Sadly we must close this cache of Purple Dreamers as the road has been widened and the stump is no longer there. We will find a new home soon for the Burramine Gift
DNF at 11:56 AM. On our way to the Boosie Creek Cheese Factory and this cache was beckoning. Saw the geotrail and the obvious spot for the cache, looked around other spots, but nothing.
Nice one. TFTC. Angus the great GeoWestie assisted by grey nomad carer Lis Brown on a journey from Shepparton Vic to Geelong Vic then Coolah and Port Stephens in NSW and back to Shepparton before going to Tasmania.
3556 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1200 on our trip to Shepparton for an event. An easy find SL Tnx Yalluba
Stopped of to grab this one while on way to Yarrawonga for a day of caching! A quick find TFTC
D doesn't matter if they're difficult or easy they're fin to find thanks
I had to be quick as we pulled in to find this cache as we are towing a caravan and the road was rather busy today but I just couldn't miss one of Purpledreamers caches. We had met Fran briefly in years gone by and was saddened to read of her passing, I can't believe how fast time has gone since that day back in 2012.
Thanks to Yullaba for maintaining this cache in her memory.
RIP Fran.

Here's a great little spot to visit
The church is a delight to see !!
And just round the corner,
A caching gift was to be found
But the real Burromine Gift seems to have been relocated to Yarrawonga

I popped "Biggles Bear Gold Geocoin" into this deserving cache

#436 After walking 13.7kms with the geohounds to complete PPPP series it was time to do some drive bys on a loop trip to Yarrawonga then home. Too dark to see the church unfortunately as getting on towards 10pm by this stage. A nice balmy evening with some spots of rain in the middle of nowhere, perfect for caching in our book - TFTC Yullaba.
My first Purple Dreamer cache and I am proud that her legacy lives on. The cache is letting in a little water and the logbook is slightly damp. I wiped out the condensation in the ziplock bag and replaced the cache front-end down in the hope of reducing the water intake. LNTN
Found this one very quickly, but had much more trouble trying to retrieve it. Lucky my arms were just long enough and managed to get it, and hopefully repositioned it in a much easier spot. Thanks for the cache, it was an interesting area.
Quick find, log book a bit damp as container wasn't shut properly, signed log replaced in a zip lock bag as we are always prepared to help out TFTC
Another quick find here but a difficult time had extracting it from the depths.
I hope where I've repositioned it holds it up.
Thanks again Yullaba for another of your caches

Cache was wet and log book damp. Tipped water out. Needs a plastic bag to keep log book dry but wasn't prepared.

Another cache for Fran, have passed by many times and today was the day. An easy find
Have attempted this cache before, but in the dark. So today was the day, arrived at GZ to find the area has had a big cleanup, grass cut trees trimmed. Went to where the co ords were pointing but no cache. Spread our search area and hey presto came up with the goods. A local farmer had found the cache and put it in a different location ( according to our GPS). It appears that the original hide had either been cut down or became too small for the cache. The cahe is now at

#608 on day 175 of continuous caching after a small day yesterday this was set to be a bigger day after going to Yarrawonga MacDonald and finding their WiFi to be a little lacking I asked one of the employees there and he told me about a Laundromat that had a WiFi hot spot so off i went and collected a few more geocaches for the gps and started to work my way toward the days goal of at least 50 and yes I got there and added 1 for good measure.
10 of 51 for the day and this was my biggest day yet. Yes this one was another of the purpledreamer purple boxes and found it rather quickly and was not around very long as it was early in the morning and am still trying to progress towards my goal of 50 it was time to take the power nap and resume after a couple of hours sleep in the uncomfortable position.
Thanks purpledreamer for another of those purple boxes.

Thought we were going to be thwarted by roadworks, but luckily they were not quite on the GZ. TFTC Purple dreamer.

Busy going through my GSAK database and updating caches I haven't sent a log for. Have been using GSAK to keep tabs on my finds. Thanks to the cache owners for the caches. Working my way through those caches that require emails with answers.

I make a bet with my brother that I'll find it before him and what does he do, say he can't be bothered then leaps out of the car before it's even stopped! Yes, he got to it first BUT only because he cheated!
Found in the company of the Earthbound family, walenators and the Farmers 5. Ha ha, I beat them all. Although you have to be pretty darn quick with this lot! TFTC
A quick drive by find. Thanks purpledreamer. Found with the Farmers 5, and Earthbound Control TFTH...SL....TNLN
I'm not going to bother mutters EB Contax from the back seat as the cars were turned around. But before the car was completely stopped he'd leapt out and across the road to make the find. Sneaky devil! TFTC
I was heading up overnight to Tocumwal-Barooga for Blacklegends Bush Birthday Bash Event and planned to do some caching on the way up. Last find for the road trip up and find #15 for the trip overall. Found the cache and signed the log. Headed on to BL's place where I was crashing the night. Eventually got there around 3:30am, had a G&T and chat with Marshy then hit the sack for some much needed sleep. Thanks purpledreamer.
Easy find, a great example of excellent use of a great location. I like it. Took star tag, left dolphin. TFTC.
Parked & grabbed this one at 2.50pm. Dried out container and contents as cache was full of water. Put the whole purple container in a large zip lock bag in the hope of keeping everything dry when it rains. Make sure the zip lock is properly fastened before replaceing cache. Took: Corvette TB Left: a few swaps. Busy little road today with a truck towing a tractor & harrows. TFTC purpledreamer
#1393 Found heading home after spending the last week camping in the Ngarket Conservation Reserve and driving the Border Track. This was the last cache of the trip as it was twilight now and we needed to stop in Mul to pick up the GeoPrincess' gear before heading back to Albury. As it was we didn't get home till 9.30pm and it was off to work & school the next day.....ahhh the joys of it. Thanks for the cache Purpledreamer

I too have stopped past this glorious old church a number of times and always thought it looked right out of place given the small population of the local community. It's a shame more info isn't known about it.
Thanks for highlighting it.

Love the tree so lovely - no swap. Signed the log. With Crank1. Thanks purpledreamer.
micheena - a nice drive by. This place has always had me wondering... for a place with no township, there's a church, and they run a Gift, Must be history here. SLTNLN
Yay... second cacher to sign the log - that is awesome Great cache - certainly an impressive looking church nearby Exchanged swaps and signed log. TFTC
*FTF* Yay me, another local FTF. Well, i honestly didn't think i would get to this one in time. When i got the alert on the iPhone, i was still in Melbourne (this has happened a few times now). So, driving home, i checked the Geocaching App, and still no logs.... Hmm, ok, i will see if i can get it. Got there at about 3.10 pm and to my surprise, a clean fresh log book. Nice one.
This was a great way to finish off a trip to Melbourne. I was able to snaggle a FTF on a puzzle cache last night near Westerfolds Park with Quasar3671. Thanks for this one PD, nice church BTW.
