Riding by on the geocycle this morning and stopped to have another look. I wasn't expecting to find it as I've searched pretty hard on recent attempts and it hasn't been found for quite a while. I think it needs to be checked.
Went with my walking group. Three sets of eyes, hands and feet couldn't find it. Is it still there?
3rd time searching for this in the last 2 months. Pretty sure we have the right gz. Is it still there
I've attempted this before in my first little while caching and was unsuccessful and this attempt proved to be no better
I searched around for a good 10 min or so but no luck. I know where it would be, but couldn't manage to find it. This cache is one stop away from where I live so it's taunting me every time I get the bus!
I jinxed myself, saying I would be successful with two caches today!

I was out touring around the area on the geocycle again today. I must have looked odd to anyone watching me ride into the bus station, but I did not actually pass any muggles today.
The stroy made perfect sense and I was soon pretending to fix my bike at GZ. The geocycle can be a great distraction when it needs to be. Nobody actually went by, but I was ready incase they did

Solved this one just after being disabled. Must have been an older PQ. It did take a while to solve as you have to realise you have to avoid the elevator as well!

FIRST CACHE! Nice and simple, but still oddly rewarding. And to think I walked past it every other day for the past year. Recent storms have left the log a bit soggy though.
I was out and about on a late night run when I came by to the bus station. Late night was a great time to approach this one because I got parking nearby relatively easily and started working my way through the puzzle.
My first walk through had me in the wrong spot but the second go had me spot on and the cache was in hand super quick.
Thanks for the cache DRML, I really enjoy this style of hide.

My sin decides after being born without complications that he wanted to be fussed over and stay in hospital a few more days.... So to fill in time I came over to find this cache. I think of I wasn't wearing my sunglasses I would have slotted it quicker. TFTC!
Emergency visit to hospital for grand dad found while waiting for tests to be done.TFTC
Missy Mojo and myself decided we needed a break from work at the nearby hospital, so popped out to Subway for lunch. Remembered that this was the first cache we had ever looked for, but not knowing at the time exactly what sort of things we were looking for, failed miserably - we decided to try again. Attempting not to look too suspect whilst in uniform, we searched, failed, went to eat lunch, then went back again fairly certain we were looking in the right area. Finally a well placed hand touched something not quite right and the sneaky devil was retrieved! As per Missy Mojo's log below, we signed the log, and decided to leave a bandaid as a trade, as it was all we had on us! TFTC
Found on a lunch break with Corrinikins [:-)]. Tricky hide! Took a bit of finding. Google was consulted. Keen eye required. Log signed & band aid left for any emergencies [;-)] lol. TFTC & thanks for an awesome lunch Corrinikins x
Last time I tried for this as part of the August challenge it was temporarily disabled. As I forgot to put it on my watchlist I was happy to see there was no hoarding when I arrived for a specialist appointment this morning.
Figuring I needed to make the most of the exhorbitant prices that you have to pay in the nearby carpark I dashed over the bridge and up the race. Surprisingly for the time of the morning (8.30 ish) there was a surprising lack of foot traffic, which I am grateful for.
A furitive glance to the left and the right and I had this one in hand, even managed to sign the log and replace without seeing anyone.
Thanks for the cache, glad to clear this smiley.

based on reports that this may have become a construction site - I will disable for now until I have a chance to check this out.
Walked past this one today.
Temporary construction hoarding has been placed in front of it.
CO might want to visit for a look see.

A fresh look from another approach did the trick. No pen though to update the log.
We were staying nearby to celebrate our wedding anniversary and what else are you going to do but find a cache! We actually walked right past GZ a few times in our walks back and forth to Southbank, but on this occasion we stopped right where the clue lead us and we were able to quickly put our hand on the cache. Loved it. Know the area and had an idea where it might be before I went there just from the description. It was right there no need for GPS. TFTH!
After an appointment at the Mater I just had to get atleast one while I was up here. Way to many school kids at the bus stop so I walked around from the other side and soon found the hide.
Retrieved, signed and replaced in between the muggle traffic. My first find in Brisbane.

