I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi TheB0rg
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

My employer required me to attend a course on this side of the strait. So, even before I had planned flights or accommodation, I sussed out a heap of caches that I would pass near, or could get out to, after hours, in darkness.
After day three, and some dinner, I rugged up with several layers, grabbed several lighting options and took a wander round the streets and the HRT in a 5 hour, 15 km loop.
Being one of the solved ones on my list I spent quite a while here, almost waist deep in one of the caves, but was unable to find anything that resembled a cache container. I found leaves, wrappers, socks and spiders but no container. Like the last searcher I too might add it as a watch.

Had a look this evening. Unlike the previous looker, I had no qualms about reaching in and ferreting around. I don't know if my arms weren' long enough, but I coundn't feel anything that felt like a cache. I didn't feel any creepy crawlies either. I will put a watch on the cache and see what the future activity says.
I think I know where it is, but going to come back with gloves to avoid getting bitten by spiders or wētā
A fascinating puzzle to research. FP from me. Today in the area, so resolved to find. Not in the obvious spot at GZ, so had a quick read of past finders logs. Soon found some good advice. Moved my search by about 12m, found the cache fairly quickly. All good in the container. Tftc!
I solved this cache a long long long time ago, and then a long long time ago, July 2021, I came looking for it but didn't find it. Then a long time ago - only 3 months ago, actually, I came out with TwigNZ for another look. We found it, but I didn't sign it, as I was working on puzzle dot days and wanted to save this cache for later.
Which brings me to today. I need a cache - a size small, as I am working on getting my smalls up to 3 per day. There is a light persistant drizzle out there, so I thought I might as well take the bike on the train and go a little further afield than I would normally. Upper Hutt seemed like a good idea. I found a number of smalls within a few kilometres of the station - lots of backups in case I dnf one, and I shouldn't get too soaked.
Except that whilke I was on the train I saw that this cache has had three dnfs so I thought I would stop by to see if it was still there. Not worried about collecting a puzzle cache - I just have one puzzle dot day left, and I have a puzzle close to home in reserve for it. None the less, stopping here was a wrong move. a) my cache details were old - this cache has been found since it was dnfed, but I hadn't seen that at the time, and b) I forgot to check if there were other smalls nearby in case I dnfed this one.
But no, it was all good. Cache was found, nicely hidden away. Dry inside, decent size, nice area, and a nice little writeup and research based puzzle. Definately gets a favourite. Despite the rain.
On the train on the way back home I had the same ticket collector as on the trip out!

Past logs helped set us in the right direction for the hide and a quick find followed. Quite a pretty little spot.
Inspired by the recent find by trancer96, I went back further in history than I had on my previous occasion (all the way back to the logs from the WENZ weekend) to read Geodatum's log. Aha!
So back at GZ again this evening, and once again my phone puts me about midway between where I searched last time, and where the cache was found today. So last time I simply headed for arguably the more obvious choice for GZ, when in fact I should have headed about 10m in the opposite direction which lined me up perfectly with the spoiler in the Geodatum log.
Nice to have knocked off another DNF. Thanks for the puzzle cache.

Nice to have knocked off another DNF. Thanks for the puzzle cache.
After reading some logs after my DNF I saw many references to the helpfulness of the log by geodatum (which I tagged accordingly). I realized when reading that I knew where it was - and I didn't search there on my original visit because it was nowhere near the coords. Arrived today and went straight to place I imagined it and, um, nothing. How about if I go in the other way? Still nothing. So on with the gardening glove and feel around in there some more. Aha! So it is exactly where I thought it would be but it is very well hidden in there. One would have no chance of seeing it as the cache is dark so feeling is the only way to find this. When I put it back I felt it drop slightly into a little recess which is why it was so difficult to put a hand on casually and needed a proper examination. Unfortunately I didn't take an averaged reading while I was there otherwise I could have provided an appropriate +/-correction to the coords. I liked the puzzle and the hide but the coords really need updating. TFTC.
I only just solved this a few hours ago because I knew I was going to be in the area and it looked promising. I didn't look that hard to be honest in light of the previous DNFs so I'll wait for it to be found by someone with more perseverance first.
On my way home from work this evening, I still needed to grab a cache for the day to continue my streak. I didn't want one close to home, or too close to work, so this one seemed to fit the bill.
A quiet-ish afternoon as I parked up near GZ. My phone kept telling me it was 'there', but the location about 6m away looked far more likely. I searched both of them, and concluded that the most likely one was even more likely, but has deteriorated in such a way that if the cache was there then it's either buried or disappeared. Damn!

