Found this one quite easily on our walk from kissing point marina. Thanks for the hide
Quite a productive day this is turning out to be, grabbing caches everywhere today. All is well here, but when the rains come maybe it will get wet. ️
After a hard day’s caching, what better way to round it off with..... some more caches!!!! TFTC
Cache had definitely seen better days, and lost its lid. Log was in good condition though.
Stopping for a few caches after lunch. Easy find (not quite so easy in the rain). Log was completely full so I added a new one. Thanks for the cache.
On this quiet holiday weekend we were able to park up without incident nice and close to the cache area and made a very short walk to the cache. Had quite a few challenges today but not here, managed to put my hand on the cache in the first place I looked.
Cache has seen better days sadly, lid has rusted off and the tin is a bit of a rust bucket too but since it's tucked out of the way, log is a bit full too so could use a new one.
Nice easy find and a nice park to visit too. Thanks for the cache.

Traffic was light so I was able to get to GZ without a call for an ambulance. The cache is rusty and the log is full. Maybe the CO needs tall an ambulance to fix this one. TFTC.
It's been a run of DNFs in our attempt to get the last cache for this souvenir but finally success.
This was a quick find once we had parked in the entrance to the old dump which was lucky as we were just about to give it up for the day due to having to head out for the evening. The log is dry however the cache container has lost it's lid so could do with a little bit of maintenance.

Was walking round the Basin this morning collecting a few caches and this was next. Quickly found in the obvious place. TFTC
Out for a run today and I decided to collect a few finds along the way in celebration of Blue Switch Day. My phone got me to the vicinity and the clue got me there. The top is missing but the log is in good shape. Fortunately the rain didn't come and I could continue my run. Cheers for the hide!
step two taking the newbies out for a walk, can we get them hooked on caching.. 12 year old is keen, but is Dad? - come on Dad. Cache missing lid and a little over grown but the clue was good.. no. 2 for the newbies;-)
Cycling around grabbing a fee caches on the way. Should be at the beach! Thanks for the Riser5 and Minimaxi.
As if a 10k hike up to Eagle Rock this morning wasn't enough we're now on a biking mission in and around Whangarei! 12th find on the bikes, 15th of the day. Nice placement!

Finished work for the year and decided to try for a few caches on way home. This one was on the way and was a quick find, despite the location having apparently being attacked by a vehicle recently... TFTC
A nice quick find. Watch a Pukeko down by the water as I signed the log. Cheers.
Next part of the holiday, driving walking and biking around Whangarei and environs. Time to find a few little boxes.....
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Collecting some of Whangarei urban caches today as I head back down the line tomorrow. Another quick find here. TFTC
I'm back up in my home town of Whangarei for the holiday period and today joined up with fellow Auckland cacher yorkshirekiwi83 and local caching friends tikitour for a hot summers day of caching around the city. The logs were either signed with our caching names or some combination of the letters T,V & Y for our caching names - depending on who had previously found the caches. A nice quick park and grab here. TFTC!

Decided to finish the year and see in the new year in Whangarei, Vistra and tikitour decided to join me and we spent the time grabbing caches around the region, in some cases it was just one that needed to sign in others it was all three of us, signed as TYV (or combination of those letters) or VY when it was more than 1 of us.
Nice quick find, TFTC

After having been away for work for the past week this is my second to last day away so thought I should make the most of it and grab a few caches. As this was closest to my hotel it was thirteenth on my list of grabbing caches before breakfast. Its now coming up to 6am so time to go and start getting ready for a days work and presenting some lectures
thank you for the placement

#279 Quick find but cache was covered in dirt from recent earth works. TFT(roundabout)C.
Today we spent a full day of caching in the Whangarie area followed by a bit of sight seeing.
The caches we found today were all in great areas with wonderfull views of the harbour.
Thanks for placing this cache Riser5
Nice quick find. We were concerned that the recent roadworks may have disturbed this but fortunately while it is very dirty it is still there.
Mrs S got this one. One round visually then feeling for it... And there it was:-)
