Logs
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
As per previous logs - we were the last to find this (March), the area was being cleared and the cache gone when we checked in May. No response from the CO to date.
There has been some serious 'gardening' done in this area since our visit in March. CO please check as the cache is either gone, or is covered and can't be retrieved.
This was our second go at geocaching, it was hard to figure out where the path started and we searched for quite a while, almost gave up then found it at the same time as the mozzies were attacking us! Thanks. Wolf and fences still there but no sign of LRRH.
What a mission! Makes it a cooler find. TFTF Dogmatix ?? and Indy Jones ??

Nice cache, found it after a little looking around. Swapped a cool toy soldier for a bouncy ball. TFTC!
Somehow the missus managed to miss this one even though she must've been looking mere centimeters from it - but the GPS was sending us further in, so she discarded the spot too quickly... found whilst having a second look, all good with the cache, thanks!
Found in the company of Nova lightning, sorry but thought that I had previously logged this cache

It did take a couple of minutes to locate this one but soon had the log signed and heading off for the next cache.
Scratching around for ages, was going to give up, decided to give it one more go and found it next to where I had been, TFTC.
GPS and compass mode really erratic on this one. Could not find gz. Walked up to the whale mural before trying again. In the finish, nine year old niece found it easily without help. Made her day. TFTC.
Neither the location of the hinted track, nor that of the cache were obvious to us, and after a short search, we gave up as we had only limited time available.
Liked the whale mural at the car park!
Tucked the wolf into the cache so that it couldn't scare Little Red Riding Hood as she walks along the path --- but in case it gets stroppy we put in 2 fences to trap it with and a tree for LRRH to hide behind!!!!

A nice find while in the area trying to locate some of the caches listed since my last visit. SL TFTC
Took a while to find this one, three of us on the case. Planning on a big day of geocaching.
Caching with nzkeko and found quite quickly thank goodness because it was pouring. Lovely clue.
A very easy find, too easy in fact as it was virtually out in the open. Had to nail this one as its within 500m of home. TNLN TFTC
Went for a walk with the kids and Brother 'n Law after breakfast. The track down the stream was a tad muddy until we got to the part where shingle has been laid. Looks like there has been a fair amount of work done to clean up the area - good job to the council. Quickly found by my youngest once pointed in the right direction.
Found in the company of Kiwileo and Tarr_Family. TFTC

Papa scout & 4 scouts 2nd find of the day. Quick find now that the scouts have the hang of it.
Found during a cache raid of Tauranga. Cache soon located, great artwork nearby T4TC.
#335 Just about had to replace the ground cover around some of the trees, but cache was well hidden and needed a second look to locate it. We sharpened the pencil. We note that there is no 'Geocaching information' in this cache in case it is found by mugglers. In: Geocoin Out: nil TFTC
Right by our school! Coords are a bit out but hint makes it easy. Good to have some more caches near our place.

A relatively easy find after a 5 min search. Had a chance meet of other cachers before the event.
Cheers.
Cheers.
Met up with Miles already searching for this one but it was then soon found. Nice
to meet up with a new cacher. Team Geckoh arrived while Miles and I were talking.
Cheers for the cache.

Cheers for the cache.
3649 Found after a catch up chat with Tufty and meeting with Mils (whose name we have seen around at a number of caches). Mr Geckoh made the find quickly, following the geocaching trail and with the use of the hint. Time for one more cache before we head off to the event. TFTC
**** FTF *** My third one yehaaa!! The second one in this series that I have been keeping an eye on. Was stoked when saw no one logged it by this morning. Cache found at 10.15am with Mosh who had a great explore of the bush area. Our first instincts proved correct as it turned out, the co ords seemed to lead us up higher. After a fruitless search there Mosh decided to give up sniffing trees so I sat down near the track start to have a think and something made a noise under my hand lol. Found it, by pure chance haha. Parked on Arawa Street, a few wandering dogs on the side streets off there so if you have a mutt keep him on a leash.
Could see where a few other had been looking around the area. GPS wanted to go more up the hill but quick find.
Found on the way to the near by caching get together .... seams many others had the same idea
Once again we had a look for this on the way to the Tauranga Capers event. but alas we couldn't find it. Could see where others had been but still had to give up as we were running short on time. We will try again some day.
