Well we probably spent more time than we could really afford here because the GPS was pointing us in a place that wasn't GZ - The GeoPrincess was in the right spot initially but we dismissed her as we thought it was a little too far off. We were about to move on when we met the previous finder TeamMacca who offered kindly offered a hint (which equated to you're looking at the wrong sssssss). So we went back for one last shot, we looked at another location & still came up with nought. TeamMacca confirmed that the cache was no longer in the place they found it. Cheers anyway MADSTARS this is a great place for a cache & we, like many locals, enjoyed the area on a beautiful Saturday morning. The GeoPrincess had a wow of a time going through the POI [^] great also to meet TeamMacca, our thanks for your assistance Big Grin

Our first EVER cache found (apart from our first experience when going along with ROUTERATS) and kids were very excited. We know the area very well and didn't need GPS for this one (going by the title and the hint). Choose this one for our first one because it said it was an easy find. Thanks MADSTARS for our fail proof introduction to Geocaching. Big Grin
Took toy medal and left astronaut figurine.

We walk around the lake often. Did a few of the local caches even though they may have been designed for the youngens. We do live in a beautiful park of the state.
Took monster and left a compass. TFTC

Good one but dont turn up as school is being dismissed. Lots of teenage muggles then. TFTC

I promised my friend that we were visiting a maze and I kind of
thought it would be the hedge variety.
While she made her way through the not so hard maze, I located the cache, logged the find
and replaced it before the next instalment of muggles arrived.
Thanks Madstars

Magnificent weather with everyone, and his dog, out to enjoy it. Watched a family settling for lunch, and getting harrassed by the geese. The family definitely didn't want to share.
Nice easy find, but the co-ords are about 9m out.
Took the GC to move on and left a blue bottle.

Smile After fantastic weather for most of the day, we were racing against time as rain clouds started to come in. Eventually found after a quick search (but also think the co-ords could be out by several metres).

Our second find ever. TNLN.

Had a great time. TFTC

#2 while on the lake run on a beautiful day in Sale. Joint find by miss 2 and master 5 - I've lost count of the amount of time that the kids have enjoyed playing with the local fauna (both real, made and imaginary) in this area. Good to see the geese were as onrery as ever as well.

Thanks for another kid friendly cache!