After the final day of my exams I went for a walk. Despite the weather and the (very good) chance of getting wet, I needed to do somaething to lighten my spirits - and what's better than finding a cache or two. Staying at a place near the Mater this one was the first on the list. After some initial confusion as to where I was supposed to go, I noticed I had already walked past it on my way to the listed coordinates. I back tracked a short distance and after a little while the cahce was found

Found on an easter friday morning of caching in brisbane city. A nice puzzle indeed. TFTC!
Afternoon walk back to Kangaroo Pt and took the chance to do this one. Found after a bit of thought. Thanks DRML.
Found a few months ago but forgot to log- back in Bris for a few weeks- passed cache, still there
Walked over from the city to meet fiancé who works at mater. It's 37 degrees and we are walking from here to Taringa. 7km. Stupid New Years resolutions. Get fit. Caching helps me get exercise though. Tftc.
Took a while to figure out the clues meaning due to long day at work. Minor brain malfunction later and a quick google I was back on track. TFTC
Nice and micro sized. Loved the little puzzle. With the whole crew, for Tinnos bday. Went till morning in a series of 8. Got all my cuz hooked. Thanks
Found after conference at State Library. After finding mystery cache at that nearby bus station I walked here to find this mystery cache. Time to.get the bus home now.

So I was walking around the city and decided to stop by this one next. I approached from the western side and had a fair way to walk. I read the hint, and I thought, knowing these bus station's layout pretty well, I couldn't see how it would work. Oh well.. I headed in and soon found I had an option of inbound or outbound. Well, best I follow the clue and take it all from the top. I wandered along when the rest of the hint sort of made sense. I made sure nobody was watching and stole a peek in a likely spot. Nope. Maybe over there.. had a look and Yep! There it is. Some arm acrobatics and the cache was in hand. Thankfully nobody was around so I quietly signed the logbook and replaced. Turns out the hint makes sense after all. TFTC DRML
Out and about today with doscrapbooking and her family, and Brother Colin was our guide
This was out first stop after meeting up on the Goodwill Bridge. We girls did all the work while the blokes chatted. A direction was chosen and we took a walk, but decided it was a dud, so after a hint from BC, we backtracked and took a better path to GZ. The cache was quickly liberated and signed TFTC, DRML. Nice to meet you last night at the City Cacher Catchup, and don't forget that beer you owe me!

Meet up with my brother "Brother Colin" and IolantheK to walk around Brisbane,
So this is my first cach in Australian A new country to add to my list.
Nice to have meet you last night at my first event.

The puzzle made more sense when I arrived at the location. Thanks DRML, apologies for the late log.
Found it after looking very closely but not quite there for a while. Found it as I messaged prime to get a paf. Followed by a don't worry message left new piece of paper for logs and took wet ones with me. I'll hold on to them and can send to you if you email me an address or nearby cache to hide in. Thanks for the cache
Followed the story and found the cache right where I was expecting. My first Australian cache. TFTC
The Machinery of Government (sometimes MOG) means the interconnected structures and processes of government, such as the functions and accountability of departments in the executive branch of government. The term is used particularly in the context of changes to established systems of public administration. - Wikipedia (today)
So, why did I tell you that? About the only good thing to come out of MoG changes is that I get to start visiting a new set of offices that until now I've never had reason to. Haven't taken my GPSr to work yet (gimme time), but I realised that this one does not require a GPSr. So, taking the bus at lunchtime today over to my "new" office on the wrong side of the river I chose to alight one stop early - here at Mater Hill - with a lunch hour in front of me.
So, off the bus I get, having come from the city, and lo-and-behold a road, various combinations of not-stairs and ultimately I was enlightened. I also brought a pen, so it was fair to say I was with pen - ultimately enlightened.
OK, it's been a long week. But made just that little bit improved by this found cache.
I do agree that the internal paperwork is a tad tatty, but currently dry, and otherwise all useable.
Like.

Third time is the charm for us finding this one. I think the amount of time we spent at that station was likely to raise suspicion!
We walked right passed GZ time and time again thinking it was there but just not being able to feel it in-hand.
Anyway, glad to have it finally resolved - and TFTC!

Went for a walk in search of coffee (and cache) during lengthy chess tournament at Somerville House. Followed the hint all the way; search at GZ was fruitless for a while, then I suddenly found being fairly tall to be an advantage... but not for grabbing it! All OK with the cache today, though if the next visitor happened to have a new logbook or sheet and a bag, that would be useful. TFTC DRML: another good one!
This is the 2nd attempt we have made to locate while being unsuccessful. Understood the hints well, just couldn't come up with the cache.
After just been dealt a DNF on a Gun/Cache just up the road, I had to find at least one before returning to the family doing some Training at the Kangaroo Cliffs.
Arriving at the area, I worked out the direction it wanted me to go. It was not long before, I had an Edison moment. I had a look at the expected area but could not see what i needed to see. I looked for the second time at the area, and it came to light!
The container and Logbook are both dry and in good condition.