The hide has collapsed and I did not bring a spade. I'd use my hands, but I am in work clothes - it's lunchtime.
The CO should probably check this out....

Having DNF'd this one a couple of years ago, and seeing that it had been found several times since, I was determined to find it tonight. Checked my coordinates, and then headed back - This time I took a second set of eyes with me. Coordinates kept leading me to the same place that fit with everything I read but still I found nothing. This time we widened our circle of searching and eventually, after much poking around in dark cobwebby holes, I finally heard the magic words. Hidey hole was a bit small for my Yeti paws so my friend had to do the retrieval honours (which was not enjoyed due to the spider risk) and the log was finally signed. TFTC.
Had a look, went away for a walk came back and had another thought and got it in my hands. Nice
Tough hunt, but Geodatams log put us back in the right direction... Then became easy find. Loved this puzzle, solved during lock down and had to rewatch the movie for fun!
21 June 2020 12:19. Another one solved during lockdown, but saved until I had a reason to venture out this way today on a geocaching foray with GSEL, finding caches whilst trying to avoid the ever threatening rain.
Like most others, we went to where the GPS pointed first, before reading previous logs and heading back up the hill a little. GSEL checked one tree, I checked another, and found what we were after. Cache is in excellent condition, and nicely tucked away. TFTC

#8075. A few weeks back during lock down Infoferret mentioned she had solved this one. I must have looked at it soon after starting caching as it looked familiar. Clearly did not make much effort to solve it as once I started looking for the information I had it solved within half an hour. Uploaded the coordinates and decided it was a suitable cache to pick up on a damp day. Today was that day but luckily the rain had gone by the time I drove up here with Infoferret. We saw the object that inspired the cache name and started hunting nearby in a lot of places that looked suitable but were ultimately empty. IF read through a few logs and saw the one referring to Geodatum's log. So read that and that changed our search image. We headed up to that area. I went too far but IF persisted with the first location we had walked to and soon called out found it. Not too deep but still takes a bit of effort to remove from its nook. Signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks TheB0rg for the cache.
The puzzle was straightforward, but we failed to find the cache on a previous visit a year ago. Today we went armed with all the extra information we could find in the logs, but this turned out to be unnecessary, as we found it very quickly today, probably within 10 metres of our coordinates. TFTC
# 272 Haha Mum tried to do the GSAK thing and stuffed it up! This is my actual bulk uploaded log! I would have found this one with my mum Gr33nslime! Im sure I had fun, i especially like finding toys. I hope to have more finds than weeks alive! Thanks to my mums obsession for geocaching... Cheers for the cache.
# 1641 Back at the park again today and this time it is full of bigger kids playing sports. We got out the scooter and to be honest I wasnt expecting the enthusiasm to last all the way across from the playground to GZ, but it did. Spent only a bit of time checking the multiple red herrings that my gps led me to before I checked the logs for a clue. All say it's hard.. check.. not in the obvious spot.. ok. But geodatums hint helped immensely and once I moved about 15 m from where I started, there it was.. thanks to the person who marked the spot too. Glad to knock this one off as I solved it years ago but was put off finding it by the logs. Cache all dry inside, thanks TheB0rg for acknowledging the legendary dam busters.
Found at last after trying on a number of previous occasions. The area is quite dirty so you have to work to avoid the various bits of rubbish etc that can be off putting. Not in the obvious places . Isis58 helped me get my act together
Solved a while ago, and visited the final location today. Quite a few spots that matched the hints given, and got quite dirty searching each an every one, but nothing found. Might need checking on this one.
The puzzle was straightforward, but although we found ourselves in a clearly appropriate location, finding the cache defeated us today. There seemed to be several possibilities, and although we searched for a while, as we had a ferry to catch, time was limited.
Solved before leaving for an evening stroll around the area. TFTC and a fitting final.
Had heard this was a tricky one and so it proved. Fortunately my gps proved helpful after some time searching but it took a paf and three attempts at arms length to eventually locate the cache. Replaced it carefully and not so far in on the second day of the Mega. Tftc and a favourite.
Paddle chick, Sir Belac and I as a team out caching around Wellington .Thanks for this mystery cache.
Well what a great start to te weekend with a truck tipping over on the main motor way and having to detour through Masterton way instead and only just making the Fish and Chip event last night what a great turnout, we were also lucky to of gotten two traditionals while there, then it was time to head off and set up for the night at the Mega event site, but as we got there late there was no parking anywhere for us to park up our caravan and car so we socialized for a couple of hours until we could park up for the labour weekend. Then it was a few hours sleep and then time to get up and attend the Mega event and what a great crowd lining up outside the door at 9am grabbing there bags with lots of goodies coins etc, we purchased some great items from the store there while we waited for the waves to wairapa race to start. so did the wairapa first we teamed up with Rattle geocachers and we came second a great effect done by all. Thank you for putting this puzzle here, at first I didn't think we were going to fond it it was obvious many geocachers had been in the area, but no luck then I widened the search and yes found it signed the log and then n our way again. We had worked the puzzle out a few weeks ago especially to get this weekend on our visit in the area. TFTPC
Found with Injeanious as we explored the area during the Mega weekend. We signed some logs as team JeJe to save time and space. We searched here for a while before being joined by another couple of cachers, the cache was found when the search was widened past the obvious. TFTC!
Having worked out this puzzle before we'd left home, we were keen to pick it up while in the area.
There were a couple of cacher's already on the job when we arrived, but they hadn't found it yet, so we joined in the hunt.
It took a little bit of widening the search area to find it, but find it we did!
Thanks for the interesting puzzle cache

