Looks like this one is behind the fence and so inaccessible whilst they demolish the UCSA building..
Once again i am the victim of my own thought processes overthought this cache, stepped back, took a breath, and found it in seconds. Not as hard as I made it out to be. A note to the CO: spoke with a tradie overseeing the building, and apparently at some stage it will be demolished. No idea what that means for your cleverly hidden cache, but thought to post a heads-up to you and fellow cachers.
today we have a look for some geocaches in the city and we found this one, tftc and greetings from germany.
Got this on a Sunday, would be difficult during the week! Good hide and my 800th cache find. Yay!! TFTC
Yesterday I looked geocaching map and desided to get eight different type on caches. In here Christchurch was all different quite near others. I found this on my way to webcam cache.
Thanks for the cache and greetings from Finland

TFTC. I snuck in during a quiet spell for the university. Searched for a while at the wrong level, then reviewed what was meant by "ground level" and a quick find.
A neat little hide in what I'm sure is usually a very busy spot. Luckily it was quiet today. Tftc.
Went for a wander around as we are just staying around the corner. No one about so was a quick find. TFTC

My second Kiwi cache!
This was the second closest cache to our accomodation, so we were off to GZ. It was 8:30 in our normal Timezone, but 10:30 PM here, so we tried to use extra stealth.
This was the second of two quick caches.
We drove out of the hotel and after finding a good entry pint, we parked the car and headed out to Ground Zero. I like night caching, it makes it all the more exciting!
I trod on a stick and a bird called, but other than that, it was a clear shot in the dark. After a quick look and a check of the hint, the cache was located. Opened the cache, the log was signed and we were on our way.
Thanks for the cache!
Container and contests are in perfect condition. The coordinates were about 6 metres off from GZ, but the hint made up for them.
Well done, and cheers for the New Zealand Souvenir.

Out for a run with R to get some geocahces and improve our fitness!
The GPSr was bouncing a bit today but the hint had us on course. Very few muggles out this morning so easy to get undetected. TFTC!

Out with Niece #2 to pick up "treasure".
Spent a while looking for this one, under the watchful eye of a security guard. We were just leaving when we gave it one last try and there it was!

Visited from Wellington to spend Christmas with the family. We escaped for the afternoon to explore and burn off the Christmas pudding. The Beans were convinced we were going to be arrested by the security guard driving round on a check, but he left us alone. Thanks for getting us out of the house and thanks for the cache.
Tftc - took a friend who hadn't cached before - took us all 2 mins but the friend made the first find!
Quiet enough today for a quick grab - certainly do not want to do this on a normal Monday morning. TFTC
Had to come to UC on a Saturday morning for son to sit a chinese test. Might as well look for a few caches while we waited. This was a nice quick find. TFTC.
the uc treasure hunting society went caching tonight on our first adventure and we managed to find this cache! it was a nice walk from kirkwood village to gz and we talked about caching in the future. i might have written the date wrong in the logbook, oops. thank you.
Had a bit of a play on the cold dirt before I read the hint. Easily found afterwards, TFTC.
On top of that, this Cache needs a new log book. The current one is rather damp.
No luck tonight. The area around GZ smelled a bit suspect, so I opted to flag a thorough search.
Been passed here a fair few times and each time I thought we must get that cache at some point. Tonight I thought it would be quieter for a grab and I was right. There were a few cars in the parking lot but nobody wandering about which made for a nice quick search and a quick find in less than a minute. Nice little hide. TFTC
1 of 6 today. Several sign posts without signs but only one that had an obvious "right"...
March 3rd one of us, going on a scouting mission with an experienced geocaching friend, found and signed five logs despite large numbers of muggles. Today we went around those five on a relatively muggle-free day to leave our calling-card and exchange swaps where possible. Here we picked up a home-made crayon and left a bead dragonfly.
Third find of the day. Lots of mossies. Find it fast or be eaten alive. Left something homemade in there.
Had to find this one as still have huge admiration for the assistance the Student Army provided during a pretty tough time. Thought I'd be there early enough to avoid the crowd but there are some early rises in this city.
Found it before the GPS settled. TFTC

