On the way home from caching for three days in Tauranga...Stopped here on our way back.Nice quick find thanks .
A quick stop here on our way home from Tauranga. A short scramble up to gz where the decent sized cache was soon spotted. The lid was off the cache, so the log was wet. We still managed to sign our name on the log though. TFTC
After a lot of scrambling and dodging gorse and cobwebs, we found it! Logbooks are absolutely saturated so I didn't bother trying to sign anything. Warning for future cachers: This is NOT a 2 for terrain- it requires a bit of bush bashing and climbing a relatively steep slope, then ducking under low branches. TIP: Enter the bush from right behind the electrical box .TFTC!
Day 13 on our holiday in New Zealand. Today we are in the area and surrounding area of Rotorua. We also visited this tradi, found it, and signed the logbook.
***T4T$ - Many Thanks to hotwheelsnz for hiding and maintaining of this cache*** ️

Whack, whack, whack through the kikuyu, gorse and branches. Log was quite damp and difficult to sign but not as wet as I. TFTC
Nothing like a bush bash early in the morning. Log was a bit wet was able to log my visit.
Started to read the page as we were on the way and began wondering if it was wise to do at night. Ohwell...followed what seemed to be the right way in and a little further up to make the find. Good shoes and pants recommended! Log too wet to sign unfortunately.
Lucky last find for the day after a busy long weekend of caching. Not quite the quick park and grab we were expecting. Should have read the logs. Terrain rating needs to be higher. Getting up us to be a lot easier than coming down. Both of us had a tumble at different points. Log is soggy but both bags it was in were left open so would be great if cachers could reseal bags to help prolong the logs life span. A bit battered and bruised...ready for a spa. TFTC
Map was slow to update my movement and not in exact spot of the map. Black container
Couldn't find my way back out once I found it . It is a fair way in and my GPS said its another 8m away from where it was... found it nevertheless!
After all the recent rain the only hydroslide was the steep slope heading to this cache. Couldn't get any traction in sandals. Didn't seem to be in obvious spot and with trees dripping wet left it for another day.
It was night, and it was wet and I was using my phone's torch. Plus I think a police car stopped nearby to check on me so I left soon. Will be back
Horrible place! Too overgrown and prickly and so noisy and in the open to the passing traffic. No thanks
On the way to mclaren falls stoped for this one. Took longer than expected and I think the terrain rating should be higher. Doesn't help that i was in jandels. Cache was a bit wet and should get some maintenance.

Have been intending to get this cache for a while and today was the day. Found a way up from the rather messy lay by then into the scrub. Followed my nose till the track ended - cache spotted. Signed log, TNLN and left as found.
Beware of plants that want to trip you and others which want to puncture you!
Thanks the the find..

Mr ABCDF4 climbed the bank and off to GZ and found the cache, whilst
KayGeeDee located another cache in the drain, both had log books,SO
we put all log books in the water tight container and placed it back at GZ,
Suggest Co do a maintaince check.

I tried a frontal assault to GZ, but got thrown back by the steepness of the bank. I found another way to GZ taking the long way around. TFTC.
Heading home via Matamata so stopped for a few along the way. Really appreciate the same parking area near this cache and although it was a little bit drizzly it was a quick bush bash to get this one. Great place for a cache and back on the road again. Cheers
#362 apparently.
This was the only find of the trip due to feeling too exposed at most of the locations then being rushed home. This also felt a bit exposed initially as this road always seems to be busy but it turns out that GZ is adequately hidden. Thanks for the cache.

On my way back from Tauranga and need a bit of a stretch, yes a bit of bush bashing required, but quickly found
A fairly quick find, just a slight bit of bush bashing required to get to GZ. This cache is well hidden and theres no chance of this one ever getting muggled. Upon reading the logs on this one now, it seems theres two caches in place. We signed the log on what appears to be the original hide (black screwtop container) with last log being Etherlord Clan. The cache was not white as indicated in a couple of previous logs. Thanks for placing this one, we've been meaning to stop for this one for awhile now
Convinced KathyKaches to take a day off work and come caching with me...we spent the day collecting caches while driving from Tauranga to Hamilton (and stopping for coffees and treats along the way of course).
I drive between Hamilton and Tauranga quite a lot so always look at the 'hydroslides' when passing and have been meaning to pick up this cache for a while. Was glad to have KK with me as it was a bit of a mission!
This is my #200th cache (YAY)

So glad to have sarahbee20 with me for this one - a bit of bushcraft required, tftc.
Found with MrsTryfn as part of the Show Me The Ropes Challenge. The container is now white and there is a spider in residencem TFTC.
Zara, Etherlord and I are at last on our way home from the Turangi Mega. The trip back to Palmerston North will take three days!
Nice easy find by Etherlord who was faster off the mark than me. Nothing wrong with the cache - could the CO please log an owner maintenance to remove the needs maintenance attribute, thanks.
Signed as ZECATS - Zara, Etherlord Clan and the Seagnoid.

