Nope, nothing, and I spent about half an hour here..........and even a paf couldn't help!
Couldn't seem to find this one, I think I looked everywhere for it without causing any suspicion. There are 1000s of places it could be hidden on this wharf or it's been muggled.
Looked and looked and looked, no luck. Skipped a ferry to keep looking, still no luck. Hoped to complete the series but I guess not today.
Nope not for us - we read we looked we touched we were alone - I would assume we are utterly blind - congrats for the hide and thanks anyway

Took a bit of looking but got there in the end, loads of muggles around so had to be supper sneaky.

Walked over from multi, sat and spotted the likely offender, photo of hints required for no.4 as this is my first in this series. Thanks losing the plot
ALL7 and I decided to do some late afternoon and night time caching. Headed down the dreaded thin black line to Sydney planning to troll through Ryde, Concord, Five Dock to try our luck. There was a horde of fishing type muggles right next to GZ, Will return
Jfindit and I decided to do some late afternoon and night time caching and more fun.. Lovely cool weather.. Busy Muggles...thank
Very clever indeed - this one took is ages to find with loads of muggles hovering - did it very sneakily though no one was suds about us !!!
Having found this cache before, I have noticed on a recent visit to the wharf, that the cache is gone from the hiding spot that I remember. No trace left!!
Had the place to ourselves and still could not find it, guess we will have to come back with another hint TFTC
Searched the second time now
Searched under all seats and everywhere
Anybody a hint?

I'd DNFed this a while ago and had watched the logs of the successful finders wondering where I'd gone wrong. Well it seems my PAF advice had put me in the wrong spot and I should have just trusted the pointer and looked better as I found it in a few seconds today. I had to be quick as there was nowhere to park up above. Signed and replaced just as the Cat was coming into port.
Thanks!
Thanks!
A very frustrating find. Needed 2 paf's after a long search. In the end it was in a spot I simply neglected.
The log book is full and needs replacement.

I so didn't want to log a DNF today. This was around the corner from my finds this morning, all of which gave me trouble. I had the wharf to myself for a long time and had a good search. I thought I knew what I was looking for until a PAF put me somewhere else. Even with that help I still couldn't find anything. I read all the logs and looked across a wide area but had to give up and go. I hadn't done any of this series before and had an inauspicious start. Going by my PAF I think it's gone but I've been wrong before.
Cool cache, found this one with geoqwert4 during a break from our 16km kayak expedition to find 'feeling wrecked?' TFTC
25/05/13. 11:25 AM. Cache #632. Current streak: 258 days. I arrived at the wharf and there were a couple of muggles sitting & chatting away. I pretended to be interested in the timetable. There wasn't a ferry for 30 minutes - what were they doing here? Just hanging out after walking their dog, it turned out, and lucky for me they left after about 10 minutes and I could search in peace. Or could I? Within a minute, a passenger turned up, so I was stopped again. I read through logs, but no real clues, other than that it could be seen and didn't have to be felt for. More passengers turned up and I was starting to think I'd need a return visit. Changed location, sat down and spotted something. Was it the cache? Yes! By now there were at least a dozen muggles as the ferry was only about 10 minutes away now. So while I could be subtle enough in retrieving, signing and replacing, I no longer needed searching. I wonder if many others have found it with this many muggles about? Photographed my clues for cat4 (I now have first 3), replaced it, and moved on. Cheers, LTP. }:)
Middle of the day and mid-week is probably a good time to find this but I still had to wait a while for muggles to be ferried away. Then I found it relatively quickly, more by good luck than good management. Good camo. Have to go back and get the "numbers" and then find #2 and #3. TFTC.
Find #1385 - 5 for today. Found on 13/03/13 1:41 PM
Glad there is a long time between rivercats, gives a better chance to search. Hopefully noone was monitoring the security cameras as I was searching all over the wharf until I spied the clever camo'd cache. Did it again, forgot to write the magic numbers. Had to go back. Thanks. TNSLLN

Re: the last DNF. Those cachers that have logged finds will confirm that this isn't anything like as small as a nano; it is just pretty well camouflaged....
Great hide great camo great job loved it. Somehow found quickly coords spot on. Tftc
No luck here.
Don't like those nanos in areas where you can't avoid people bumping into you.
We even waited for the last ferry in order to get some time alone but didn't help much.

