As with most years we found ourselves with a break up in the North East between Christmas and New Years.
We headed into Albury/Wodonga for a spot of caching.
Managed to find this one on our travels.
Lots of ants on and in this one.
Thanks for the hide.

A quick find while out caching this afternoon. The lid is missing for this one. Might want to take a look. TFTC.
Another great find on a geocaching trip around the area. Cache needs some TLC TFTC

This was such a lovely walk to the GZ. This one had us stumped for a minute and when I was about to mark as "not found" & muggled. The "real" cache was quick in hand. Tricky, we loved this one! Great find for our 50th!

A lovely walk around the lake with ducks and many dogs being exercised. Thank you for bringing us here . TFTC. SL TNLN
JoeyLovesTreasure, ZQX and I decided to make a road trip to Albury this weekend to co-incide with the Melbourne Mega intro event being held today. But while we were in the area, decided to pick up a few local caches - it would be rude not to!
Third cache on JLT's and my early morning cache run. Quickly found, although I was lookin for a larger container!
Thanks Haveanez for the cache!

Found with Ducky0303. There is an actual one here, dont be fooled by the other one.
Nice little walk and a quick cache. A nearby plastic container tricked us but found it in the end.
Had a quick look around the area with the kids. Not too much happening around here. Found it without any trouble. My 3yo daughter took a frozen sharpener and left a necklace. TFTC.
[:(!] Had a couple of hours to fill in before heading off to Geelong and what better way of filling in the time is to grab a few caches, this was one of them.
I like it

The cache container was dripping wet on the inside, and the contents of both ziplock bags were soaked due to some holes. Unfortunately we didn't have any bags with us to switch them with. It might be worth giving this cache a bit of a dry-out.
An easy park, walk, and grab. Some great little picnic spots out here. We've lived in the area for our whole lives and we've never been out this way! Thanks haveanez.
Came to get this one a few days ago but someone had drove their camper van over the barrier and made camp right next to gz :/ .Came back tonight and all was clear, we soon had the goods in hand. Good thing too cos the mozzies here are large and carnivorous. Log is very damp but we were able to leave our mark. Tftc.
This was our final cache for the day. As we were walking across the grass to GZ the heavens briefly opened up but thankfully the rain stopped to allow us to sign the log book. TFTC
Off early today grabbing a few caches, thought with it being Sunday and just after 7am this would be an easy grab.
Well that all changed when I seen a campervan parked right where the cache was!
I drove past a little and thought nope bugger it I'm now a tree lover looking at different trees in the area
(that was my cover story).
I slowly walked right into GZ watching the campervan like a hawk & trying to look like I was meant to be there & doing nothing much, I was about 10mtrs away, sneakily grabbed the cache, no sooner had I put my hand on it a ute turned up with a fella & his 2 dogs, he let them out for a run for a minute while I was signing the log called his dogs back and was gone as quick as he was there.
Meanwhile back at the ranch/camper van there was no movement or anyone peeking out the window so I put the cache back and took a photo of the tree & left.
My heart didn't stop racing until I was about 100mtrs away from GZ.
I'd normally not attempt a cache with muggles so close but I felt I had this one covered so to speak.
Thanks for the cache, good spot!

Easy find. Good one for get kids. Needs maintenance as it has got wet recently.
With Andy182277, Trish48 & Larnie! Took the bear, left a golf ball. Log book a little damp. Thanks
Pretty sure it has been muggled. The cache was in clear view and was totally cleared out. Needs a new log etc.
Found a container under tree, was waterlogged and had the remains of previous cachers, I think it may be destroyed
Never been here before, nice walk in along the lake, good coordinates, and good hiding place thanks.
Found this with mainebirds and khanman47. Took Geocoin 'All Seeing Eye'. TFTC

Nice easy stroll in the park with khanman47 and NacSpaceman. Quick find by NacSpaceman. TFTC
Fairly easy find and a nice view. I was a little worried about the vehicle parked near GZ but it was only a muggle having a nap in his car. Dropped off Geocoin. TFTC
Nice easy one for the kids. Took a leopard and rainbow pen and left an octopus and starfish. TFTC!
Found with cristabel & the little geokids while the big geokids were at school. Never been in here before (apart from to the wiggles concert). Will definitely have to come back with a picnic. Great hidey spot. Quick park n grab. TFTC & bringing us to a new spot in town
Glad the gate was open, drove right up to GZ for a quick find and log signing.

Day 9 of the August streak, and we went out to grab this one, despite it being a bit wet. In hindsight, the lakeside are probably wasn't the smartest spot to choose in the rain, but we've been meaning to get this one for a while, so seemed as good an opportunity as any. A quick stroll from the locked gate, and we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC

It's always nice to be the first to sign the log book! A nice walk along the lake and a view of the circus. TFTC
Never been in around these lakes after driving past quite a few times. Had a look around the other side first an saw a few kayakers before coming back to GZ and making an easy find. Was good to have a quick find after a few DNFs today.