It took the Seagnoid and I three days to drive the ~250KM from Palmerston North to Turangi for the Mega.
I wonder how long it'll take us to drive back home given that our post-Mega road trip will be via Tauranga to collect the North Island's only remaining Webcam Cache!
Both of our GPSr's were going in different directions, and had us all over the hillside. Mine eventually led me through the gorse and I bush-bashed my way on to GZ. tS started to bash his way in to join me but I told him not to bother. I held up the cache and showed him where it was hidden (and promised to sign his name in the logbook as well), and he trekked back down the hill to Zara who has waiting patiently at the parking coords.
Thanks for the hide, signed as ZECATS - Zara, Etherlord Clan and the Seagnoid

#602 - Found on a cache mission 2 Hamilton with my caching buddies. This was our 1st stop. Cache was where the hint states Tftc
Had to climb up the side as I'm short. Easy to find once I burrowed through the bush to get to the tree. Great start to the caching mission day with my buddies!
On our way over to the Mount for the week with our nephew, so a quick stop off to grab this. Took a little hunting and bush bashing, but eventually found it, thanks
F Frei and I found. A slight bush bash. Lol. Not where we expected it but easy to find after re reading the description. Left a pencil in the dry bag, pencil sharpener was already there
Lovely big cache by a landmark that has fascinated me since childhood. As others have said there is a hole in the container so we left a new dry log in a small plastic bag. Thanks for the cache.
Log wet so didn't sign. Didn't have paper on us unfortunately. Quite a cool spot though.
Went over to Tauranga today for my grand-kids cross-country event. They were lucky with the weather. On way home decided to do some geocaching. This one was easy to find the tree but getting to it is another story. The weather wasn't playing ball either. Found cache. Everything is wet. The container needs replacing as the rats have eaten a hole in the bottom. SL. Put back under cover. TFTC.
Nice quick find here today after a mammoth day of caching in the waikato with Philip.Perry and Tnxpro we manged to get about 150 finds today starting at 4am and getting home at 1130pm.

#52 Out with LimmyB. and cam_777 on a caching trip to Tauranga. Our last find on the way home. 15/15 yay!! Didn't look at co-ords and decided to follow what we thought was a geo-trail. Lesson learnt, check co-ords before following a trail of squashed long grass a good distance up a hill. Container is cracked and a little leaky. TFTC
Caching trip with camlia and cam_777 to Tauranga today. Last one of the day 15/15. Our best day out yet! Went on a little adventure with this one until we looked at the co-ords and clues. Deary me. TFTC
Tauranga day with Camlia and LimmyB. 15 from 15 today!! Walked further than we had to. Never mind. Seen these lots from car when we go to Tauranga. TFTC
On tour in NZ! To safe time and space we signed with CG3 ( caching girls 3)!

Big pipes! We found the cache on our way to Hamilton. Unfortunately we leave NZ tomorrow...But TFTC! Greetings from Denmark!
Cache had been left open and exposed, was full of water. Did what we could to dry it out a bit, but it may need the container replaced, as it appears to have a hole in the bottom. TFTC
Lid was off so log was soggy. Did what we could do but really needs some maintenance. Thanks
Wow that big slides! After short search I found the big container and signed the logbook. We continued our way to Tauranga.
TFTC!
TFTC!
Found it with Team FIN [janahola, kapeka, laalaa & temyllyl]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!

On a geoholiday road tripping to Christchurch MEGA and around beautiful New Zealand. Our four people group (temyllyl, laalaa, kapeka and myself) from Finland used group tag FIN to log the caches.
Today our trip continued from Tauranga to Hamilton. Of course with some caching on the way. We had lots of fun and saw many nice places and caches. Thanks for the cache!
Welcome to MEGA Finland in 5-7 august 2016!

17th day on our geo-roadtrip in New Zealand, and caching our way towards north. Logged using our group nickname FIN with janahola, laalaa and kapeka. After having a blast in South Island and in Christchurch Mega event, we had to start heading back home. Fortunately we still had few days left to spend in NZ while driving to Auckland.
Tftc. Quick find today, on our way to collect water from the spring up the road a bit further.