Perfect timing. Weekday ,midday, no muggles, easy parking. Had a great look around, had to wait as one River cat disembarked passengers, then I had the place to myself. Where oh where can this sneaky hide be. Finally I spied this cleverly concealed cache. Oh no, no paper to record the clue for #4, so I used my thigh. Walked around all day with coords on my leg! Good hide.
Didn't want to waste LTP's time, so went back for another look after pondering on a key clue in the logs overnight! and GOTCHA immediately Only a newbie at this but this was the cleverest yet for me! Well done for a brilliant hide!
I'd better check this out as gcphil says the place has been tarted up in which case the cache could have gone AWOL. I'll report back when I have checked.

No 'found it's' for nearly 3 months! Just checking - is this one still really there after the wharf was closed in November for pressure cleaning and some repainting?? Or am I just blind?
I found this cache as Porko2003 was parked waiting. The parking here is ticket parking. Thanks to Blundo Blusters my geocache eyes are quite good spotting the difference and thinking outside the box. Beware the muggles! I was a few seconds lucky to find the cache.

I have come down from the Gold Coast for my brother's 60th birthday and I just had to combine it with a good number of Sydney caches.
I am really revisiting my home town because I was born and bred in the Lidcombe area and my brother lives at Guildford so I have picked some caches around the general area and looking forward to see how many I can fit in.
I have had a great time driving round different suburbs and going to places I never went when I was younger.
I had spent over an hour waiting for muggles to get on or off ferries, for adult visitors and children visitors from the nearby park.
I had tried to search but to no avail and I was running out of time I was due to fly back to Qld today and the time was getting closer.
I headed up the road for one last cache and ran into a local cacher who was kind enough to give me a clue, so I zapped down and grabbed the sneeky hide.
These have been 3 incredible hides, have I got time for the Final.
My cacher blood was pumping so I headed off for the final.
Thanks losingtheplot TFTC SL

We stopped by just as a cat pulled up with muggles. Only had to wait 5 mins to start our search. Took about 10 mins of searching and JACKPOT! TFTC. Jennyfromthefarm and smeagol. Clever hobbitsies!
Finally I got it! I must have been blind! My GPS sent me to another corner of the landing stage, so that I looked for the cache somewhere else. Thank you to the owner for the hint, it was no problem thereby!
Muggles galore, but within 2 minutes of arriving at GZ, a cat arrived and the muggles disappeared to allow me to search. Which I did and found a nicely camo'd container.
Beauftiful spot for a hide - Fave from me.

Found with Zal on bike I have to say this is VERY well camo-ed! It blends in so well it took us ages searching until Zal noticed something a bit unusual...Aha who would think! Had a nice ride with my boy and managed to avoid getting knocked down without my helmet on - very naughty I know but bike helmet looks ridiculous on me!

Another nastily well done one. We rode down here picking up Zhaomin a few caches I had previously found on route and meeting Mike from Cachefinders2. At GZ we had only wait 5 minutes for the ferry to whisk all the muggles away which was good as this took some hunting! Scoured around for a good while until the lights came on... when the lights came in my head. Spotted the cache which has blended in even better as it has aged and was able to get my first bit of info for the final. Sad to see the nearby listed trig was not actually there, then rode home in the dark
Cheers LTP!

Glad I finished work early, it was an annoying day... Thankfully that meant I had some extra time fit in some caches. Another good one in a nice area, TFTH!!
After returned from the city pretty late, I could finally search for this one, without muggels around. Found it! TFTC
wow. pretty cool cache. had lots of fun with the geogran on the cold rainy trip outside on the ferry. when we got to gz, there was no muggles (yes!!!). didn't beleive the gps when it said i was 38cm away from the cache, but sure enough, after a couple more rounds of the wharf the gps brought me back to the same spot for a very clever hide that both of us were impressed with. came back to catch the ferry after a walk around the beautiful park to see the wharf jam packed with muggles. 'glad we did it before' me and the geogran said to eachother! TFTC!!!!
Found by Mary & David at 1500. Glad to have a find at last after 3 DNFs in a row. Great views and a cleverly disguised container. David knew this area well over 50 years ago. He learned to swim at the nearby pool (although it didn't look as good then). He also remembers the big tram track loop here that was the Cabarita terminus of the Enfield-Burwood line, although the trams no longer ran. No such thing then as the River Cats, which remain a novelty for both of us. Our thanks to losingtheplot.
Having done 2 and 3 we were overdue to find this one. Arrive at GZ to find only one muggle so we could have a descrete look. After about 5min the muggle had left so we had the place to ourselves. Soon after we spied the tricky hide and had the cache in hand. SL, noted down the numbers and repalced. Now to find what we did with the numbers from 2 and 3 so we can find number 4.