WENZ Mega Weekend is finally here... After experiencing broken sleep at our accommodation, it was time to pull it together and get out there... With Gap (of Fap and Gap) and NZFlossy...
Saturday: We enjoyed solving this puzzle and we had the solution worked out at home... Groups of us merged at ground zone, and there was plenty to look at. We had the benefit of previous finders and they were giving suggestions. I chose to read through the logs and spotted an important detail. This led us straight to the cache... Small hands came in use for this extraction. TFTP and TFTC.

Found with Bkj97 and Kiwi couple on our puzzle solving expedition whilst at the MEGA. Great day's caching and exploring the Upper Hutt area. Took longer searching than we expected but nailed in the end. T4TCSL
Done and dusted. Got a direct hit on the second run and avoided the flak.
Good history.
Another Mega and the inevitable list of cache finds to log. Not really a chore, just time consuming for this old geriatric. My apologies for the repetitive logs but I will attempt to add a few additional comments as I go. Had a great two days. Catching up with other cachers is always great. Day one was mainly a solved puzzle collection with little blue hen and Kiwicouple. We also squeezed in a few adjacent traditionals and a couple of multis while participating in the CITO event in Trentham Memorial Park. Quiz night was a fun event after a very tasty roast dinner and we were happy to finish only 4 points behind the eventual winners. Day two little blue hen and I gathered a few more traditionals that we hadn't done close to the Mega centre. A few coffees, a favourite point or two, some frustrating searching at one or two and then off home for a rest. Thanks to all the COs for making it another fun weekend. Now to prepare for the Melbourne Mega in November. TFTCSL

Isolved this dam cache several years ago and have looked for it onat lest two occasions. Very fond memories of my (then) passenger almost crawling into one of those buttresses in searchof the cache but to no avail. Today a different tctic was employed - use the power of a MEGA and if you wait long enough someone else turns up. Well it wsn't quite like that but almost and yeah I got my name in the log and tirned a blue face into a smilie one. Perfect - now ontom thedrive by event. TFTC # 13,126
Day 1 of Wellington Mega
Today's mission was to register, collect lab caches, other events and hopefully 11 different cache types in 1 day.
Tall order but we made it with a few minutes to spare.
We also collected other caches that we had solved prior to coming.
Turned into a bit of a day so sorry for the copy and paste of logs.
Thanks to the cache owners for the placement of these caches.
Looking at the greater picture of the Wellington area we have only scratched the surface so will be back at some stage. SLTFTC

