Lucky last of this series. I parked up at the car park. Raced over the bridge to find the cache. Lots of little flies/midges around GZ that stuck to me! I have 5 minutes to get thru the gates, its just before 7 pm. The weather has been perfect, lots of caches found, just a couple of DNF, so a good day
Out caching on Puketutu Island, must have been using an old pocket query because these caches came up to find. Nice quick find, caches still in good condition.
I had these caches on my gps and didn't know they were archived til I got home to log them. A nice quick find here after doing the Puketutu Island caches.
Making room for all the new caches that get published during work hours when I can't go out for them.
Out for a caching walk with Miss Davieland to Puketutu Island. Nice series of caches. Could not sign log due to water issues and we didn't have a spare with us. TFTC.
Well placed, but sad to say the log has deteriorated beyond repair. It is a damp torn, crumpled and unsignable mess,

Found it with Team FIN [janahola, kapeka, laalaa & temyllyl]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!

On a geoholiday road tripping to Christchurch MEGA and around beautiful New Zealand. Our four people group (temyllyl, laalaa, kapeka and myself) from Finland used group tag FIN to log the caches.
Last day in New Zealand. All fun things come to end. Will defenitely come back! Today our trip continued from Hamilton to Auckland Airport. Of course with some caching on the way. We had lots of fun and saw many nice places and caches. Thanks for the cache!

FIN (laalaa, janahola, temyllyl, kapeka) holiday in New Zealand. Our last day this trip. We have seen in many places, but still stayed to seeing next trip.

18th and last day on our geo-roadtrip in New Zealand. Logged using our group nickname FIN with janahola, laalaa and kapeka. After having a blast in South Island and in Christchurch Mega event, we had to start heading back home. All good things come to an end, and so did our geo-road trip.
Went for a late run and found this one. I'll do the series on the opposite way TFTC!
Geocaching my way around Auckland with Just-Lookin.

Thanks heaps for this series we have enjoyed the quick finds and views. Never been down this road before. Tftc
Some time available this morning and I decided to visit an other place in Auckland. Let's have a look to this small Puketutu Island ! There's fog and the atmosphear is really strange but also relaxing. A large part of the Island is private, so I visited the 2 accessible parts from the parking and also visited several caches on the digue.
Here's the outlet of the waste water treatment plant - the water is hot and full of food for insects, fish and birds. I've seen an amazing number of birds around the area. Step by step, the fog has disappeared and the sun replaced it. I spent 2 hours in the area with pleasure !
thank you for all these caches.
The first one for me in this serie. quite difficult to find but the next ones have been more easy !!

In town for a few days for a concert and a weekend away so decided to get some caching in as well. Thought that a power trail was worth a go so decided on this on seeing as it was close to where I was staying! Great and enjoyable trail! TFTC
Didnt think I would find this after searching the tree, until I realised it was right in front of me. Tftc
Out for an afternoon Geocaching with the aim to break our daily record of 15. Down to the last CP battery. Time to get in the car and do a few drive-bys whilst the phone is charging. Find No. 28
Last in this neat series. Getting stinky waft from the trucks coming and going from the island. Smells like dead fish ... LOL. Even tho', thanks FMZ for all these placements. I have really enjoyed the run. Cheers.
A quick park and grab on the first day of my NZ cache tour. Visiting form Sydney. TFTC
Another easy find. Hardest thing was getting to it when there wasn't a group of people there.
Time to head into the city now. The rest of the trail will have to wait. Thanks for an enjoyable caching session

Just flew in from Perth Western Australia and landed to early to check in to our accommodation so we decided to grab a few caches to kill time . We manage to find 31 and all were found quite easily.

We took on the MWTP series today. Due to the number and similarities of the caches I will split into 2 logs to cover the lot. Island Rd caches. Liked the first one (#5) on this road – spotted from some distance away as soon as we got out of the car. The caches got progressively stinkier as we made our way along the road. It was a warm and humid day and the smell seemed to hang around. It started spitting & we thought that might lessen the smell. We were wrong. OK need to get through these quickly then. Lots of midgies around today. All good until we got to the final one & Mrs beconaze was trapped in the car due to an aggressive and populous swarm of midgies (see pic). We pulled up next to the cache and spotted it from the car so Mr beconaze could make a dash and retrieve, sign and replace. Almost finished the series, we just had to dash back and grab #7
Another one needed as a top 20 fave within 20 miles from home so pleased to have this one found. TFTC
Last cache for the day, was nice to finally finish this neat trail down here.... tftc
Had our eye on this trail for a while, and having not cached much around this area decided to give it a go. After heading up Mangere Mountain, we managed to get all but 3 of this series. Thanks fmz
This cache was found in the company of CatsandDragons. We left Hamilton after work to grab a bunch of caches in this area. We appreciated the varying type of hides and high quality camo on many of the containers. Thanks for placing these caches and providing us with an enjoyable evening/ night adventure. C&D already had this one, but was kind enough to wait a few minutes and let me grab it before heading off.
The race is on between ig and mig. good luck to the girls having their dinner on the lake side. Tftc
After returning our camper van, we went for a walk to collect a few caches...

