There was a stirring, Anaconda sensed another nearby. She made her way down the Canning River to the Kent Street Weir and with a quick look back she was gone.
Finally, it has taken me 2 visits to get this one and it was right under my nose. it was a quick find
In the company of iluvtrekking we decided on a 'clean up our DNF's day' and approached this gz again.
Cache was missing on our last visit but today we made a quick find.

I was talking to mistraluna yesterday and she suggested how about going for a day of geocaching. The hardest part was deciding where to go as we have both covered differant areas so she came up with lets do the Anaconda series so i thought why not that doesnt look to hard...How wrong was i, All i can say is Amstradkid most of your hides are EVIL, we did get a few fairly easy ones (not many) but overall we did pretty well with only 2 DNFS. Yippee it wasnt a micro and it was another quick find. TFTH Amstradkid
Out today with OOH YEH to try and tame this huge reptile. Don't know what made us think that this series would be a mere stroll in the park (or along a babbling brook as the case may be), but we gave it our best shot. OOH YEH was quick off the mark with this one, and oh so pleased that it wasn't a micro this time. Thanks AmstradKid
Number 15 of 26 Forrestfield caches that wanted to find today ... quick find here in a place that no muggle with any kind of survival instinct would ever put their hand. SL. TFTH AmstradKid
Not quite was I was expecting, but not too hard a find.
Glad I brought a small torch. Great run for the geodog.

A magnificent day to be out and about caching! Made all the better by the company that I was with!
Thanks Guys oh and Jazl.
This was another that we looked and looked without seeing. The cache was finally located exactly where we had already looked! [:o)]
TFTC AK.

Enjoyed walk via the river - surprise to see the river with no water but some there - wonder what happen in Winter time... Shall I come back and have a look at the river??? Signed the log. Thanks AmstradKid and Jazl.
Anaconda has shed skin all scales back in place.
Checked on cache was missing have replaced with small container

This series has been on my radar for a while, so I decided to scout this one out, I was joined by AmstradKid who took the opportunity to do a maintenance run out of the caching run. On the MTB for the rest of the Anaconda Series. This area does require a little stealth even more than most of the anaconda series I have done. A very tricky hide this one, SL TFTC AK
Please check on all of your anaconda caches, because some of them haven't been found for a while.
We are loving these caches thanks AmstraKid going home soon wet muddy and happy.
I made another attempt to capture the Anaconda. Found on the other side of the stream, got a little wet getting across.
Thanks AmstradKid.
Thanks AmstradKid.
On our 123 mission (100 hundred finds 2 reach 300 finds) this is day 1 find 3, quick find once gps settled
The creek was quite dry here - it sure does vary between such short distances. Thanks for the hunt AmstradKid.
It was a bit too rainy today to find a cache on the bike on the way to/from work, so I dashed home and jumped in the car (after a loooong hot shower) and came out to find a snake scale.
This one was the closest, so I tried for it, and was pleasantly surprised to find it in about a minute, in the obvious place
There was a bird (I think?) of some sort 'hooting' in a nearby tree, consistently and loudly, but try as I might I couldn't spot it. It wasn't afraid of me, as even when I got closer it just kept on going. Wish I could have seen it...
Thanks for the cache AmstradKid - this is my 200th consecutive day of finding a cache

We took the opportunity to spend this last day of the holidays checking out this series. Mrs Jacaro was in fine form today spotting many of these micro's while I was still engaged with my GPS Bee Dance. Managed 12 before shutting it in for the day! Appreciate the effort that has been expended setting up this series. Thanks Amstradkid!
Took a while to find it as it was the first of the anaconda finds, now we see the pattern! didn't have a pencil on us so couldn't log it in .
Had a fairly comprehensive look around the GZ for this cache, couldn't spot it. After finding another in the series, we returned for another look and still had no luck...will have to return and find the remaining ones in the series.
OK, so I've made it to number 4.
Coords were good which made for a swift find.
Maybe just do number 5, then I really must go home !!!

one of 22 caches I found in this series on a mountain bike....started at tail and worked my way to the head.....This is the best series I have done to date and highly recommend it....in fact if you would like to show someone what geocaching was all about take them through this series...I was lucky enough to find all of them, mostly because all coords were spot on....take no notice of previous logs every coord was bang on the money...thank you so much AmstradKid
(I apologise for replicating logs but my memory is not what it used to be)

TFTH I'll find the rest of the snakes scales in due course,
this one was just around the corner.

Decided to attempt a few of AmstradKid's new caches after work today with Duncdonut73. This turned out to be a much quicker find when Dunc spotted the cache. TFTC
I was allowed out as long as I was careful so was seeing how easy each of these new caches was. This was quite near to the footpath but it took a couple of searches of the object at GZ before I located the cache.
Log was blank so was *FTF*.
Thanks for the cache.