Find number 4231. Attending the Mega. Teamed up with eyespyben and ABCDF4 today to try and get 11 cache types in a day. This was the unknown (puzzle) cache. It took a little while to coax it out of it's hide. Thank you for the placement.
Solved this as I enjoyed a sweet treat on the seat nearby, and then quickly found the final. Tftc!
Worked out the dam that needed to be busted got hight and speed right now to get in to gz safety with out getting shot down.
And a successful bombing run complete.
Day two of our road trip for WENZ mega . Up from the Invercargill to attend WENZ . This is our first caching road trip in the north island with annielin and Ruru-nz .so let's bring on a long weekend of caching fun and many great memories and lots smiles . Three sets of eyes have to be better or are they.??

Day 7 of my road trip for WENZ Mega. Out with Downsouthinv and AnnieLin today, aiming for 11 types in a day.
Cracked it with Downsouthinv and AnnieLin.
Swooped in for the kill after the CITO.
Nice and drop but log book is full.
Thanks for the smilie TheB0rg.

After some toing & froing and reading of logs, finally laid our hands on the cache. Nice little puzzle & appropriate final location. Cheers TheB0rg!
Had fun solving this puzzle. Loved the location! GZ was about 10m out for me, but reading previous logs helped. TFTC!
That was perfect. Mrs Sobad had looked in a number of spots when another cacher made a call. We had not looked there but the GPS did decide it was a reasonable spot as we approached to sign the log. The other cachers also had a replacement log having read recent logs so we signed a nice dry log.
Thanks.
Thanks.
This had me searching for a while some one had put more paper in so it was good to go TFTC
Attending the mega with TeamBOP. Great time to catch up with other cachers and visit Wellington lLots of fun and laughs while finding lots of great caches Thanks to all the COs for providing all the caches and the work that goes into them. Signed logs as Team BOP to save space and time for us . Sorry for the generic logs will try to add to them once back home Thanks
We solved this in anticipation of being in the area for the MEGA. We could find the dam but had trouble busting the find of the final. We spread out far and wide and eventually Mr Stik-a-crane said those magic words "I found it". A well hidden cache found with sethraven, NZTravellers and stik-a-crane.
As we were returning to the cars, a mother duck and her string of ducklings headed across the main road - not sure how she timed it so right to get there safely, but once she got there she decided that wasn't where she wanted to be after all and turned straight back across the traffic - we could see tragedy about to occur so stopped traffic in both directions and she made it safely back to the park - it took a few attempts for some of the wee ones to jump back up the gutter but we made sure they were all safe!

CITO clean up in the area and the offer of more geocaches including this previously solved Mystery cache.
Met other geocachers searching nearer to the concrete ‘damn’ structure, but I found the coordinates accurate and homed straight in on it.
TFTC Enjoyed the historical solve so giving a FP.

It's great to be in Upper Hutt for the WENZ MEGA. Our chosen special challenge here today is to try and find 11 different caches types. Along the way we appreciated the help and encouragement of other cachers at times. We find the camaraderie of cachers is one of the delights of this game.
Being in Trentham Memorial Park for the WENZ CITO Event was convenient for our challenge as we could get a few types in reasonably close vicinity of one another. This one was our Mystery/Puzzle choice, #10 of our challenge.
Mrs G had followed the advice of Hint 1, which certainly helped with the answers, and had it all ready well before we set out for MEGA.
However, the co-ords could do with checking. As others have indicated, they are misleading by 14m or so. There is an appropriate object for this cache, a dam, in the vicinity, and the cache is in a line straight up from that.
This is a nicely themed cache. TFTC

In Wellington for the MEGA event and had a great time! Congratulations to the MEGA team for putting on such a great event and thanks to all the cache owners for the great caches. We cached with Sethraven, HeMaLuDy and Stikacrane today and had great fun driving around the place grabbing caches and attending events.
The solve was a team effort before we came to the MEGA and the find was a short walk but a longer hunt. The obvious places looked too flood prone so we expanded our search and found it finally. TFTC!

Down for the MEGA in Upper Hutt, Wellington, with a group, SethRaven, NZTravellers, HeMaLuDy, caching around the area.
Logs individually signed as "stik-a-crane" or "SAC" if space/time was short .
Having finished at the CITO we spotted this solved puzzle nearby …..this one took a little time and we had been told that the co-ords may be a little off...which still didn't seem to help.
Just about to throw in the towel, when the clever hide was uncovered.

