side of the road and then searched all the hidey holes. Once we read the previous log we had the cache in hand quite quickly. Definitely going to get the books out of the library to read over the next few weeks.
Was in plain site so we shuvved it into the thick grass at the base of the post so it wouldnt easily get kicked away.
awesome view IVESKI & CAM really enjoyed the books, movie and now the cache...town was a bit buys to go poking around and we already saw other caches out
will venture there again for sure thought

A very good view. I don't think I've beent Dungog before, so got to see a bit of the town today whilst chasing caches. I definitely wouldn't have come up here otherwise.
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache horseybunch!
best wishes,
Wal

This is a great view and it had me curious for ages and has anyone else realised that that they flipped the image of the hills behind the town with the shot from this spot?
Again - thanks horseybunch for a great series of caches.

If we had parked one meter closer, we could have reached this one without leaving the car.
Our 4839th overall find.
A nice early start for this one today. I had to meet a customer at 7:30 so this one was a find in the early hours while there was still plenty of fog in the valley. No views this morning.

Thanks horseybunch.
Thanks horseybunch.
This wasn't as bad a spot as the description might indicate (dump, sewerage etc). Not a bad outlook form up here. Found with Daedalos & Pprass
