Felt like we were hovering the area for a bit too long as muggles kept going past. Had 2 torches looking around but couldn't locate tonight. We will be back!
Third time back here, found it at last! The plastic bag made it a bit too easy to find. TFTC!
Cache had no top in and the log was wet AZ. I replaced the log and popped a plastic bag on it and put it back. But needs urge t maintenance!!
After scoring another nearby cache I got this one to. Now on the the next.....signed the log. Thanks for bringing me here to this place, TFTC Riser5+MiniMaxy, from Mr Cuddly Brick, 16 November 2015, cache number #1059!
Easily spotted today. It must have been missing last time. A cute little thing but he's lost his lid. Tried to cover the top with bark but it'll get wet if it's wet and windy. Thanks for this cache
Not far from The Forum. And where the conference was. So I could duck out very briefly. To catch this one. It took a few minutes. To locate as this type of cache always seems to do for me. But finally found, signed and returned to hiding place. Thank you for this cache and another smiley face.
A Waitangi weekend road trip to collect a few puzzle series of caches that we have solved over the last month or so - plus any other caches that we can find on the way!
A quick search and we soon had cache in hand. Lid missing so used some local debri to seal top.

No luck here. Felt very obvious searching around. Saw some other people go past reading clues on a phone but they weren't geocachers. Found one of their QR scanner codes later on in the day. Will aim at attempting this cache at another time of the day. Thanks for the hunt
No luck on this one. I found a piece of string dangling from a lower branch so not sure if it has been muggled or not
Was quite busy at GZ so didn't get a good look - did admire the art on the bridge... we'll come back when school is back so we can have another look
Muggles must have thought I was a really mad bird watcher (twitcher). I stared and stared into that tree until I got nervous that the car owner might return and wonder why I was still loitering near his car? Will need my geopartner for this....
Inspektor Higgins and I came here on our way to Tutukaka! We had a hotel in the city and during a nice stroll through the city we found this cache! Thanks for showing!
On a short city-tour through Whangarei I was happy to find some cool caches while "sightseeing"
Thanks to the owner for placing and maintainig this quite exposed and tricky one
Cheers from a German visitor!

A day that started in Opononi and ended in Whangarei, a quick burst around the middle of Whangarei while dinner was being collected and then a "Holy" time in the later evening by myself. All good fun - thanks.
Almost didn't find it and then glanced up and there it was! Easy to see but hard to extract and replace without muggles noticing. Had a nice chat with the bus lady from the regional council about where the (advertised nearby) electric vehicle charging point is!
It was nice and dry - I did not notice the request to replace it the right way up before I came home to log it but I think it would have been the right way up.

Evacuated from work today due to bombscare, so quietly crossed the road from evac point and signed log
Found during a Satuday morning stroll!!! (about an hour after the growers' market finished). TFT(quick)C.
Nice and quickly found. Loved the artwork across the road! I'm a big fan of caches bringing people to check out street-art. Loved it!
Up from Wellington for work, so good opportunity to score a few caches in another part of the country!

Nice easy find our second one in whangarei, not many people around on a Sunday morning, parked right under the tree. Thanks for the cache.
#6274. We were heading out for a drive to Dargaville, but if there's a cache across the road from the petrol station, you've just got to find that first. Was surprised Troodles hadn't found it given the head start, and was pleased it didn't take too long to track down. TFTC.
We pulled into a petrol station, and while StreetWalker was sorting the petrol, I checked the GPSr and discovered a cache was over the road. Unfortunately, the Oregon was not co-operative and had me going around in circles. Then SW turned up - and he found the cache. TFTC.
On our way to a concert at Forum North and took a short stroll here:-)

Just arrived in Whangarei for the first time & parked up on Banks St waiting for whanau. What do you know? A cache 75m round the corner so we had to do a quick grab.

searched for ages, even climbed up to look in the birds nest, to no avail.
well we found the traces of yellow balloons around the lower branches and a chair nicely tucked in to the tree next door but alas none of the required features that we should of here... and getting on towards dinner time really didnt help ;-) maybe another time we are up here>? if its still around that is
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We are in my old home town of Whangarei visiting family for Easter. Decided to head into town at night time to go for a few caches when the streets might be quieter – and they were very quiet on Easter Monday! Nobody around and a quick find, thanks for the cache!

nice cache... allthough it may need re-hiding somewhere else on the tree, in the mean time i re-hid it a little lower than the place i found it in. (also the place i found it in will defiantly break soon)
Hello from Latvia.
Nice cache. It's little bit hard when so many people arround - it was market s day.

Not the sort of thing that I would have expected to find in this type of tree. A quick find and a nice mural. TFTC
Great cache - clever Found on a rainy evening but still a few people around getting pizza.
Signed the temp log paper