Our first puzzle cache for a while . It is rare for Stairman1 and I to actually solve one of these . Geodog accompanied us today while we searched for this one. Lots of muggles catching the buses. After a quick hunt, Stairman1 found the container. Signed it then headed off to find our next one for the day. Thanks DRML. Look forward to doing the other busways in your series.
A very short lunchtime walk got me there. I've always liked the word penultimate.
Had to transfer buses so took the opportunity to get this cache. Clue was spot on, stood back and behold a cache! Signed the temporary log. Don't think the different coulur really matters, you would need to be lo0oking for the cache is see it. TFTC
Took awhile to work out what some of the words meant but got there real quick once we did
Found at 1014. Did this one while visiting a sick sister, The log sheet was soaked and unusable, dried out container dried the sheet a bit. put my own sheet with log on. TFTC.
My first search for this was interrupted by an oncoming muggle, so we walked down to the platform and then back up to GZ to cover ourselves before The Marble spotted the colour change and we grabbed the cache. TFTC, DRML! =^.^=
Grabbed this one today, while in the company of Amelia and Co.
Geobubby is growing nicely, and the time is getting closer until we have another cacher on the block
the container really sticks out with the bright colour, and could really do with a paint match, or a darker colour.

Quick find after a tour of the city today. Peered into a few places before spotting something untoward. TN/LN/SL
I eventually found this one after mis-interpreting a clue buy just that much.
The cache seems to be fading and could with a colour matchup LOL
It also needs a new log book fairly soon as well.
Thanks for the hunt.

Found today @ 20:15. Cache is okay and log is dry. Slightly tricky to replace (perhaps another magnet might help?) but it's now back in situ.
Had a fair idea what the clue was referring to and managed to locate the cache after a bit of fumbling around.

I think under stood the clue and I tried to look in some obvious spots but there were a lot of juggles... walked till I could walk no more without crossing the road.... And back again but still nothing.
5th time lucky
have looked here several times, but today and realizing that one of the clues wasn't what I thought it meant, I searched in a different location and Eureka!!

#2450. I correctly identified where to search; but still didn't manage to find it. Luckily Troodles got her hands on it (eventually). TFTC.
After quickly finding the sister cache, Busway - culture, we were full of high hopes for this one. There was disagreement on where the path of enlightment ended and I traveled too far down it. StreetWalker searched the correct location without success. Meanwhile my search also yielded nothing, so I returned to StreetWalker's GZ, which I reluctantly conceded looked more likely as a hiding spot, and Eureka - I found it.
Thanks for another enjoyable hunt.
Thanks for another enjoyable hunt.
After success on the other nearby cache, I took a stroll back over to this one, comforted by the recent maintenance log by DRML... With the container back in place, I was sure to find it this time right... [^]
Well, yes as it turned out. It could have been embarrassing if I was in the wrong spot in the first place... Only a couple of muggles to worry about but with a bag and jacket to hide proceedings, there was no problem with extraction or replacement...
Log signed I headed back toward the city. As I passed by the Big Bang, I looked over to find GZ deserted. Turns out DRML was there only 5-10 minutes later... Bugger...

Found myself with a few minutes to spare this afternoon, dropped in to see about this cache.
Found that yes - it had disappeared, wasn't where I left it, nor was it nearby anywhere that I could see.
Put a new cache in place (lucky I had a spare one in my bag) - but will have to make do with a makeshift log...
Happy hunting!

I was hoping to skip the penultimate part and head straight for some enlightenment today however, when I hit GZ there was no joy.
I'm sure I was in the right spot and called a couple of previous finders to confirm. But, no container could be found. I did spot a couple of plastic chairs close by and wondered it the tradies from across the road are using the shady spot for lunch etc...
I'll keep an eye on this to see if anyone comes across the container.

I walked from the Cultural centre to this one and then overshot the hiding spot by 100 metres before I worked out where the cache would be. Once I had that worked out the cache was easy to spot.

Have being thinking about this one from time to time as I pass and thought of another potential area to check. Didn't get around to following that train of thought until today and sure enough, took about 5 seconds to find. I was on the right track, just the wrong path. As mentioned before, the log book is wet and needs replacing. TFTC DRML
It was a public transport day, and after a few transfers we found ourselves here. Loki had the hints and together we found this cache. Nice puzzle thanks
Found this one no problem just had to read the intructions...carefully.
It was muggle free at 9.00pm so we had a very easy time doing this.

We had had a look on Tuesday afternoon on the way but completely mis-understood the puzzle prose and spend some fruitless minutes dodging all the bus bound students and hospital staff, not to mention the security cameras, before resuming our ourney home. Later that night while re-reading the prose, bee3 leans over and says you should look ...... and there we did look this afternoon. It was a much quieter spot.
