Doesn’t seem to be a box here so guessing it hasn’t been replaced. Grass is pretty long right now so we didn’t search too much
SHIP DOWN!! I REPEAT SHIP IS DOWN!! It was full of water and the lid was broken, but thanks for the adventure on my beam e scooter.
The lid wasn’t on properly and the cache was full!!!! of water. Unable to sign so have attached a photo. One of the latches on the lid has come off. I’ll put it back best I can
Stunning Tuesday morning, if not a wee bit chilly. Couldn’t sign the log cos the cache was full of water! Cheeky little spot nonetheless, pic attached.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I turned around after a snake crossed my way. So please keep your eyes open, otherwise it is a beautiful area to walk around.

Thanks! This was my first find! The cache was full of water though from all the rain
Cache was full of water and logbook sopping wet so couldn’t sign but took a photo of logbook instead!
Great hide! Found with Shazmeek. Regrettably I did not have anything to add to the container this time. Tftc!
Thanks for the cache.
First non micro find in a very long time.
Was great to leave something!

A quick late afternoon cache before going out for dinner in Kingston. Very nice walk and views over the water.

Disappointed I didn't see any more of the ginormous clovers today, or any trolls for that matter. I did feel like one searching for the cache though, so I guess that counts! TFTC!
A wonderful crisp morning for a walk around the Wetlands to collect some caches. Did the Lab caches too. Thanks for this one Geo_L.
Quick find thanks to very accurate coordinates and a helpful hint. I’m a visitor to Canberra and I’ve never been to the wetlands before. It’s beautiful. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC
It's all in the name really. A nice hide and quick find on a lovely Canberra autumn day. I've been around this area but never to this little bridge - thanks for showing me.

A fantastic spot for a regular. The longest part was waiting for some nearby muggles to leave so I could embrace my inner troll. There seems I be a fair bit of work going into this park to make it even nicer, it’s great to see. I loved the rusted metal look of his bridge, they’re really going for it. Next they need to start killing the willows and replacing them with natives. A lovely walk around here, thanks for bringing me down!
Canberra Day 4: Mount Pleasant - Commonwealth Park - Kingston - Parliament - Acton Peninsula
Today’s route was extremely circuitous, given that I was trying to clear up some outstanding Lab caches. So, I was sent Cycling up and down the lengths up Lake Burley Griffin while picking up whatever other caches that happened to available along the way. The views were good, though slightly marred by the haze that descended on the city today. But, a decent haul of 41 finds was had, before retiring at the end of a warmish day.
This is the specific log for this cache:
Quick layover here to pay the toll... sorry, the troll a visit. The geotrail seem to indicate one side, but it was on the other. What luck, ah well. Thanks for the nice find in the wetlands!

Headed into Canberra with fitzy_1965 for the Annual Secret Santa event but arrived a bit too early.....oh well, time for a few caches before the main event.
Had parked nearby and collected Hidey Hole so completed the loop and picked up this one along the way. Nice easy find here today.

Of course I checked the wrong end of the bridge first but when I had that sorted, the cache was soon spotted. TFTC
Thanks Geo_Lithofacies for the opportunity to make like a troll while exploring this bridge!
Luckily it was a cool and cloudy day with few people around so could freely search and retrieve.

Arriving by bike,
I found that like,
me, others were doing the same [:o]
So I had to wait,
the trolls took the bait,
and I found the cache during a break
"Did that make sense ??" [:i]
No trolls were harmed in the finding of this cache

Last one in the Wetlands. Didn’t notice any trolls when we SL at 4.25pm but left a glow eagle PT so he could see in the dark. #6127 TFTC Geo_Lithofacies

Yay! The weekend means that I don’t have to find park and grab caches - it is good to go that extra mile for a better cache, we Bobl27 and went quite a few extra miles today! I wanted 9 caches today but more than that I wanted Tankengine caches. With a 300 finds pathtag held out tantalisingly in from of me, I have work to day. So from the 9 caches today, 8 of them were TE ones! It ended up being a longer morning than anticipated, but glad to have some of these crossed off my list!
This cache: the one non-TE cache for the day. We were scarcely going to leave it all by itself were we! Quick find under our feet. A passer by knowingly asked if we had found treasure!
Thanks Geo_Lithofacies for the cache and the fun!

It’s a lovely and tranquil spot with astounding views of birds and other wildlife along the track. A nice bridge next to a glassy brown wetland was the perfect spot for a well hidden cache. Thank you!
So after a pub lunch in Kingston, I had a free afternoon to myself & decided to grab some caches. I wish I'd planned it, as by the end I was sunburnt & dehydrated, but it was a lot of fun.
This was a quick find where you'd expect, given the name TFTC!

Wonderful place. I have paddled around the wetlands but haven't been on this side on land. Isn't caching fantastic. Thanks Geo_Lithofacies
