Went to check on the cache, as the last seeker couldn't find it. Apparently someone has come along and done a bunch of maintenance in the area, and the hiding place no longer truly exists, and no sign of the cache. We may create another one for the area sometime in the future, but it will be a different location and different container as well.
Sorry about the GC that apparently went missing too.

The park is really buggy, as other have said. We parked on the hill near the school to come down to the cache. Bad move, the path down was really slippery and at the bottom there were some huge puddles to negotiate.
Cache is in good order though.

A quick find, which was just as well at it was just starting to rain a bit harder. NINO TFTC
[454] Dropped by here to check out Kira's first cache - They are starting younger these days! Quick find, sign, and on me way - Thanks Kira!
Find #565. Our last (6th) find for the day as we journeyed home in the late afternoon. We saw this cache almost immediately after it was published, but since we aren't obsessed with the FTF game, we left it for another time. The area was a bit muddy in places, but the GZ itself was fine, the specific, concise hint made for a quick find. SL TFTC.
Back today, looked at the updated hint, and found very quickly Must have just about stood on it several times last time here!! TFTC
A nice little spot I didn't know about. Figured this one might be a bit of a challenge but thought logically and found in the first place I looked, a good thing as I'm not a great fan of such hides.

Gave up after about 20 mins as don't enjoy searching these sort of bushes. Got home and saw hint had been updated. Oh well, may try again.
After 20 minutes our hands are full of prickles and we've got no result. This could only mean one thing. A cache hidden in flax.
Found early this evening after about 5 minutes' searching using the old hint (I hadn't seen the updated one and the cache data were loaded to the GPSr a week ago). Signed log, TFTC!
Saw this cache when it was published but was busy getting ready for our trip so decided that I would leave it till I arrived back from our holiday, was in the area picking up the car, so decided to take a small detour to the cache. Found it quite quickly as I was a bit surprise as it was hidden quite well, a very nice spot for a cache, thanks for bringing me here and also placing your first cache, TFTC TNLNSL (3151)
Noticing the updated hint today reminded me I still needed to visit the cache to complete the formalities. Popped over and it didn't take too long with the additional info the lay my hands on it. Looks like a few people have had some fun searching here! Thanks for the "honorary FTF" award (LOL), nobody said getting FTFs was supposed to be easy! I guess that is why they are sometimes known as "First To Fix".[:o)]
Thanks Kira for your first hide, at only 6 months it looks like you have a long caching career ahead of you.
TFTC.

After some feedback, have modified the hint to make it slightly easier.
Really glad we had the owner along for this one.. With a bit of hot and cold we eventually found the cache which was so well hidden I had almost stepped on it a few time. Great park and hope to see lots more caches in this region soon. Thanks for a great day out along the coast with The Wandering Dragons and Buttles.. Perfect day for a walk and caching.. Thanks for the cache..
#719. 2nd crack at this one, and this time took another 20 minutes to find. Collectively I have spent over an hour looking for this cache, so I managed to beat out boxhill. The area has had a good working over from myself and others as the cache is well hidden in 'one of many' in the area. A more specific hint may help narrow down the search area to save other cachers overly trampling the region while they are hunting [?]. Thanks for the hunt(s) and the exercise. SL, TFTC. -bunny, +tb
Took me what seemed like ages to find, in reality probably the best part of 45-50 minutes. I looked in lots of spots which the numerous boot prints that I left will attest too.
Apart from getting me to the general area my GPS wasn’t of much use in pinning down one particular point this morning. It certainly was well hidden.
Thanks for the search I enjoyed every minute of it – YR!

2TF. It is amazing just how much easier this game is when there is actually something to find . Had the cache was in hand quickly without needing to use the GPS this time. TFTC
FTF @11.40pm. Returned home after a bit of night caching in the Hutt to see that this had just been reactivated, so grabbed the gear and back out the door. Made the mistake in the dark of following the path up the hill - opps that led off in the wrong direction. Quick back track and a walk through the wet grass and across the plank. Oh well, feet were wet anyway from earlier this evening. A little bit of a hunt around the vegetation and the glint of the canister in the torch beam revealed its hiding spot. Cache nicely nestled in. Opened her up and found a blank front page (quick check of the back to see if anybody else had been before me) Yippee!, a FTF. Honours completed on the log and a TB liberated to move along, it was back to its hide and home again before the showers returned. Thankyou for the cache, this one makes 9 found tonight.
The cache is now planted and active. Two travel bugs begin their journeys here. Best of luck to all!
A tip that I picked up off the forums that might come in circumstances such as those you described when you submitted the cache.
If you want to check the availability of a location where you are intending to plant a cache before you put it there, apparently you can submit the basic details of the cache, add in the title "availability check" and in your note to the reviewer explain that you are checking availability and don't want the cache published yet.
You still need to check the "cache is in place" option because otherwise it won't go into the review queue and the reviewer wouldn't see it. They will uncheck the option when they check for availability and give you their reply, so it won't be published until you resubmit it (and by then the cache needs to be in place if the site is available!) by which time of course assuming all is well you should ensure the words "availability check" no longer appear in the title!
(These comments do not apply to the present cache now as it has been published and just needs enabling when ready, but I thought it may helpful for future reference.)
Don't know when I will have a chance to get to the area once it is enabled but hopefully one of these days. Best wishes with it.

We have been waiting for approval to plant the cache. Given this is our first cache, we were not given warning that they wouldn't tell us it was approved before telling everyone it was available. We will make this active once it is actually placed now that it is approved.
The whole gonefishing team decided they wanted to come for a crack at finding this one, so we arrived to find LeftyNZ and Fozzmeister in full swing with the search - nice to see you guys again. However, even with 6 pairs of eyes on the job, it beat us this time. Plenty of the hint objects around GZ, so quite a search to be done. After half an hour or so, we headed for home. Hopefully rover hasn't taken off with the cache.
No joy here tonight, but it was good to meet you fozzmeister, and nice to see -gonefishing- again. Lots of places to search, unfortunately the cache wasn't found in any of them. Thanks for the hunt, and the improtmu mini geocaching event.
Received the notification and headed straight out the door in hope of a quick find, but it was not to be. Even with the addition of both LeftyNZ and the -gonefishing- teams eyes the cache was still not revealed. On the plus side it was great to meet up with them.