#8 of 16 found while geocaching on Australia Day.
WOW, this one look us a while. Parked in an illegal parking spot, one of us had to be in the car at all times. We hadn't found any others in the series yet so had no idea what the cache would be like. We searched for over 30 mins with no luck, already have swapped who was in the car. There was some grass in a peculiar place, but no cache there. We finally found the cache just as we were about to give up. Nice place and cache. TFTC

I couldn't see the bloomin' thing, but my wife managed to find it. I'm good at getting us there, but she's usually the one to come up with the goods. This cache was very cleverly camouflaged. Imagine all the commuters who pass by it oblivious.
While we were there, a swarthy-looking guy arrived in a white Ferrari convertible. His camera crew of two filmed him miming the words to a song that they played on a portable CD player. Surreal!

This was a quick find today being a Public Holiday was quite at GZ, so I am looking forward to find the others in the series, thanks.
Second visit in a week for this cache, but after finding The Cat stops Here - #2 we decided to give this another go on our way home, mum spotted it again while I was somewhere else.
Lovely place to be for Christmas, so many families in the park - really good feel to the area.

Found with Equipe des fous team after a picnic at the nearby park. Very enjoyable cache. We spotted a fishing line and thought a quick tug on it would reveal the cache, but alas, it was just discarded fishing line. Loved the container. Cheers and thanks.

The Equipe des fous and rinsemesocks clans met for a picnic here today. The cat stops here series had been on my radar for a while and I have made a couple of unsuccessful attempts at #3. Fortunately I had help here today as rinsemesocks made the find just as he had given up. A nice looking disguise and I was looking in all the wrong places!

Cool find, really well hidden. Took a while before the wharf cleared so we could put it back.
3rd time lucky on this one! Looking forward to the rest of the series. Many TFTC.
This seemed like hard work. Two rather large muscular gentlemen were fishing off the wharf within a couple of metres of GZ.
I was hoping for a quick grab but that was not to be. The pair of them were continaully watching me and I was having trouble finding this elusive cache.
Finally I noticed something a bit strange. Hadn't seen a container like this before. Then the hard bit started, retrieving and replacing. After a lot of pseudo photos were taken in the vicinity of GZ I was able to grab it, walk away and sign log.
The return process was a lot easier and while all this was going on the aforementioned gentlemen still hadn't caught a scale.

Back I came hoping for 3rd time lucky. A little guidance from CO and I parked and walked back to GZ. Two muggle ladies were sitting close to GZ, but I wasn't going to let that stop me THIS time. I started searching and found cache in the second place I looked. Really, it wasn't there last time, hehe!
Grabbed it with stealth and SL. Got the last clue for #4 and replaced again, not a mere 2 metres from where they were sitting...whew...Got it done! Ready for Cat 4 now. Great camo! TFTC.

searched high and low for some time before waterfist spotted it. Unfortunately in my haste (ferry was coming in) I tried to pull open the cache instead of sliding it open... and it came undone. Sorry, maintenance needed... TFTC, it was fun.
I have no idea why it keeps recording my log date as 9th as i am logging it as the 10th!! Basically it IS the 10th and my previous note should be the most recent!!
Got here early in the morning to beat the muggles. Looked high and low before I stood back to grab a drink. Casually looked around and then thought hey that looks strange. I called Dinkyfish over and CIH. TFTC Great fun!
I can't believe i am having to disable this bloody cat AGAIN!!!!!!!
ANd no, not because it's been muggled this time. See logs...[|)]
Back to Cabarita (I am thinking of moving there, either that or set up a tent on the wharf...).
It will be back (honestly!!)

DNF #2. Arggggggg...
So came past again, searched again, and asm now thinking of changeing my name to losingtheplotaswell. I just couldn't work out where this thing might be. I looked high and low, uinder and over and begining to think that these are too much for me I hope the camera's not on it, otherwise some security guards might be watching the finds and removing it. Will be back. Time to try No2.