WENZ is New Zealand's 5th Mega Event ever and for months I have been anticipating in attending it. It is the first Mega Event that I have ever attended and sadly I could only come for one day, so early on Saturday morning my father and I got in the car and drove our way towards Upper Hutt for a hectic day of geocaching. In the end it was a spectacular day where we managed to found 67 geocaches somehow throughout the whole day, see a lot of new faces, catch up with friends and just have an altogether amazing time.
We had just come from Wellington, where we had attempt to do a Lab cache and get a few more Waves to Wairarapa amazing race answers. We were about 10 minutes late for the start of the CITO event but we still picked up a bag and a pair of gloves and started to walk around and look for rubbish obviously via geocaches like most people did today.
I had solved this geocache a while back when I was planning on being in the area, but last time I came here I was unable to locate it. This time I was lucky enough to be going on a search for it with a few more pairs of eyes. We had just found the nearby multi-cache together and were now attacking this one. We arrived at the GZ and we were greeted with yet another pair of eyes that was looking for the geocache. The search commenced with everyone bending down to look into all the crevices and putting our hands down into dark places. It took us a while to actually find the geocache, the coordinates seem to be off be quite a bit. But after a long period of searching one of us managed to find it, we then went and put all of our names in the logbook. TFTC the puzzle was nice and fun to solve.

A quick find post- fish and chips event. Capperz used his levers for the retrieval, TFTC TheB0rg. Hide spot relevance to the puzzle duly noted. Cheers! FP.
First day of mega weekend, today was all about the ferry ride and a few targeted caches on our way gradually to Upper Hutt. A few in town, some in Ngaio, and some success in Porirua (but a few fails also) before making our way eventually, and slightly late, to the first event of the weekend. Fish and chips in the park. Been hanging out for that. A frustrating day in some respects, but in hindsight the rest of the weekend was a solid success. Thanks for the caches to all COs.

Team BOP have descended upon the Wellington region for the 2018 WENZ MEGA. We have a lot of caches to get through so there isn’t a lot of down time but it's great to meet the locals, CO’s and fellow cachers. My online logs are largely cut’n’pasted because my memory has started to blur many of my finds together so apologies for that. We’ve signed logs as ‘TeamBOP’ or individually depending on log space and time. Lastly a big Thank You to the Team - TNXPro, Davidsonclan, McJandals, NZFlossy, FapandGap & Squirrel Nutcase and to all the CO’s that made this a memorable trip
This park is full good caches. We solved a dam buster puzzle in Auckland, so we couldn’t resist this one.Tftpc
In Wellington for Mega with others from the Bay of Plenty.
Signed log Team BOP to save room. The team consists of my self Tnxpro , Philip.Perry and McJandals. Quick find.

TFTC. In the big smoke for the Mega. Out with kotutuSI and warfi to have a bit of a play before heading to the fish and chip event this evening.
Due to crash and shutdown of SH1 we amended our plans and headed towards the Hutt to pickup a few caches.
Hunted around in the dark with a stella Chch team - warfi, KSI + 2 KR's
Thanks TheB0rg for the entertainment.

Attending the Wellington MEGA, great to visit here from the sunny Bay of Plenty, these finds have been found with my team members, which include myself, NZ Flossy, Davidson Clan, Squirrel Nutcase, FapandGap, TNXPRO and Philip.Perry and signed Team BOP. (To save room on logs) We are having a blast and gathering lots of smileys along the way. Please excuse generic logs in advance. (as I have saved the template using Cachly) Many Thanks to all you cache owners for the placements. Cheers A great puzzle but a little difficult to find, got there in the end though.
We're down for the mega event and this is the first collect of the puzzles I've solved for this weekend. A hiding place in keeping with the theme
I’m in the Windy City to attend the Wellington Mega with a few fellow Westies from Auckland. We’re having a great time as we explore the area collecting smileys as we go. Thanks for bringing us here, sorry for the copy and paste logs but am using a Cachly template to log as I go.Took awhile, found after we extended our search
With a group of fellow west Aucklanders Merlot58 and Bertie Blowfish To attend the MEGA and for a fun long Labour weekend’s caching. Thanks to all the cache owners for setting up and maintaining the caches. Sorry for cut and paste logs. Spread out to find this one and eventually found it.
Interesting episode in "WW11" Visited cache site several times with a did not find always looking in what I thought was the obvious place. Time for one more try reading all the found logs I discovered that when I reached the given cords I had to travel SW. After a short time searching had the cache in hand all in order so signed in and replaced as found. Thanks for the interesting cache and the enjoyment of the search.

