Another quick park and grab to break up the trip. The lids perished but contents still OK. Tftc
Found with e.gregory1 as we made our way along the Goldfields Highway on a trip from Adelaide to north-western WA. Thanks for the cache Shady_Ninja!
Today we travelled from Leinster to Leonora. On the way, there were a lot of geocache, witch we looked for. We found all of the caches and saw a lot of intressting things. All owner thanks for the caches !
Day 9 of the road trip - today I'm relocating from Leonora to Leinster and picking up the caches along the way This was another one that I stopped off at. If it had been closer to the road it would have been a cache & dash, haha. Was spotted peeping out as I walked over to GZ which made for a very easy find No problems here today - TFTC
We are on the road travelling up through central Australian and down the coast of WA .Geocahcing has taken us to so many great places in this beautiful country.I was happy to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Stopped off the make this great hide, while passing through the area.
Thanks Shady_Ninja for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Catching up with very late logs.
After a great trip along the Canni9ng Stock route and then visiting friends in Gerald ton it was now time to start heading home, of course stopping along the way to pick up any caches that appeared on the screen.
We pulled up near gz and after a nice quick search we were rewarded with an easy find and while signing the log we noticed a lot of dust in the distance so we assumed that the copper and zinc mine is still an active one.
Many thanks shady Ninja for keeling this one going.

Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late and generic log, something I am notorious for. Thank you Shady_Ninjafor adding to the adventure that is geocaching.

Had a trip out to The historic ghost town of Gwalia planned for some time now and with the wife keen to check out some of the ghost towns and various ruins throughout the goldfields it was sure to be a great trip.
We travelled to Kalgoorlie and then upto Gwalia where we stayed at Hoover House, which is the old mine managers house for the sons of gwalia mine and offered great views of the pit.
We took a day trip out to Laverton and Leinster with a small detour to grab a few caches along the great central road. After our detours from Leonora we dropped back into Kal and down to Esperance for the last night of our trip.
A great trip away and thanks for all the caches along the journey. Thank you to the COs for their caches.

With a few days off work it was time to head north and grab a few more caches to fill in my blank LGAs.
I pulled over for this one on our way down to Kalgoorlie. and it didn't take too long to find.
This was find number 4 for the day.

We pulled off the road and battled the bush and prickly plants.
Reached GZ and found, signed and replaced the cache for the
next finder. All ok with the cache.
Thanks Shady_Ninja

Found on our way from Sandstone to Niagara Dam. Amazing stories of those early prospectors and settlers. A hard life. How many went out to find their fortune to never return. They could not imagine how mining is done now. Tftc
Eighth day of our 'loop tour' checking our wildflowers and caching along the way. This was our third stop after leaving Leonora heading for Sandstone. Quick find once at gz. Thanks Shady_Ninja
The clue made this one easy to spot.
We are thoroughly enjoying our trip to the area and are perfecting the one finger wave!!!!
Only downside is the number of dead cattle beside the road. Even saw one cow and calf which was a bit sad.
Makes you make sure you are camped before dusk though.
Thanks.

Haha love the blue! Pulled off here for a short wander to the cache! Lots of road trains along here today TFTC
This trip through the Goldfields has been a while in the planning and the main mission was to collect caches in at least another 8 Local Government Areas to qualify for a challenge cache recently set up by megawatt60! I didn’t really have a plan on where I would be sleeping and was happy to throw the swag down once the daylight became in short supply. From Kalgoorlie I headed north as far as Leinster with a few deviations along the way. I then headed west through Mt Magnet and then meandered my way back towards Perth. I had GC and GCA caches lined up and tried to grab as many as I could while passing by. Cheers to all the CO’s for the hides and hopefully I can head back one day soon to clean up the caches I wasn’t able to find on this trip. TFTC
G’day there Shady_Ninja, I was in this area today and found your cache Jag Blue GC2P4D9. I added my name to the log book at 6:29 am on 4 April 2018. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!
This brings our total find count to 9434

Found whilst on a day release trip from the grind to visit Leinster, thanks for the stop and cache
Tripping around OZ & just remembered about GEO when I accidentally found one at a meteorite crater a little ways back down the road , so thought I'd re visit the hunt . Now got my husband helping. Thank you.
Went for a walk today. I saw heaps of wildflowers and a snake.
Hit my head on the low tree branches, I do it EVERY TIME.
Put more swapables in there.

we took the wrong entrance. it did not take long once we were in the right place.
Pulled up ok with 25ft van without getting in any trucks way - glad it's been dry. TFTC.
Is there any mineral they do not mine around here
I thought it was all about nickel and gold
Well there sure are a lot of mines !!
The constant streams of road trains testify to that !!
Here outside a different sort of mine,
a cache was easy to dig up [^]
I'm guessing this mine is owned by the Dutch ??
What else could the NL on the sign refer to ??

On our way out of Leonora today
Thankfully the rain from the previous day has stopped but it is still bitterly cold
Was able to pull over on the shoulder of the turnoff without getting bogged which would be a pain with the caravan
Easy find by Charlie 4

Pretended to be collecting wood as there were numerous vehicles travelling past. TFTC, SL.
Battled the spiders to sign the log. Was fairly open so hid it a little better than I found it. SL TNLN TFTH

Found at 11:59 AM GAFF5 in the company of xambo4u, &others and Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder..
Parked the 4 vans on the side of the mine road and then a short walk to the cache with no undue hardships and the cache was quickly spotted. These few caches along this road have really been appreciated to break up our trip.
Thanks Shady_Ninja.

Thanks Shady Ninja for the cache. We had the company of Team Pathfinder, pprass & xambo4u.
All four caravans managed to safely park which allowed us to head off and find this cache. A quick find was pleasing as the flies were very friendly here.
Out and about with pprass, &0thers and team pathfinders on our way to Leonara. Easy parking and a very short walk with a leg over the fence. Can't miss that blue, cache in excellent condition and protected by the prickly bush. Thanks for the cache

Up in Kal for work, and decided to grab a cache or two on my expeditions.
Another good excuse for a stretch on the way to Leinster. Quick find here today. Plenty of flies though

We followed a set of footprints to this cache, which we presume belong to the previous finder, who must have only just beat us to the cache.
Found on our Grey Nomad trip round Australia. A heartfelt thank you to all the Cachers who take the trouble to hide caches, for the likes of us to break our journeys on. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

On our way to Leonora today with Happyjacks55 and picked up this cache on the way. Thought with no logs that it might be a first to find but in fact it was a first to sign a new log. TFTC
Hello!
Jag Blue has now been replaced! Different container to last time but the name still works.
I didn't have a notebook to use as a logbook so I have improvised.
Madness or genius, you decide! Its waterproof without even trying!
Pen inside, plus a few other bits a pieces.

Now that's better than a thin walled Chinese take-away container. The wild flowers were lovely here. Thanks Shady Ninja.
I took the geo pooches for a walk while superpops found cache and signed log. tftc