We did the stinky trail in the middle of MWTP and have now returned, starting at this last one and working back along the causeway.
Found on a honeymoon trip around NZ! Last day here! When got to the airport hotel we had a few hours of sunlight left. The geo-hubby was sleepy, but i couldn't resist the call of the caches. This area was pretty deserted so it was easy pickings. As the sun set I was wondering what was at the end or the road. So I skipped a few and headed out here! TFTC!

Had to drop Middle Junior off at the airport at some unearthly hour so had an hour or two to kill before having to be back in town. Just enough time to pick up a few caches (some MWTP ones and a half dozen stinky jobs too).
Still enjoying finding these caches, not a bad way of spending the day I reckon.
I started at this end early evening on a Sunday with low muggle activity. My phone was at 13% power so it was a race to see how many I could find before it died. Plenty of birds around to watch
We decided to bring up our numbers today. We looked at the map, we took our bikes and out we went. We picked up all from 1 to 20 except for 16 which we had to sign off on the way back when the "honey mooners" had left. Thanks for the power track.
Found as part of the family - "find 28 caches in one day and get to 400". This part was done in car, though when the kids are older certainly need to do some cycling around here.
Yaaay! Number 20 found! Real stealth required as there were more muggles parked up watching the birds. Thanks for this interesting trail.
All caches in the trail have either full or nearly full logs and need replacing soon.

Thank you for the effort in producing this little power trail, it is just what we needed to get the numbers up on our geo caching holiday from Australia.

This whole series could do with some maintenance. Almost every logbook is too full to sign and in tatters. Some other cachers had added extra pieces of paper for signing, but these are small folded pieces and are crammed in the container causing damage to the original log. I added a page from my waterproof fieldbook to #8, but was not going to do this for all.
All in all, it was a very easy series to locate and had it been daylight would have been much more interesting. Perhaps one day, I will revisit the area to get an idea of the surroundings, but as the page suggests, if you are here for a short time, there are more interesting places to visit. Was back to the motel in bed just after 11pm. Thanks for the series.
These are fantastic to do with kids. Very quiet with no muggles around. Miss5 loved it
This was our 1st day of caching in Auckland. This series was just around the corner from where we picked up our motor home. So what better place to start our caching tour. Well to think about it , there are so many more scenic & sweet smelling places.
Added a favourite point for the series
All the caches we found were in good condition .
Thanks for placing this cache funkymunkyzone

Despite the slight ordure in the air Dottie and I enjoyed the drive and the walk we did to grab this series.
Many of the logs are full, some of the caches have additional bits of paper being used as spare logs but these are crowding the cache somewhat and causing the logs additional damage.
Took binoculars and watched some of the local avian residents.
Thanks for setting the series.

With a few hours to spare before my flight back to Christchurch, this series was the obvious way to fill in the time. By now the light was almost gone and they were getting harder to spot. TFTC.

I had great joy in logging this series with the help of a local and a fellow traveller. Thanks for the series funkymunkyzone it has enabled this foreigner to get a bunch of caches while visiting your country. TFTC TNLN SL.
As promised by the Spiderhouse, this final one was easy (thankfully). And so finisheth our Auckland power trail experience. (Probably faster to do the series than to log the finds?)
We saw a duck with eight ducklings! And now, a stroll around Mangere Mountain by the easy route and then negotiate the mororway to Devonport.

In Auckland for a Masonic Convocation in the nearby Hotel. We have been watching this series for some time and what better opportunity but do cache between conferring.
Thnaks funkymunkyzone. We started the series from #20 so will give you a fav now.

RuruNZ and I decided that best plan of attack after coming round the corner and doing ones on passenger side was to drive right to end and work our way back. Didn't bother with the multi as too many trucks working today. Another quick find and on the homeward stretch.
Originally logged and found whilst out with mum (keylev) but now have own account so logging all finds I was present at and helped with.
Thanks for the cache.

After getting to number 10 decided it would be easier to start at the end and work our way back as they were all on the same side. The kids thought it was fairytale like to find a private island.
Unfortunately we only found the wire where the cache had been so had a little hunt and soon located the cache. Signed log and then refixed it onto the wire - hope it holds.

Recently turned Premium, so I'm now dishing out favourite points to the caches that I've enjoyed the most. A point for the great series, although I still need to come back to find #2, which was missing at the time. A nice day out with my visiting mum too!