I enjoyed the puzzle but was quite surprised at what I learnt about the invention of the bouncing bomb, the Dam Busters and the results of their raid etc. I remember seeing the moving starring Richard Todd as Guy Gibson. The cache was not an easy find and after reading the hint, searching (in the wrong spot as it happened) for 20 minutes with Team Geocacher Mr. T, I stopped looking and started reading past logs to see if any would help. While I was doing that I heard a should of triumph from Mr. T who had started searching in another area. It seemed to be about 6 metres away from where both our GPS's had initially taken us. A grateful find as it give me more points towards the planetary challenge souvenirs. Thanks for the history and for the cache.
Solved some time ago and was in the area today grabbing a few caches in the area. Got to the GZ and there were plenty of hidey holes. Luckily I had my little torch with me so something caught my eye. My main problem was that I had a bit of a problem extricating the container. Took a bit of fiddling but got there in the end. Thanks for the puzzle. [Find # 4116]
After some persistence we finally located the cache we were determined to find this one as a fellow cacher was yet to find tftc
#423. Commemorating the brave airmen whose Dam Buster exploits are well known. Cache found after the CITO event in Trentham, also a watery event! Tftc.
Second DNF today. I found a number of possible hides around GZ, but none yielded any treasure. I think I checked them all out but the ground was wet so perhaps I didn't reach in as far as I might. Add to the list of caches I need to return to.
Another couple of days over on the North Island and as it turned out a little bit of respite from the quakes that happened on the Sunday evening, though being on the third floor of nearby accommodation resulted in a midnight rude awakening, coupled with a rock and roll ride up high.
Arrived evening-time on the Sounds Air caravan plane and was met at my destination by local cacher wb1116 who kindly kept me company as I revisited previous D N F sites, solved puzzles and a few other quick and easy caches available on foot before the dusk came and curtailed the caching available.
As it turned out I also had all day Monday for caching in the area so was able to make a dent in the local available caches, thanks to all the C Os for their placements.
3 from 3 all Puzzles, all previous D N Fs. With WB here for help I was able to know that the co-ordinates for this are around 15-20 metres out. Was high enough to avoid the bouncing bombs destination and reached in to my wrist to find. Hit the target tonight and flew off happy it was mission accomplished

No joy here this evening despite a successful 'solve'
I used to work at the 'home' of 617 SQN, RAF Lossiemouth (known affectionately as 6-foot) and regularly saw the SQN plaque and an actual dummy bouncing bomb.

This was on the must find list. Guy Gibson was my dads cousin. Took a few minutes to hunt it down.
Solved on a previous occasion, but couldn't find the cache. Another look today and the GPS was pointing me to a place I didn't search last time. It was a bit of a stretch and a tight squeeze but I managed to get my hands on the cache this time. TFTC
Final found this one. Had solved this sometime ago and visited a few times with no luck. Today with extra eyes managed the find. TFTC
Found with NZ1. Coords hard to get a fix on position so had to rely on likely caching hide. TFTC.
After reading the book, 'The Dam Busters', I enjoyed this puzzle cache. Once I had the coordinates locked in it was chocks away and take off for the mission. No flak but fading light meant I needed to be quick about it.
I hadn't noticed this memorial before, tucked away off a busy road. Under wet trees my GPS was all over the place so I fell back on my backup GPS; Geocachers Perceptive Sight. Located the cache pretty smartly but took longer to retrieve it. Tricky. Smaller hands would have been beneficial. TFTC!

Sunday trip up the valley. Pleased to be able to make this one, finally.
A previous DNF.
This time things were quite straightforward. Puzzlingly so.
Enjoyed the history that went with solving the puzzler, and enjoyed even more the association with the civil improvements adjacent to GZ.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