Urk - those mozzies are persistent! They chased me across into the carpark. Took a bit of finding, as I don't do clues unless necessary, but it was a nice hide. Thanks.
Today I rode my bicycle through Christchurch. I was able to discover many beautiful spots and find geocaches. Thank you to each of the owners for the hide geocaches.
Find #400 for the BAMMJams - what a great reason for a cache to be placed. Glad it was a milestone for us The hint was spot-on, very useful. Cache found easily, log signed, and the min-BammJams placed a tiny dice for future swag collectors. We came by on a Sunday afternoon in December - no problem parking, and no muggles around at all! TFTC - we were only in Christchurch for a short amount of time this weekend, so only did a few caches, but will be back to get more
Waited for a break in the rain and grabbed the cache, which was safe and dry in its hidey hole. TFTC!
Good to get this one off the list. Quick find and semi-sign with a pen that only sort of worked.
Left hubby at the University book shop while we made a dash to grab this one. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
Took a minute or two before we spotted the sign, then another minute or two till we had our hands on the cache. Found with debsnz
Too beautiful a day to stay indoors and study, after the fog lifted the wee cachelet and I went awol and decided there must be something educational about yet another day of cache hunting. We discussed the flora we passed, studied the behavior of herds of under 3 foot sized humans and over 5 foot ones while avoiding being trampled, found a community garden with amazing mosaic roosters (which fit nicely with our current topic of Ancient Romans) all in all a justifiable escape from four walls.
#4 find - was nice and quiet, the academics must have been deep in their studies, don't recommend sitting near cache, what looks dry and comfy really really isn't and one is left with the sense of soggy buttness!

Still out and about on my evening walk. Nice quick find here. Cheers for the hide!
found a few days ago but forgot to to log visit was a quick and easy find. WLTC
Nice quick find (after taking the wrong road through the University). A worthy cache mention in relation to the University Volunteer /army and the earthquake. Nicely done.

With a 30 nanosecond break in the rain , I thought I'd go for a bit of a stroll and have a look for this one. It took quite a few moments before the penny dropped and a change of tack finally had me with the nicely hidden stash in hand at 17:50. And perfect timing, here's the rain again!
TNLNSL, although a couple of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks looking4thebroc.

Found it! A quick walk on our last evening in Christchurch. Grabbed a couple of caches along the way. This one took also took a little longer in the dark and there were a few passing Muggle students. TFTC SL Cheers from Pippin and Muggle Wen from Melbourne!
Quick visit to the uni, opportunistic cache while wallking around looking at the changes post earthquake.

Netty and I seemed to have this place to ourselves on a quiet Saturday morning so the process of finding this cache was straightforward. It's nicely hidden. TFTC.
Have driven past this one many times. With the family away there is noone expecting me home on time so have taken the opportunity to grab a few caches. Quiet here today. TNLN SL TFTC.
Pretty empty around here at the moment. Poked and prodded and eventually found. TFTC.
Something must be said for geocaching at times of the year, when muggles are away on holiday. Back in my old stomping ground, this would have been difficult during the day come term time. Today, it was a ghost town, so all good! The last log says it all. The sign is gone, so you have to use your brain a tad. Might need a description update, CO? Anyhoo, located without problem. Log signed and replaced, just before Campus Security did a drive by *phew* Thanks for the cache, looking4thebroc. Enjoyed the hunt. Thanks for bringing me here. Happy New Year! Cheers!
Missed the turn in, but pulled off a uie and got to GZ, a quick find when I saw a key sign was missing

It was really dark by now. PC Sniff was ready to go home after a nearby DNF (which he HATES) but I convinced him that we were virtually going to have to walk past this one on our way back to the car anyway. All his reluctance was replaced by a wide grin when he found this one while I was still looking for the blue sign. I took a photo (because we didn't have a pen) which I can email to looking4thebroc. Thanks for all these caches that tempted us out for a late evening walk - after finding this last one even PC Sniff had to agree that it sure beats sitting in a motel watching TV.
Sign missing but was quickly in hand after a short grope in a dimly lit carpark Found with jrb5050 TFTC
Nice hide, obvious when you look with a cacher's eyes but not likely to be muggled. Just before 6am is a great time to avoid muggles.

Nice easy find.. as they say.. sometimes you have to go to gz and just look.. tftc
Gps was spot on. with a bit of intuition i visualised a blue sign on the remaining white post. Nice little hide. TFTC
A lot of looking around think hint should say white post not blue sign. Found after nearly walking away...just one more look. TFTC #443
An easy find at night shortly after arriving in Christchurch. A few muggles leaving the establishment across the way but no troubles in grabbing the cache. Yes, the item mentioned in the hint is missing but it's attachment device is clearly identifiable. TFTC!
A very easy find at GZ. Hint needs to be updated as the colours item referred to in it no longer exists. Thanks for the cache.
Took a while to find but how good and lucky a little hide it is. Signed log and noticed CatMad was the last signee not the last logger. Maybe someone got their caches mixed up? Hmmmm. Tftc. A favorite for the sneaky spot you've hidden it!
I have been looking at this one for some time now but due to the high presents of muggles in the area timing is everything. So happened to be passing, really I was ment to be doing the dreaded shopping, but spied little (as in not many, not people that are little) people about so shot in and had the little treasure in hand. Log signed and wham bam thank you mam tftc
My third find today at the university. Despite the colour mentioned in the hint being missing it was obvious where it was meant to be. Then just a hop skip to the cache. Perfect hiding place. Tftc
It was very quiet here on the morning of Easter Monday. Note that the colour part of the item referred to in the hint is no longer there.
